That was very nice!! I also loved the narration and the way the points were depicted in the animation, especially the part of the chain reaction. My only criticism was that it was too short I wanted some more  like Oliver Twist. This is the kind of post that should make the front page. It showcases the talent and potential of Nigerian youths and gives a ray of hope to the younger generation. well done OP it was impressive. I hope this make front page I only saw it by chance as I rarely come to this section. |

I never outgrew cartoons and animations, dont think I ever will. Always looking forward to new releases of animated series like family guy and the likes. Love disney channel and cartoon network cartoons. Recently saw hotel translavania, paranorman, The guardians and wreck it Ralph all in 3D. Actually I think that adult cartoon enthusiasts have a higher IQ than others. Because sometimes you have to be really smart and up to date to see the hidden humors disguised in parodies and satires. My friends used to make fun of me when ever they caught me watching cartoons. But I jokingly tell them that cartoons are for the matured minds so that's why they can't understand or see it in my way. Meanwhile one local girl once asked if I was gay because I watch cartoons. I just SMH for her. LOL 5 Likes |

They farm to feed themselves first and sell any extra harvest they get. They may lack basic infrastructural amenities like good roads, hospitals and schools when compared to the urban areas, But food is never their problem. There is a more likelyhood that the 40% who lack food come from the cities. Because as a result of low income and inability to farm for themselves, they have little access to staple foods such as meat, fish, plantain, yam e.t.c from the food markets who get most their goods from the village subsistence farmers. A very good example is living in the city and working in a state ministry and earning the minimum wage of 18k monthly and at the same time having a wife/husband and four kids.. .......You have no access to farmland so you will have to buy food from the market and at the same time pay school fess, house rent, cloth yourself and provide the basic need for you and your family with your little income. There is a strong chance that you and your kids will be malnourished in such a circumstance. can you see what I mean? 1 Like |

The video posted on youtube today and has received 306 views so far and still counting. Well the song and video were ok nothing spectacular but @ least this time it was not a flop like the last time. Singing is not her thing though, she does not have the talent for it so she should give a rest and stick to what she knows how to do well (acting). |

This is my own opinion. I am a Niger deltan man. in the sense that I am half Delta half Rivers. Thats all I will say for now. One of my first comments on NL with this moniker reiterated that fact. But one stupi.d Ibo bigot decided to take me up on my opinion and even threatened me. Anyways that's another story. Briefly speaking I think that the writer was a little biased. And I doubt he was a yoruba man. Because he was economical with the truth. For example, He said oil was discovered in the East. At this point in time let me reiterate the fact that I am a full blooded Niger Deltan. So I do not understand why it is assumed that oil was discovered in the east and not the south south or in the words of the narrator, the mid western region. Or am I missing something? Anyways, Nigeria jagajaga, no be today. Forget my obsevations, insinuations and critisisms. The bottom line is that the originators of that documentary did a relatively thorough job. Their end message is what should be taken to heart. Which is whether we like it or not we are one nation and even though we are of different tribes and backgrounds. And we have to manage ourselves and make our situation work for the benefit of our next generation. Posterity does not end with the people that started this nation, but it actually begins with the next. |

I don;t understand the reasoning behind what people term as beating opponents clearly to avoid being cheated by the officiating. First of all our opponents are human beings and not zombies who also have every intention to win the game and the competition. Like us they have trained hard for the tournament. But Nigerians expect our players to run through all their opponents with a goal margin of 5-0 so that even if the refrees cheats and cancel 2, 3 or 4 goals we would still win because we have beaten them clearly. You guys should be realistic please and stop encouraging the eagles to under rate their opponents because they are African teams. Yes there was a time that when Nigeria faces the likes of Bfaso and Zambia it was a clear three points. Well that era has passed so people wake up and smell the sunflower. Other Africans nations have stepped up their game. The earlier we realise that the better for us and the sooner we appreciate the dangers of fraudulent officiating to our detriment in the AFCON. OP do not allow your conscience to bug for you have done no wrong. IMO the driver was a bit self centred. If he was personally in an emergency situation like rushing his kids to school or the hospital as a result of failing health would he have found time to preach to passers by? People were having an early morning rush to work and there is every likelyhood that they will not really take to heart the sermon being preached because their mind was not really there. That is what tracts are for. The driver could have handed tracts to the passengers to read in their free time. That way he would have fulfilled his duty God in a convenient way with minimum risk. Even the Bible says there is a time for everything. The driver was doing the right thing at the wrong time. My 2 shillings. 1 Like |

The first thing that I noticed was the kind of reception that was given to Tafawa Balewa. You could tell he was regarded as a VIP. Being received by the VP and secretary of state of a country such as the USA, while the citizens gathered en mass to see the Nigerian Prime minister. But today because of how our leaders have abused their office when they are travel out of the country they are received with scorn and disdain and treated like inferior human beings. And it is even worse with the current president we have. Whom I doubt if he knows the respect and importance accorded to the office he holds. Granting personal interviews to reporters and being spoken to like as if he is a commoner and not a president. 2015 should come already and let us kick him out of office ASAP. The way he disgraces us internationally is becoming unbearable. I am waiting for an slowpoke to reply and ask me if me or my family has accomplished what GEJ has. Nonsense human beings  . 22 Likes |
