Bro just leave this dude before he drags you to his level. He has more experience in his level so he'll feel superior. You have to prove him, and his ilk, that you are better and beyond that level by simply ignoring him. His opinion doesn't matter and won't change the facts. We are one! Delta is our state, for better or worse and we shall get to the promised land soon enough. The annexation syndrome these guys have won't work here. It's only a matter of time and the truth will come out. So just don't reply him again so that this thread won't be derailed further. Mind you, not all Easterners are like him so don't generalise based on his acts. My neighbour here is from Enugu State and he is one of the most detribalised guy I know. I showed him this thread and he just said it is ignorance that causes things like this.
Thanks bro. so true

Why beg or try to bribe them when you can meet many of their reasonable demands? more than 90% of their demands are reasonable but you're only interested in begging them to stop with the pretext you want to dialogue while your body language doesn't show any sign of dialogue. And to cap it all, you kept on with your northernization agenda which is one of the things they're fighting against. I'm not in support of trying to bribe freedom Fighters in the name of amnesty. give them justice that they're asking for. there's no peace in a land without equity and Justice.

Which one is Delta North again? I only know about Aniocha and Oshimili people, they are the only proud Igbo people in Delta as of today. And No, Ndiigbo in SE need not compete with Aniocha/ Oshimili, it's pointless, it will be like SE competing with Nsukka.

Ika man, th Asaba man might share same Delta North senatorial zone with you, but he does not partake in your Igbophobia, so you can now get lost and go to your Boji Boji Agbor and Owa.

We are not talking about Ika or Ukwwani here , go look for your fellow Igbophobic peeps in Delta South, Delta Central and Edo to masturbate with. As an Igbo man from a neighboring state to Asaba, I share more cultural ties with Asaba than a Bini wanna be Ika man like you.
OK sir, Aniocha Oshimili spokesman!!

I have good pranks, I hate April fools day, I hate Halloween pranks. I always warn people around me not to that with me because I might not find it funny. lots of lives and property has been lost as a result of stupid pranks and people don't learn their lessons. when I'm matriculating don't pour me drinks, during my graduation and convocation don't pour me water. on my birthday, a simple text message is enough for me. going any further can lead to something else between us. I always warn friends because I hate such barbaric acts with passion and I don't take it lightly.

I only stayed in the North one year duing nysc but I loved the average lifestyle of the Northerner, their simplicity, honesty, am not writing to spite other tribes but I think they are the most honest people in Nigeria, why am I saying this;I work with one man from the west who is also the company driver he has access to the warehouse in the boss house where we park goods,he didn't know I do take stock of goods that goes out for supply,he would go behind my back tell security guy that we had a supply pack the goods and then sell and pocket the money. When I found out a about the shortage,I asked him and he denied,I kept asking him,he was like I should stop asking him that what kind of embarrassment is that then I reported the matter to boss, the man was so furious and when he drilled him he later confessed of taking out more than 100 bags worth more than a million.
Why did I start writing this,I am writing this because of musa[not real name]the young hausa guy who keeps charge of the boss house. my boss lives abroad with his family and even he comes back does not really stay in that house, the house is in one of the most expensive estate here in lagos, there are cars packed in the compound. The beautiful house overlooking the cool breeze of the sea is virtually unoccupied throughout the year and only musa leaves there at the bq.
One day, when we were going for supply,I said musa you are enjoying o,in my mind I was reflecting what if is other Nigeria tribes they left this house with all the properties, the cars and especially this range rover jeep for. I am not saying other Nigeria tribes are not honest but the average northerner is not greedy.
Tales, I prefer living with hundred thieves to a northerner .

Am yoruba but there are some dialects I can't understand till forever. If I see a Delta person, as far as am concerned he is IGBO. fulanis are called hausas and it's not a big deal.

some of my Delta friends even take it as an offence to be called Igbo wereas its not a recognised tribe but we all know it's closely related to Igbo

It well with this country ooo

From my own experience it is more of ika people especially the stupid and wicked people claim beni or yoruba tribe. I lived one year in agbor, attended church service in agbor tongue, though I am from Anambra I understood their tongue by 50%. Their youths are given negative sentimental ideas about the igbos. Their students in college hated us,gossiped us,envy us and blackmailed us. They have low sense and beyond normal IQ. Just a few a sensible. They are wicked and stubborn, arrogant and selfcentered. I love the asabas/okpanams,ogwashiuku, etc closer to us
You do not know what you are talking about. all these things because they don't accept being igbo? I don't understand what you mean by beyond normal but there is no single ethnic group in Nigeria - if you compare with the size, that has up to 50‰ of the human resources that Anioma has. Aniomas are great people and ika as a subgroup of the Anioma is doing wonderfully well.

