Lana1:All these pictures taken in isolation sef for pushing agenda. No be the same Ajax we dey watch then? When everyone was all saying great things about ETH then for months, researching tactics and everything, he wasn't playing with a Donut midfield then, yeah? |
Rewatching The Americans rn after so many years. 1) Enjoyed far better than I did on the first watch. I thought it was really good when I watched it years ago. Now, I think it's Goated. 2) How did I miss that their daughter Paige was soooooo annoying. The girl's been getting on my nerves since season 2. |
Very terrible game. |
TheLequte:It's a risk they can take. They already have a very good squad. If it doesn't work out, he gets the sack. Maybe Alonso would be available then. Or someone really good comes up by then. |
AdisaOwala:😂Common, don't start moving like some of the kids on here. Combining different useless abusive words together thinking you drove an online dagger across😂. Absolutely silly. Edit. I thought that was a reply from patrickmuf haha. Reason I was surprised and replied like this. Reason I even replied at all. I've been here for long so I know what to expect from different monikers. |
patrickmuf:😂😂Why don't you bring Naggelsmann in next month at the end of the season na? Since you've seen managers move in the middle of the season. Everyone literally understand Naggelsmann would originally be a top choice for every club, but it's unrealistic because of his present commitment. It's something so clearly defined. But somehow on this thread, clear things like this gets debated. And the one saying the obvious doesn't know what he's saying. If a club's going to move for Naggelsmann, it's not one that desperately need to start defining things from the end of next month. And it's definitely not one that has a good manager presently. |
patrickmuf:Don't be silly. You read what I said about Amorim in my original post. No need to dey long matter unnecessarily. |
afrodoc2:What I've said from the beginning is constant. Naggelsman is tied to Germany. Y'all are just so hilarious. |
patrickmuf:Number one, the contract expires after the Euros. He's not engaging in any discussions until after the Euros. You know this, just wan argue. Secondly he's even in discussion with Germany about a contract extension. You can decide to continue dreaming 😂. You can even dream of getting Klopp. Wetin concern me. |
afrodoc2:Lol agreement with United just before the Euros? 😂. You're joking. Very few managers get that privilege and they're legends. There's a reason lopetegui negotiated secretly with Madrid before taking Spain to the world cup. And guess what? Man still got sacked. I repeat y'all are being unrealistic. Btw, I never mentioned Southgate. All those clubs will be limited to the same managers. Or they can take risks. The type we can't afford at this point. |
afrodoc2:Whether the manager stays or goes gets decided this summer. So Naggelsman contract situation means nothing. As long as he's not available before the summer. And let's not kid ourselves, Enrique is not leaving a project he just started at PSG for Man Utd. Man wasn't even interested in the job 2 years ago. I understand what you're saying but all I'm saying is, you're listing unrealistic options. The reason we're linked to the likes of Potter is those ones are unavailable. |
afrodoc2:Lol Naglesmann is tied to Germany. Amorim has shown nothing to even deserve the link to United. And doesn't he play with a back 3? Enrique is not leaving PSG. And Inzaghi lol? |
afrodoc2:Let's even ignore the fact Ten Hag's the one for the job. Where do you expect to find the right manager? This is one of those times there's no upcoming manager that really stands out apart from maybe Alonso. And he's never coming to United. And there's no underground scouting that can be done. There's literally no one doing wonders anywhere. |
adebayo201:Lol but e get some time Rumors you shouldn't even be paying attention to. Like Southgate to Man Utd. It's never happening. It's international break, not a lot of news worthy things are happening. So you get ridiculous rumors like this especially regarding Man Utd. I'm 95% sure ETH is staying. |
eph12:There's a reason I highlighted 'that's possible'. Tactics, fitness, e.t.c affects this. |
eph12:Someone that I didn't rate before, I'll suddenly rate because of that cameo against Liverpool? Look, if the guy starts the next 5 games, I wouldn't even care. All I want is the manager putting out the best starting 11 'that's possible'. There are players I believe deserves to start or be benched. But last thing I'll do is have a strong opinion about a player starting when I've not even seen enough to justify it. Reason I mentioned Garner. There's also VDB, Iqbal, Hannibal and others like that. |
Leyqute:. The medical team are our biggest opps. They're the reason we currently don't have a LB. |
CrystalTiger:Pep does this and he'll be called a master tactician. |
