I've always said I want to get married and have only one child at the age of 35.That will be in 8 years time . for my own life I want my child to be 15 when i'm 50 and 25 when i'm 60. You decide what you want for your life path and go for it . No one but you can decide and make your dreams come true.
I said more than this when I was much younger. I remember saying latest by 27,I'd be married. 27 has come and gone a long time and still yet,no show. Better be serious with your relationship now cos when you get to our age, you'd just be seeing so much faults and commas in women and to settle down would be hard.

So men have finally agreed that they could be under pressure?
There is hope for we evening newspapers then.

Y'all will marry us last last grin
We have never denied being under pressure. I as a person, usually avoid being part of any public discussion about marriage cos before we talk small, one of my big headed humans would bring me into the topic and next thing,na me go be topic of discussion. So many people you knew from way back, run into you and ask how is madam and the kids. You make a mistake in letting them know madam and kids are nowhere to be found, and you automatically bring up a topic for discussion. The easiest way out is to laugh sheepishly and say they are fine. Your parents also put you under pressure... It's same way for guys and girls.
Romance › Re: The Travails Of Mature Single Men And Women. by chronique(m): 11:31pm On May 11, 2018
Toks2008:
In our early 20s we usually have all the time in the world to date and engage in romance with the opposite sex,we care less about their persona, background and intentions...often times we take for granted the very ones who sincerely desire us because at that point, commitment is the least of our worries.

Its also amazing to know that in most cases,we tend to fall in love deeply at that point in our lives when we never planned for it.

But as we grow older and we get into our 30s without any commited affair, we suddenly realize its no longer as easy as it was when we were far younger and we try to be very careful not to make mistakes and by so doing we make things even more difficult and complicated for ourselves....

Unfortunately at this stage, many subliminally develop gamophobia(fear of getting married) because there is no more time for long courtship and you don't want to marry who you don't really know, every person that looks attractive to us is a potential spouse...men see ladies at this stage as desperados. Most guys at this stage get confused and ladies at this stage become impatient and any affair running into a year or more makes them uncomfortable.

The pressure starts building from parents, friends, family members and even the social media dares not know you are single. Then we try to console ourselves with phrases such as.."Marriage is not a do or die thing, marriage is not for everyone" "it's better to remain single than rush into wrong marriage"....

The simple truth is that in most cases from a certain age, the more we advance in years, the more difficult it becomes to get married and the more careful we try to be,the more complicated it gets but only the singles at 30 upwards can understand this.

My advise to anyone in this situation is that once you see someone you feel any form of attraction to,drop your fears,do a quick due diligence on that person and if you are comfortable with your findings just take the risk and dare the consequence because no matter how long you wait and no matter how careful you may be,you can never be too sure of that person until you start living under the same roof as a couple and there is no good or bad choice of spouse but what we have is your choice and what you make out of it.

Don't know if this makes sense.
. End of story. First time I'm agreeing with you 100%

Mr full skull, where did u get ur own conclusion that he brought in the thugs? Did u get it from the Senate committee that the matter was referred to or from d police who r investigating d matter? Or did they inform u that those arrested in connection mentioned him to be the sponsor as in Dino's case? Think from ur full skull and not from ur annus.
Stop talking like an idiot. We've all been reading the news.

My friend can you reason meaningful for once?
Nobody is supporting the senate invasion, however the court ruling is in respect of the the matter that is before the court. If you were the Judge will you now withhold justice on the case that was brought before the court simply because the man was alleged of senate invasion (which no suit has been filed)?
If you read my reply to someone else, you'd know that my response isn't as a result of his initial suspension but the comments made by the judge about how long he can be suspended and I asked if that would be suffice enough punishment for the crime he committed by invading the house with thugs and committing theft of govt property.

your brain is full of relaxer.gringrin if you Don't know Genesis of the whole issue why can't you keep shut and read before displaying your level of acute ignorance
Unfortunately, Nigeria wouldn't grow an inch if the country keeps churning out morons like you on per second billing. Just so you know, my comment wasn't in direct reference to his case. I laughed at the speed at which the judgment was given and after reading the judgment, I simply asked what punishment the judge feels he deserves because he still has the issue of invading the senate with thugs,to deal with whenever he gets back into the house and I'm simply wondering if the judge would rule again that he cannot be suspended for more than 14 days, over an issue of burglary, theft and other charges that would be pressed against him.
Before you go about typing nonsense here, get something meaningful to do with your pathetic life and stop constituting a nuisance on the internet.

Stop reasoning via your anús. The invasion of the senate was a protest of an abuse by the senate president. He has no right to suspend another elected senator.
I bet in your empty skull now,you think you have said something meaningful. So,a senator who wants to protest an alleged ill treatment, has the right to hire thugs to go into the senate and disrupt the sitting and cart away the mace? And it makes a lot of sense to you? Go and look for your brain wherever you left it,clean it up and put it to use. Walking with an empty skull wouldn't do you any good.

You should know by now, the type of people you should quote over meaningful discussions on Nairaland. There are people who have no principle and are here to defend any form of thuggery and illegality as long as it puts them in a position to support buhari and oppose saraki or PDP or anyone that opposes buhari. For them, buhari and APC,does no wrong. They don't even understand that most of us criticizing buhari and APC,also do not like saraki or Dino.

Lol. What punishment does the court think should be appropriate for a senator who invaded the chamber with thugs? On a normal day, this Omo-Agege should be behind bars now for burglary, theft and breach of public peace amongst other charges. But because he enjoys executive backing, he's walking as a free man. Nowhere in the world can a person commit such an offence, and get away with it. Only in Nigeria can such a thing happen. Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the banana republic of Nigeria (BRN).

Cos I don't know how frsc official would slap me as a person and go scot free and I wouldn't retaliate and give him a beating of his life. The first date should be the responsibility of whoever initiates it.

What is wrong is the girl ordering N11,800 worth of food.
When you're on a date, watch your host.
But if at all he/she insists you order first, keep it simple.
It's a date, not the Last Supper.

Is she married or in a serious relationship now? I am quite certain she was the one who broke up with you that's why she can laugh when you talk about other girls. But trust me, she wouldn't be so friendly when you get a girlfriend of your own you are truly in love with or engage and marry her with assurance gifts, this your ex you are so proud of now would melt with hatred towards you. Women never make happy losers.
We broke up on neutral terms and yes, she is married. I called her back then to tell her we should end it all and she had same view so it wasn't a big deal for us.

I even send pics of girls I'm chyking and all that stuff and we flow very well. But then, I also have exes that I don't even bother calling or talking to at all. Those ones are the ones that we fought and quarreled while splitting. It all depends on how you guys broke up.

Thank God we still have people with retentive memory in this country. Before our very eyes,we have seen people re-write the history of this nation so much to the point that when I hear certain things sometimes,i tend to ask myself if it's that I'm suffering from memory loss,or if these people are just lying boldly with no one to question them. I understand the idea behind Jonathan eulogizing him since he was his former boss but the truth is that,he(Yar'Adua) performed poorly.
