Foreign Affairs › Re: Breaking - Putin Reveals He’s ‘drastically’ WITHDRAWING Troops From Kyiv by chronique(m): 6:18pm On Mar 29, 2022
ken6488:
read well they are reducing troops as a sign of trust

Russia still achieved her aims
1. Ukraine ceasing military action
2. Changing its constitution to enshrine neutrality
3. Acknowledging Crimea as Russian territory
4. Recognising the separatist republics of Donetsk and Lugansk as independent states.
5. Ukraine will never join NATO again

So what did this Ukraine president really accomplish?
You get time to de explain? Most people who make comments on this issue are very clueless.

Politics › Re: Timipre Sylva: NNPC Is Building Europe-Bound Pipelines To Deliver Gas by chronique(m): 7:33am On Mar 29, 2022
If Europe needs Nigerian gas, they should come up with at least 60% of the cost of building the pipeline. It should not be at the expense of the Nigerian government. With the canceling culture going on now, anything can happen tomorrow if we fall out of favor with them. If it's a solely Nigerian funded project, we'd be at the losing end.

Russia has existing contract with these nations and suddenly think they can switch it up, anyway they will drink this their oil at very last, let them go and find who will replace EU market for them, the power is with the buyer not the producer.
A country that the west is doing everything to isolate and ruin, you still expect that country to honor contracts with the same west trying to ruin them? Only a foolish person will do that.

The cheap oil that they've been enjoying is about to be turned off. They said some German citizens were offered free potatoes but refused to take saying it would be too expensive to boil. I wonder what would happen to the EU when Russia turns off the tap. I'll save my laugh for that time grin
Those folks are not just reasoning at all. Their economy is about to crash. Germany especially.

Poland that is actively trying to provoke Russia? You guys must be joking. Russia that's not getting results in Ukraine wants to start with Poland? Or you think Poland is Ukraine? Make una dey calm down
If Russia fights with Poland, it won't be the same tactic with Ukraine where they are trying to avoid casualties. It would just be raining missiles and bombs on all polish cities. But then again, it would draw nato in and of course, would escalate badly globally.

I think it's just ignorance. Most of them see the US as a perfect country. I used to be like that until the 9/11 terrorist attack on the world trade center. That was when I started researching about Osama Bin Laden and how he started. That was when I found out some of the atrocities the US had committed in the past. The Iraqi invasion and Libyan invasion also confirmed to me that the US has a lot of flaws. Most people are not likely to have an objective view on issues until they understand the history behind certain global events.

cheesy. It’s disgusting really, saying such words. The US just severed their relationship with Russia.
The funny thing I noticed from the replies is that even the Americans are not ignorant of Washington's blunders and most of them are actually being objective in their reasoning. It's only on Nairaland that people get emotionally carried away.
