what u need to do is find a lawyer who is accredited on cac website as an agent , leave the rest for them, they will charge you for each year filing do u mean we need to search for our business name to confirm its in the CAC website? coz I registered my business since 2017, just searched and I didn't see the name on their website. plz help me understand, coz I know this IRCC would do background check. |

Chubbyface: Hello Frankrobbn1: How about in a case where the wife is the one applying for study permit and dey have a 3months old, thereby applying together with the husband so he can help in taking care of the baby, Because they want the baby to grow up in a two-parent family |

Frankrobbn1: From the wisdom of my vast experiences, i will advice you not to apply for a visa when your spouse hasn't landed Canada. The SIN and study permit which are issued at the point of entry are important documents to be included in a Spousal Open Work Permit or Visitor's visa of the accompanying spouse. Should you apply without these documents, your application will not be processed in a timely manner.
On the other scenario you mentioned, I will recommend that your spouse goes first before you can put in for your application to join her in Canada. This will considerably help her application build strong ties back home.
It will end in praise Hello Frankrobbn1: How about in a case where the wife is the one applying for study permit and dey have a 3months old, thereby applying together with the husband so he can help in taking care of the baby. |

Chubbyface: Plz while submitting your documents in the new portal, there is this part that says consent personal information (meaning if u authorize IRCC to release ur info to a third party), although it’s optional but what can I put there? Should we give consent? |

Please I need a response on this!! Do I need to do an upfront medicals before submitting my application in the new portal? |
Travel › Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 21 by Chubbyface: 2:06pm On Apr 19, 2022 |
JustMellow: Hello Chubbyface,
The IRCC Portal allows a file size of 2MB whilst the GcKey account permits a 4MB file size. If your documents are little, you can consider the former. There is nothing 'so' special about the IRCC Portal. Some visit visa applications might be experiencing fast processing time, it is also not entirely different in processing pace with the SP submitted via the GcKey account.
Many applications submitted between late last year and early this year are currently caught in IRCC backlogs, and not necessarily for the reason of applying through the GcKey account. As mentioned earlier, consider the IRCC Portal if your documents are little or the GcKey account if they are much.
Best of Luck Thanks..how about the medicals, do I need to do an upfront before apply with the new portal? |

Plz which is preferable in the new or old portal, I have started with the old portal already and my friends are saying I should use the new one instead. Seems new portal needs an upfront medicals right? |

makano: Hello Chubbyface
If he is the Main Sponsor, you need a letter of sponsorship.. To notarize the letter is optional, but if the Letter of sponsorship isn't letter headed, then you may need to notarize..
Peace Thanks |

technix: Due to VO's discretion, I will advise he writes a letter to state his financial support for your study and stay (especially if his money is more substantial). He may as well use the letter to further emphasize why he wants to travel with you, talk about his employment, personal home ties, etc. Alright thanks |

Afolavid: No, you can't go for Biometrics without holding your original passport, though they'll return it to you that same day after your Biometrics but they have to see it. You're given 30 days from the day you received BIL to complete your Biometrics so you should have gotten your passport back from South Africa by then. If u delay in doing ur biometrics, does it affect the timeline for ur visa processing? Cos I am thinking of traveling |

VonVictor: Greetings house,
Please who ever has used eform A should help me out. After applying and getting the application number, will I have to take it to the bank to process it or will it be done automatically. Especially for Stanbic ibtc which is what I used.
Any help and input will be highly appreciated. Thank you You don’t need to go to the bank, it would be processed after approval from your bank. This could take few days or weeks, don’t know the duration of Stanbic |

I got married last year, and I have done change of name. But my passport still holds my maiden name, and I used my maiden name to apply for my admission and Study Permit. Hope this won’t be an issue as some of my documents like bank statement is changed to my husband’s surname name(to show relationship as we planed applying together with our son) |
