European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: The Fall Of Chelsea by Christino(m): 4:04pm On Sep 07, 2006
They will definitely fall someday

Clubs have fell in the past, more reason why we have rivals like barca and real, rangers and celtic, arsenal and man u (liverpool in those days), milan and inter (the old lady also) so clubs rise and fall, but when they are hot, they are hot, no taking that away from them.

So for now, they are red-hot - Like Arsenal was few years back, and Man u in the last half of the 90s.

Nairaland GeneralRe: Kudos To Seun Osewa. by Christino(m): 4:57pm On Sep 06, 2006
I was attracted to the title, but dude didn't say why he was sending Kudos to Seun. Did you find what you were looking for, or did you meet your dream queen, in what way has nairaland helped you, you didn't mention.

All the same, every day you login successfully, it's kudos to the creator of the site cos you are facing 50,000 or more people without having to see them "by force"

For me, it's what i've learnt here that makes me say Kudos to Seun. But I would say, "put more effort" it can always get better than this and so will it.

Yeap.

But in terms of Achievement, Chelsea comes behind Liverpool, Man-U and Arsenal, or don't you think so?
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: The Fall Of Chelsea by Christino(m): 4:12pm On Sep 06, 2006
I was shocked when I saw the title "The fall of Chelsea". I presently do not see a team stronger than Chelsea in the world right now and once they get their rythm, almost any other team would be a work over.

With the acquisition of Ashley Cole, Ballack and Shevy not to talk of BOularouz and Mikel and they gat Mourinho as usual, I'm not a chelsea fan (I was in the days of Babayaro and Zola) but Chelsea won't fall so soon (like Madrid).

-Make sure you have a complete SSCE result (not awaiting), and your JAMB.
-Go to the school of your choice and buy the form
-Show up on the test date and write the test
-If you are contacted afterwards, show up for the interview, with your results and other stuffs.
-If you do well, you are in.

-Tell your guardian to get ready to do some "slight" spending.

A psychiatrist was conducting a group therapy session with four young mothers and their small children, "Youall have obsessions,he observed. To the first mother, he said, "You are obsessed with eating. You've even named your daughter Candy." He turned to the second mother, "Your obsession is with money. Again,it manifests itself in your child's name, Penny." He turns to the third mother. "Your obsession is alcohol. This manifests itself in your child's name, Brandy." At this point, the fourth mother gets up, takes her little boy by the hand and whispers. "Come on, Dick, we're leaving".
SportsRe: Nations Cup Qualifiers by Christino(m): 7:21pm On Sep 05, 2006
Nigeria will always qualify for the Nations cup even if they field people like Christino throughout, as long as it's nations cup, no yawa, but for the World cup qualifiers, then we can raise dust because it's only one person qualifying in a group or is it the same here too? Even if it is, then make them carry go jare, 2-0 throughout the games means all 3 points in each game, shey?

Donmayor, its funny oo; so you don't believe anything could work in nigeria? And secondly you don't believe in nigerian higher institutions. Well i agree with you to some extent. Things are that bad in nigeria that even the legal system itself is not left out. But we are praying for things to change for better.

Tianshie Vs Toosyno: Update.
===============

Round 1:
Both guys did well overall. The conclusion was tight, only that Toosyno hit at a "Yo mama - some name calling" shocked - Not too bad though because Tianshie did not take offense as can be seen on his "return" grin.

Round 2:
Looked almost like a tie, and with some converging going on and lots of play on words, you guys did a lot of work from the beginning but you'll both agree with me that the conclusion did not hold much water yet we understand. It was a great match. With public opinion also affecting the final decision, wink

Without making much Ado about nothing, it wasn't easy analysing it line by line, verse by verse, but it will take a while before y'all 'll agree with me that Tianshie won.

The Verdict: Toosyno Vs Tianshie
Winner: Tianshie

Comments please: and let's move on.

@ Menike, JDuck : What next, there are many rappers in here now, at least I can count 12, ya'll should organise some bigger one or whatcha think. undecided

God says to Adam, "I have some good news and some bad news. What do you want to hear first?" Adam says, "Tell me the good news first."God says, "I'm going to give you a penis and a brain. You'll derive from these great pleasure and great intellect." Adam replies, "Wonderful! But what's the bad news?" God says, "I'm only going to give you enough blood supply to work one at a time."

A wandering monk walked barefoot everywhere he went, to the point that the soles of his feet eventually became quite thick and leathery. And because he ate very little, he gradually became very frail. Several days often passed between opportunities to brush his teeth, so he usually had bad breath. Therefore, throughout the region, he came to be known as the super-calloused fragile mystic plagued with halitosis

No Sir, One goal in two grin Kanu should net 38 games divided by two, plus I see them going far in carling and FA cups with the arrival of Andy Cole (why did they sell Todorov?). Let's see sha.
Music/RadioRe: Do You Think Nigeria Presently Has Any Creative Gospel Music Artiste by Christino(m): 2:06pm On Sep 03, 2006
@ Topic

Are you in Mars?

There's Jeremiah Gyang, Bouqoui, Sammy Okposo and a host of others and there's been these accapella guys (I've forgotten their names, some Seventh Day Adventist guys) who've been around for a while now, they are in canada and in 1999/2000, Boyz II Men where the only visible rivals to them.

And there's finally this new group (really don't know their name) the title is "Olori Oko" and that song is a sure hit, you'll get to hear it. It's been topping charts in Nigeria for 2 months now both gospel and secular.

So if you think Nigerian presently has none, you need to book the next rocket to the world cos I doubt you've been here in ages.

Clear?

I can bet the situation'll continue like this for days. In my opinion, i think a poll should be fair enough and should run for a day. Like I said, everyone (or almost) should be involved. The ball is in this court.

@ Muki, buzz me when u on, won't be online 2 moro, maybe for a while only.

@ Tianshie & Toosyno,
You guys did well, if you improve on this, you'd make a legacy out of it.

Signing off
Truly Yours,
