Remember his administration is doing a lot of things in the east, we all know that the fear of an igbo man is the begining of wisdom, this is the reason why they have not been any good project in the east, but now goodluck jona is doing a lot in their land, a lot feds road has been completed in the east, he ordered the release of massob members sometime ago. He has a lot of igbos helping him to put the nigeria we yorubas and our muslim hausa\fulani husbands could not put in good condition after many years of leadership. Afam4evaIsASlut: You, sir, are the ignorant one for jumping to conclusions about me and for not even having an idea what your rights as a citizen of Nigeria are.....

I havent read a Nigerian daily in more than 25yrs, so what the hell is your point? Why would I compare him to past Administrations? Truth is GEJ is corrupt and very deceitful; and this are characteristics I see in his supporters as well.
Are you high on crack that you can't be objective in your criticism!
who says Jonathan is a saint? what we are saying is at least in 2 years he has done better than his predecessor in 8 years.(Obasanjo) and please counter me with facts and not assumptions.
If an angelic politician is what you are waiting for, then you need to head to the nearest rehab.

I agree he's still got a lot to with the fight against corruption, but you can't deny a corrupt free judiciary is a very big step. cos if you look at every corruption cases that where acquitted had to do with the judges.
PoliticsRe: Jonathan's Administration Has Done Well by chris365(m):
[quote author=Godman_n]GEJ have done well.

[s]Our lights are back thanks to a POWER HOLDING COMPANY that is giving steady lights.
[/s] compare OBJ's 8 years that made "i pass my neighbor" generator porpular to Ebele's 2 years and tell me there's no improvement. he just flagged off construction of a power plant in Niger state meant to generate 700 mgwts, and other other power projects are due for completion before this year ends.Even though enough still needs to be done.

[s]Our Youths are all back to work; to to a proactive government.
[/s] Do you know that the number one employer in the biggest econommies in the world is AGRICULTURE. Goodluck has invested so much in it hoping our lazy youths that only want office jobs will embrace farming. he just commissioned a steel plant in ogun among other projects meant to create jobs. SURE-P is still on course "i know a lot of beneficiaries"

Our hospitals are back well it will help if these hospital managers are not corrupt, and the house of assembly pass the national health bill.

[s]Our road are now well maintained and without potholes;[/s] when last did you travel out of your state that you can't realize the improvements on our highways. OBJ failed to do in 8 years. "and work is going on on the east-west road" if your streets have pot holes, that's your governors job and not the president.

[s]Our Railways are working with good locomotives and not 19th century refurbished locomotives.
[/s] don't be silly. OBJ could't revive the rail way sector in 8 years and goodluck did in 2 years. at least praise this one before asking for high speed rails na. mind you they are not locomotive. olodo

[s]Our democracy has matured to the extent that we can now organise better election between 35 out of 36 state governors and know how to discredit it.
[/s] since when did the governors forum become legal? why do you think they cant go to court? my friend go and find out how our credentials have improved in election transparency. Even the ACN governors in the west are beneficiaries.

[s]Our President can afford to get drunk in an international engagement while able Foreign affairs minister can just hadn in his papers.[/s] you must be living in a beer parlour to be spitting this jargon.

[s]Yea; GEJ has done well. He should not be called Ebeleme; he should be Igbonised to answer Azikiwe Ebele.[/s] i am not a goodluck fan, but it doesn't mean i have to sit and feed myself with APC propaganda meant to blind Nigerians that Goodluck may have done better than his predecessors. especially the OBJ you all rate highly.

and my brother, fighting curruption starts from cleansing the judiciary. this is what GEJ is trying to do through mrs Aloma Muktar. this administration has suspended and sacked more judges for corruption cases than your dearest OBJ.