patrickmuf:Btw, has there ever been a young player under ETH that complained about not getting game time and ended up as a success somewhere else? Every talented young player always gets their chance with the guy. This is an Ajax manager that mostly worked with young talents. Problem ETH might have is overestimating talents. Definitely not underrating them. |
patrickmuf:Number one, no one's saying that. I said what I said clearly. I'm the last person anyone should call a Ten Hag die-hard supporter. I'm not one that believes every decision or action he takes is right. I didn't even like the guy till he was way into his tenure. That's the point. Also who cares who was bought in and who came in through the academy in regards to the point being made? Like I don't understand. The point is the manager thought Garner wasn't good enough and y'all almost had an aneurysm because of it. No one's talking about him again. I don't know what ETH thinks about Amad, but if he doesn't think he's good enough, it's his decision. Telling me Amad was bought. Like what difference does it make to ETH? |
eph12:It's actually very funny because for months here y'all kept yapping and yapping about how Ten Hag's the next best thing after SAF. It actually took long for me to warm up to the guy and actually appreciate him. Na me una wan come portray in a certain type of way. Sebi na here we dey when we had lengthy arguments about James Garner lmao. If you're good, you'll get your chance. |
maik99:It's all about patience. If he's cut for it, he'll get his chance and take it. Remember Maino early this season. Man's now starting every single game. People were crying about Garnacho not staring earlier this season. Some are now saying he should be rotated. Every manager wants his best players on the pitch. Tbh, I don't rate Amad that highly. Never did. Probably the reason I find it easier to understand. I hope I'm wrong like I was about Maino. Thought he was a good player that needed to be eased into the team gradually. But man's actually something extremely special. |
maik99:😂😂United fans Sha. Hope Amad rewards y'all for all the faith shown when he gets the chance. |
Joezinho:I believe he'd be playing more games if he truly was impressive to ETH on the training ground. What did you think Forson did to deserve that start after just one appearance. When people here fall out with a manager, they'll have you believe he's the worst and shouldn't even be managing at high school level. That's the reason trying to say there's a reason certain decisions are being made makes one look like a fool. |
Joezinho:If you can't win over the manager on the training ground, you win him over on the pitch. Forson didn't start a game after Hojlund's injury just because he's a finer shade of black. He was obviously doing something right in training. I'm glad Amad was able to at least show something on the pitch. Though i doubt he'll start games with Hojlund back. Best front 3 still remain Rashford, Hojlund, Garnacho. |
Lana1:Lmao everyone sending this particular scenario from the 31st minute just to prove one point. |
So many people so deep into their Anti-Ten hag sentiments that they can't even truly appreciate wins anymore. |
eph12:Don't know if you're trying to be sarcastic. We needed it more. Matched their passion and everything. And we got the victory. Don't know why a United fan will try to downplay everything by saying they probably didn't take it seriously. |
eph12:They didn't put a lot of thought into a knockout game against United at Old Trafford lmao? Una sometimes ehhn |
GGMU Huge win tonight. Huge win for Ten Hag. Definitely helps a lot in keeping his job ☺️☺️ Back to back FA cup finals. Hopefully we get to win this one. |
Leyqute:Would he had gotten the same power if he had gone to a Newcastle or Bayern? Any manager would want that type of power. It's the dolts that gave it to him you should blame. I mentioned it here that time. How can you bring in a manager from Ajax that had no experience of bringing in talents and expect him to suddenly develop that ability? Apart from that, Murtough's answer to missing out on De Jong was Casemiro. That says a lot. We probably would be in the same situation if Ten Hag wasn't given the power. |
eph12:Do you remember people used to tackle me seriously whenever I brought up injuries as an explanation to what was happening? Everyone's now calmed down with that. They now kinda accept it. What do you think is the reason? It's because they saw us get Martinez, Shaw back and then saw us actually start doing something. We had our biggest win all season just 2 games or so after we got Martinez back. The problem is clear but people want someone punished for this terrible season. So they automatically go after the manager. So we probably should be doing better in all aspects. But given the circumstances, I'm more lenient on the manager. |