When they investigated and found the Aisha Buhari in the US isn't the same as the president's wife, you called them names and accused them of being useless and that no one takes them serious anymore.

When they released Fayose's phone numbers, same story.

When they revealed Jonathan's criminal deeds, same shiit.

Alison Madueke's sordid past, the same.

But once they run a story against Buhari's government, they suddenly turn best buddies!!

I feel so disgusted and ashamed of you people.
which Jonathan's deed? that he's in self exile? apart from that I don't know of any other revelation on Jonathan

What's Federal government doing with almost 150 hectares of land in the smallest state by land mass after Lagos? That's nearly 10% of the whole Anambra state nah. Wicked people...want to cleverly seize these lands so that you will prevent SE from developing; prevent the industrious indigenes from developing their states. If they want land to develop, build industry, they will tell them this is federal government land, you can't touch it yet the land remains undeveloped. Another indirect marginalization scheme employed to keep SE undeveloped. If you want land, my friend go to the North where the land there is almost 100x of SE's land. Wicked government...always wanting to straggle Igbos to death even when they are on their own. They will leave their North with massive land, trooping to SE. Same with Fulani, you leave your massive land, yet looking to rear your cattle in this tiny, very tiny SE's land. Who is fooling who? They do these because SE's land is very fertile; that's why there are lots of trees and greenery...gorgeous vegetations.

Liston up. Your attitude called for the insults. I don't support the insult anyway, because it is not necessary. I see it more or less as the outburst of emotion which as a result of the way you guys makes it look like it is a taboo to be called Igbo.

Going through history, it is a common belief in my locality that we migrated from Cross River. I'm yet to do a proper research on it anyway... although this is general consensus among my people. However, today, we see ourselves as Igbos. We speak a dialect of Igbo. Most Igbos don't even understand us when we switch to our dialect proper. But we don't deny being Igbos, and we don't even fight over it. In fact we consider it an insult if you call us none Igbos because of our dialect. Mind you I'm from Ebonyi State... all this fight of who is Igbo and who is not is stale
. smiley
You accepted it and nobody forced you to accept it. Yes, it's an abomination to call me Igbo if I say I'm not Igbo. Are you trying to tell me I don't have the right to choose what I should be called going by the vast difference between me and what you're tagging me?

That dude is all over... claiming Anioma's migration is from Benin. Literate fellows know that migration do not occur from a single direction. Migration happens in wavelength of various pattern and time. The United State is an example.
You cannot claim that the whole of Anioma is Benin....
I just don't want this thread derailed, I would have love to engage him in factual debate on this issues.
of course you're right. all parts of Anioma are not from Benin but there are Benin elements in each and every Anioma towns and villages. higher in some and lower in other. But why are Igbos trying to make mockery of our Benin heritage ? and trying to deny all Benin/Anioma links? to the extent of calling us Benin slaves? that's insolent.
Politics / Re: Anioma State: A Priority Long Overdue. by chukzyblingz(m): 5:03pm On Jun 22, 2016
blues20:

We should focus on getting Anioma her deserved right. Anoima size is viable enough to be a state. From Ika in Delta, down to Oguta in Imo state, including Ndoni, in River State, these areas will make a very thriving and vibrant state. This is not time to argue about origin or route of migration. It is not about who is Igbo and who is not. It is about a State creation that will see to the mutual development of that corridor, from my perspective.

Besides, I'm yet to see any practical solution proffered on this thread so far.
I've not been part of this thread. I just ran into it and felt like I should skim through it and I saw a somebody making a misrepresentation of my people. you can't blame me for trying to make it straight. You can't fight for Anioma state with lies. present the facts as it is and not making some bogus statements that's not true. if you want to fight for an Anioma State, do you think it will be part of the South East? As it is majority of Anioma groups don't believe they're Igbos. Anioma is very mixed and one thing that's peculiar to all Anioma groups is the Benin heritage. Do you want to throw that fact away because you want to force them to accept Igbo.

in case you don't understand what I meant. there is no chi in Agbor. I'm not talking about language. Ikas believe in ehi and not Chi. what is the meaning of the Igbo word Chi? what is the meaning of the Igbo word Chukwu? Ehi is the Ika version of Chi while Osolobue is the Ika version of Chukwu. I don't think you know much about ika beliefs and cultures. it's very deep. even deeper than your so called igbo culture. I takes an ika man to understand what it feels like to be Ika.
