thehopeful:Surprisingly, this same God hasn't been able to make it possible for a school dropout residing in one of the villages in Nigeria to manufacture an aircraft out of no where. However, any day a Nigerian engineer who has spent years and resources training and working abroad comes back home to pull that stunt off, all credits will go to God! Nawaoo! It's an arduous task to argue with a typical Nigerian who's already been programmed. Bye bye |
thehopeful:How?? He invented the procedure through people who would pass as sinners? Do you mean God now works with sinners to invent things for lazy but "righteous" people like Nigerians? If you read the history of how some things in medicine were discovered and the people who discovered/invented them, you will cry. Let's leave God out of these things, abeg. |
Bryan88:I hope you know the people who invented the technique and equipment for that medical procedure no longer have much to do with God? If you live outside Nigeria/Africa, you'll most likely neither remember to go to church nor pray, but you'll still achieve wonderful results in your workplace with your skilful/experienced co- workers who don't give a damn about God in a country that's purely secular. This our retrogressive Nigerian/African mentality needs to be trashed. There may be God, but he has nothing to do with what we do here on earth, otherwise, Nigeria would have been the most developed country on earth. |
Righteousness2:How sure are you it wasn't via IVF?? Some of the things we quickly attribute to God are done by our fellow humans, who put in their blood and sweats to achieve them, but get no credit at the end unfortunately. |
Choilila:Unreasonable response. |
Chimaobi302:Your type will just jump into writing without first reading the instructions, and when you are failed, you'll start complaining how you wrote the whole world but your enemies/village people failed you. |
skedman:How do they generate their own lights ![]() |
adenigga:Says one foolish and jihadic Garbage Ada'mumu' who already has the mark of the beast on his forehead |
Curious345:Typical Nigerian fairytales |
Mrfixitt:What a clown! A man of over 40yrs with kids all of whom are above 5, and who has numerous properties in Nigeria is a child and not yet successful ![]() Focus on working hard in your job and take your mind off non-existent rubbish. People who put their minds in those things are usually distracted and hardly successful. |
spyder880:Congrats to you! What's your rough estimate for the carcass(including roofing), please? |
Mrfixitt:That's the usual line you backward and primitive guys usually throw around. Having so much belief and trust on things that do not exist falls within the wide spectrum of psychiatric disorders. All of you with these stupid beliefs on non-existent witches and juju need urgent psychiatric evaluation. |
Image123:Just shut up, you hypocritic fool. Do you really think IPOB or the Igbos don't have genuine reasons to agitate in Nigeria about the way the region is being marginalised? ![]() |
Mummyfour:That's my type of man! God bless his old age. Juju/jazz, whatever they're called, are all fucking scams borne out of sheer ignorance, stupidity and psychosis. Beliefs in those rubbish fall within the wide spectrum of psychiatric illnesses. |
I get the frustration, and I know where she's coming from. Although life abroad, at least developed abroad , is far better than Nigeria's, in terms of social amenities and availability of jobs, but when you begin to do plus and minus, you hardly have anything left. Most developed countries aren't built for you to save at all, you earn, the system collects it back. Okay let's do a quick calculation, let's say you have a 2500 euro job. By the time tax and insurance are deducted, maybe you will have 2000 or less left, depending on the tax level you are. You pay bills, say 400-700 euro. Service your credit with let's say 200 euro per month. About 1100euro is left. So let's say you spend 250 euro on food, send 200 euro to your parents, and let's say you budget 300 euro for two kids. Let's say you spend 100 on miscellaneous, and you discover you have just 250 euro left. God forbid there is an emergency back home, or God blessed you with 3 or more siblings. And then you still have friends who are in need too back home for naija. Phew, nah die you dey. Shey you can see that the money is finished without even buying cloths for yourself or flexing. And even for you to make the 2500 for example, depending on the kinda work though, you go don work your bones off; 10-15 hours on the jobs, 3-5 hours(depending on the no of jobs) navigating your way from home-one job- 2nd job-back home. On top of it, less than 5hours of sleep each day. All these are even worse during winter. Imagine all the scenarios up there playing out every month, which is the case mostly, when exactly will the person be able to invest and secure his or her own future.? Imagine things going sideways, and the person gets deported, same set of people will desert her and even mock her, saying, "as she go, nah him she come back". Men are even built to withstand stress than ladies, hence, some get to do up to 4 jobs, but ladies, hmm. On top of that, if you give person 10k or 20k for naija, e go still dey vex, dey downgrade the money. So for those who are saying chop alone and die alone, it is not all bed of roses out here. If you no do am with sense, you go see say 10-20 years after you don dey hustle for abroad, you can hardly account for your labour, and your life still remains the same as when you relocated. That's why people just slump and die anyhow out here; stress and pressure. Nah the emotional blackmail come worse pass...imagine a naturally kind person, chai, it is finished. [/quote You got it! |