please Nigerians should educate themselves, cos these oppositions are feeding on your ignorance. thanks

dude, don't compare federal government to state. there's a very big difference.
fashola that has turned Lagos to a private business for tinubu is the person you feel will do better as president.
Until APC will drop this there mentality of "founders" and "owners" of their merging parties to become a full National party with a constitution that will project progress. then am afraid we will be stuck with PDP for a long time. sad

pro01: That's why I laugh at the îmbècilès that are spewing rubbish such as "Fashola for President 2015". Where would he get the votes from? Is it the 1% wealthy elite or 19% smug middle class that would stand in the sun and rain to vote on election day? Or is it the overwhelming 80% majority of poor people who this animal called Fashola has made life unbearable for in Lagos? Do these fools think Lagos, let alone Nigeria, begins and ends with the residents of Ikoyi, Victoria Island, and Lekki? I am certain that Fashola would woefully lose a senatorial election in Lagos state, assuming that is what he wants to consider next after his punitive governorship ends in 2015. Go to the densely populated suburbs all over Lagos - from Mushin to Okokomaiko to Oshodi and Ijora Badia, etc and ask the millions of poor residents in these areas what they think about Fashola. Also ask the everyday working class people who have to trek long distances to and from work daily simply because they committed the crime of not being able to afford to own cars, and have had their means of transport (Okada and Keke) banned without alternatives.

The man has no grassroots appeal whatsoever, let him and his hare-brained internet supporters continue deluding themselves.
Just leave these people, let them continue to let sentimennts cloud their judgements.

O my God. angry why are Nigerians such hypocrites and annoying? This man has almost privatized Lagos for his boss. He's now chansing agberos off lekki road to be taxing motorists himself. Because he managed to renovate the road that was already there.
Babangida built 3rd mainland bridge and didn't toll it, and this guy builds a small bridge and charges 500 per trip. (and the bridge is trully small) I know cos i live in lekki phase 1 * which the bridge links to Ikoyi*
Fashola runs a Government for the rich and doesn't deserve the praises he's getting. 'not especially for this private Business he just opened'

Smuthx: Series of events that may occur here. International politics is like a chess game.
1. Russia may or will sell the S-300 mobile surface to air missiles to Syria.
2. Syria will play the hundred thousands of US dollars to Russia.
3. Some Russian military personnel will accompany the shipments of the missiles to ensure operation and teach the Syrians how its used.
4. USA and Israel meets the Russian president and his defence team.
5. After discusions and backroom deals.
6. The Russians will give the coordinates of the missiles where its stored in Syria.
7. The Russia military personnels will leave the target in time for the Isreali war machines to target and blast the storage buildings to ashes and destroyed.
8. Russia will issue some statements and within some weeks, Russia will tune down the warnings and it will fade away.
The Russia will win, they have gotten the money. and they will have gotten some backroom deals.
Russia may not even sell those surface to air missiles. Its politics and its their trump card The Russians may not use
nice one, but i'll disagree for some reasons:
1) seria is russia's only ally in the middle east and they have a very big Naval base in russia that they are not ready to lose.
2) Russia understands that US is trying
to clip it's presense in the middle east, and will do anything to protect it's interest. Thats why no matter Assad's human rights offenses, russia will still defend his regime.

You see, if Asad falls, Russia will be greatly affected as they don't have enough allies like US.
Your analysis should have refered to China. Cos they seem to have softened their stand for Assad and are becoming silent as time goes. This should tell you how important Assad is to Russia.
I don't like Assad but i will not pray that seria falls. Cos the effect will be worst than the aftermath of Ghadafi's demise.
The west don't care about these things cos they have structures in place to protect themselves.
Make isreal just sit for corner make big boys handle this matter or else Russia will turn that place to desert within days

I had always dismissed the BBA as a waste of time until I made out time to see BBA7 (Stargame).

The show gives you the opportunity to see life from different perspectives. Different opinions, actions and reactions. I was shocked!

Its just a reflection of our everyday lives. Betrayals, backbitting, lies, false accusation, pretentious lives, high temperament.

BBA made me realize that people are diffent and will always understand things differently. I also got to understand that some smilly all is well people we see everyday can be very sad people when they resign to their various homes.

And as for the culture thing, what exactly do they do in BBA that we Africans don't do in our various homes? Alcohol, promiscuity, sex, lies, dance etc?

Honestly, I find BBA more educating than entertaining! shocked
