post=49331393: @toluene1234, I have not heard of any sponsor that was called but I cannot rule that out. I recall in the previous part, a guy ( can't remember his moniker) said CIC called his workplace to confirm if truly he works at the firm. 1 Like |

michV: I don't see the need for a new employment letter or letter of introduction from your employer. Recent payslip/salary statement of account is enough. |

slydog: My dear, I'm not in Canada. However I once applied for a petroleum engineering program in Alberta. The thing is that Alberta is the oil hub of Canada. With the drop in oil prices, Alberta's economy is down and passing through a recession. Lots of people in Oil industry also lost their jobs. Getting a job in this sector is hard for now in Alberta. 4 Likes |

duduyemi02: If it is a virgin passport, you have a high chance of correcting the mistake but "the waka and wahala that you will pass through no be small one. Such corrections can only be done at Immigration HQ, Sauka, Abuja. Gather all your documents that show your real age (birth certificate, WAEC, university transcript, first school leaving certificate) I know say you be ajebo and won't have the latter, so no probs Go to a court and get an affidavit stating it was an error and that you would want to correct it. At Immigration, you will pay change of data application fee of about 33k, write a letter to the comptroller general stating your issues and what you want. ( At this point, you have to be pray he approves your request). Once approved, your file will be forwarded to ACG Passports office in a building called glasshouse. Abeg PM Jare, I don tire to type. It's a long process. 2 Likes 2 Shares |

michV: @MichV, please I didn't include evidence of enrolment and tuition payment when I applied for TRV in June. My tuition payment deadline is August 17th i.e. Wednesday. I made payment on the 5th of August and the school confirmed receipt of the payment on 12th. Do you think I should use CSE to inform CIC of the payment? I also have an official confirmation of enrolment from the school. My app is 8weeks old. @All, your opinions will be appreciated. |

And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper. So shall be the destiny of those who believe in his word. TRV is a slave to us. 18 Likes |
