The prices are really cheap. Has anyone successfully used skyscanner before?

The authenticity of this sites is something we really need to be sure of . A fiend said he got a cheap flight to Melbourne. On getting to Airport, Egypt Air didn't allow him to board stating that his connecting flight is a cheap one.

Madam I will chat you up on whatsapp. We need to rub minds.

I can only advice you go on the 24th of December using South African airways. Its about 600K and you don't need a transit visa. Saves a lot of money and gives you ample time to settle down there before feb. If you are going to be in Dubai for more than 24hrs, then you will need a transit visa and probably spend more

The fare for 24th is fair but it's too close. I'm looking at first week of January.

Hello my people, Pls is it possible for one to travel to Dubai, spend a night or two and then transit from DXB to Sydney without a transit visa.
I know Nigerians don't need visa to enter Dubai but I don't know if a Nigerian that is on holiday in Dubai will be allowed to board a flight from Dubai to Australia.

I'm thinking of buying one or two stuffs from Dubai in January. Also the fare going this way is relatively cheap compared to lifting from Nigeria.

hello house kudos to u guys, you are doing a wonderful job here.pls if one is presenting his brothers company's account that dont ave surname as yourself how do you prove to the embassy he's your bro personal business?what supporting documents can one present thanks?

The essence of this forum is that we share information and learn from other people's experience. Well the good thing is that I was in this dilemma months back, I felt I submitted enough documents until DIBP requested for more information.

To answer your question; here are the things you need;
1.) Ensure your brother's company is a fully registered company with CAC documents.
2.) Ensure the CAC document shows your brother as the CEO/major shareholder and only signatory to the coporate account.
3.) Get an affidavit of sponsorship. Ensure your brother states his source of income on the affidavit.
4.) Show proof of relationship that he is your brother. Ensure you submit his original birth certificate and dat page of international passport.

hello peeps,i want someone to enlighten what could have happened or what is happening.... on my immi account, it shows finalized and on my immi account application mail box....it shows that a mail will b sent to my correspondent mail which is my agent and since last week Monday that it showed Finalized.... my agent said he hasn't receive any mail n e said...he has mail them to get reply as well...my people ...what could be wrong.

Nothing is wrong, just sit tight and hope for the best. Case officer has concluded on your application. The delay in getting the notification is from the department that handles outgoing mails.

Kindly update us on the program you are going for, what you studied in your first degree and the school you applied to?

Dude from what you wrote I think you are very likely to get a grant, continually pestering them might make u seem desperate which are clear traits of a non genuine student and you know what that means, anyway you the captain of ur boat you can do as you wish but if I were you I would wait as they have advised me to do and pray for the best.

I agree with you. I have even told my agent not to write to them again till next year. That is, if we don't read from them before the year ends. Well information gathered is that DIBP will close for the year on the 23rd of December which is exactly three weeks from today.

. Did u use an agent and when last did they contact you?

Yes I used an agent. In August, we got a mail from them stating that the application is ready for finalization and that we should submit an updated COE and OSHC which we did. Sometime in September, we wrote to them and they replied stating that a decision cannot be given before 4 months to resumption. So we took "chill pills" and relaxed. Fast forward to earlier last month, we contacted them again and this time they only acknowledged the mail and stated that they have high volume of applications and that they will attend to the application.

I intend to travel in February if granted visa but I need them to reach a decision on the application before the year ends. I cannot start 2018 in Limbo. I need to plan for 2018 in 2017. Traveling across continents for studies requires a great deal of preparation and time to settle in into the new environment.

At this point, all I can say is thank you JESUS for everything I have. I cannot let a visa application bother me when GOD has done enough for me in 2017.

Finally got a response from DIPB today to provide an updated SOA and reference letter from current place of employment. We thank God that someone has actually picked up my file for review. I'm sure it was covered with cobwebs and dust the whole time. How someone can just sit down ontop peoples file since June is unbelievable. I've been praying that anyone sitting ontop my file will purge before Monday and be forced to stand up. Hopefully with more prayers, the grant will come sooner than expected. Everybody should pray.!!!!!
Nice one bro. Just so I'm clear, did you submit SOA when you applied?

Pray , pray and pray , a guy I met during my biometrics called me last night sobing that he had just been denied too becos of some GYE crap , this dude had 64m as SOA and has been to the UK several times , I am beginning to think there is a prejudice against Nigerians , they just justify their denials with stupid reasons , only the grace of God can give someone Visa grant this year , nothing else.
Well it's not all about funds. A friend had a little above 2m and got his grant this same year. At that time, he was also unemployed. I guess he scaled through because he went for the same course (Petroleum engineering) he did in his undergrad. Although the tuition is very expensive A$86960, I believe the CO sees the economic importance of the course to the Nigerian economy and the career prospects available in Nigeria. This dude is also not married and a fresh graduate just like the one who got denied last week.

Most of us here look for courses that can lead to PR forgetting that we need to justify to the CO's that we are temporary entrants. If a course can give you a job in Australia but has no employment prospect in Nigeria, it foils the claim that you are a GTE.
