You are right about focusing on making a better life for ones self rather than bothering about the structure, history or future of Nigeria. It's not worth it.

However I don't think the number of languages in Nigeria is the problem. In an ideal situation that should even be an advantage, because there's beauty in diversity. There are many countries in the world that speak several languages and they're doing just fine. And we have a unifying English language.

I think the number one problem of this country is that we have allowed corruption to go unchecked for so long that it is now woven into the very fabric of the nation. And addressing that is going to take decades. It has become so bad that whoever tries not to be corrupt is either shoved aside or even killed.

Now, I'm a 24 year old, insecure elder brother. Im in my second year in the university and trust I don't keep friends or people. I know I have a disability and blatantly calling out to my face will only ache my heart more. So, inorder to avoid that, I just rather be on my on, hold God, try as much as I can to be financially free and eventually when I meet my maker, my first request will InSHAllah be for him to make me in a better form so I can feel what it's like to not have an atom of worry.