phemmyfour:See the stupid mentality here! So, because she's being paid accordingly, she must give it all out? Do you know how much remains even for her own personal needs after paying all the bills?? |
abdulhakim3:You're a graduate and still think like this ![]() Nawaoo! |
chariisGRACE:Wetin you jam ![]() They're all assumptions and imaginations, but in reality, they don't exist. I grew up in the village at a time when more old people lived in the villages and practised those stuffs, and i have had more direct experience and contact with them than you will ever have. The only thing that exists is the fear people have around them out of ignorance and the inherited belief that they work. |
Urheadmaster:People like you will keep believing in such non-existent rubbish even when ample evidence exists to discredit them. How else do you explain a native doctor's preference to kill his 'enemy' with a machete instead of the same juju he has been selling to people to accomplish the same task? How do you explain the failure of the other one in Enugu who killed his customer while trying to test the efficacy of his impotent juju? Someone has already asked why these same native doctors who promise to make others rich are themselves poor What more evidence do you need? These unsubstantiated beliefs were handed over to us by our ignorant forefathers, and it's high time we did away with them as we now know better. Remember these same forefathers couldn't use these so-called powers to protect themselves against the slave traders and colonizers who ordinary malaria were killing. |
VeryWickedGoat:What criteria did you use to arrive at that conclusion? |
Realbuzzing:How does this relate to the financial challenges he has been having ![]() |
JoshB92:These nairaland kids self! Have you ever seen anyone who has money and made a new, close(reliable, genuine) friend? When you make money, you will have colleagues, partners, associates, errand boys, hailers, etc, but these won't be your close friends in reality, compared to your childhood friends. Majority of these new ones will be there just for what they will get from you, their business interests, and as secret competitors. The op is right, man |
JOACHINpedro:Don't mind them. Women just think this life is all about getting married and churning out children. |
Richy4:You guys are just being unnecessarily sentimental. Why would a responsible mother living in Nigeria be more concerned about his 22yr old son bringing home a woman, rather than on how he will survive the harsh economic environment and realities in that country ![]() At 22, i was still in 3rd year @medical school and the last thing in my responsible mother's mind was which woman i would bring home. The guy don graduate from school? Has he succeeded in getting a good job or a successful business? These and others are what i honestly believe the woman should concern herself more with. |
arantess:I think the devil himself lives in that state while his agents operate in the other states. The evil that happens there is unprecedented, and it should be cordoned off, even if temporarily. |
Knows12:Revenge is not necessary here,bros |
More than two and half decades and your marriage is still like this? This story is not complete. Show your wife this post and let her tell her side of the story. Then, I can say something. I say this because I wonder what led to your friend sending you porn, you that have spent more than 2 decades in marriage. This seems to be a case of a pot calling a kettle black. He that comes to equity should come with clean hands.[/quote Crazy inexperienced kids chatting with phones bought by their relatives and getting some crazy 'likes' from crazy fellows as their rewards |
BluntCrazeMan:In the '80s, I started primary school in Imo state at the age of 6. I think it's the new generation that has changed that. |
Osewa03:This is one thing those who haven't lived outside Nigeria don't know. If not for the insecurity in Nigeria and the poorly run economy, i don't think any sane Nigerian would be seen living permanently abroad. A f**king boring life is no life. |
frozen70:Imagine this kind of stupid advice! And the guy is thanking you! He should "stand with mum" whenever there's an argument with his dad, even if the woman is wrong ![]() You must have been raised by a single, mannerless, quarelsome and wannabe feminist mother! |
TheboyGhost:This is the only advice i see here. Others are from the usual roaming kids |
