Now, the part I can't wrap my head around is, if given an opportunity to choose between citizenship or residency of say Canada, US, UK, Australia, etc. Vs same of countries like Russia, China, etc. those same mofos supporting Russia and gang would opt for residency/citizenship of a western country -- even citizens of China, Iran, Russia, Saudi, etc. covet either citizenship of the west or education for themselves/offsprings!

I've never used any Russian product despite my sojourn across a number of countries/continents (a 2002 transit in Moscow DME inclusive), and I do not know of any friend or relative that can point to any "substantial" Russian product he/she uses, bar the ones that live in Russia.

Show these deluded folks a car, a mobile phone, clothing, any product from the west vs one from China -- we know their leaning -- they even disparage "chinko" products, but once it's about this empty bragging and specious hatred for the west, their brain gets vacuumed!

This is long term and can't save them short term , if it was a short term solution they would have boycotted Russian gas when they began giving out sanctions, oil and gas industry is not an immediate venture that can be done within 24 hours between 2 countries so for now Germany and Co need to humble themselves and negotiate with Putin .
If Putin was actually wicked all he needs to do is turn of gas supply to Europe for just 24 hours I can assure you Europe will boil over with protests and death.
