Ayomax:t I guess Jimi Agbaje is now an Igbo man!!!Keep your pity for people who need it. Definitely not the Igbo race and besides Yoruba's had no major position politically from 2011 till date in the central govt and nothing happened. Its just 4 years and this new entrants will definitely face Nigerians again. |
agbajesaid:Most women who gain from you spiritually, hardly ask for anything physically .You may need to discontinue with the affair immediately while you still seek the face of God for help because it makes no sense to continue cohabiting with her on one hand and seeking spiritual help almost simultaneously. |
There will continue to be problems with Bank Loans in Nigeria until bankers stop giving Loans based on relationships, perception and social status of prospective borrower. They should also stop using previous turnover with other banks as major determinant of the borrowers financial standing.I have noticed that most chronic Bank debtors just go to bank A and borrow money and take it to bank B and Bank C and roll it around as turnover and then bank D and E use these turnover in B and C to wrongly assess the debtor's financial capacity. Banks must sterilise a borrowers turnover with other banks properly to ascertain how the turnover was generated. |
Now that the card reader has been accepted,it will definitely continue to have casualties on both sides. Its a new dawn in Nigeria and we have to continue to ensure that our votes count. |
M17:I bet your abode is not so far from a motorpark and you seem to also earn your living from a drinking parlour.I will therefore not dignify you with a response. |
WisdomFlakes:I guess you are politically naive,Politicians like Tinubu,Ambode and co are working very hard to alleviate the damages done by this Oba of Lagos's outburst and here you are online displaying your puerile arrogance that comes from lack of political experience. No sane Politician calls the bluff of any group of prospective voters even if they are only 50 people because you can end up loosing an election by 50 votes. Even the last Presidential Election,APC was about 700k and PDP was about 600k.If you are. a good politician,You would have realised that this was a very close call and that's why APC is working very hard currently not to loose any further ground to PDP. |
aresa:i was in Uyo last in 2006 when Gov Attah was still there and i was there again last month and the transformation i saw was mindblowing. All the roads i passed through ie both major roads and side streets were tarred.Government is a continum and subsequent regimes after Gov Akpabio are expected to continue from where he stopped unless your expectations are that Gov Akpabio will finish all the projects himself and leave nothing to other incoming administrations.I wish you can take a trip to states like Abia state etc and then compare |
silverdam:Success has many fathers! Finally the Yoruba's now recognise that Tinubu is their leader!I remember in the recent past where they called for this same man's head because they said He insulted Yoruba Obas.In life for me,there is no clear way of doing things in life but what I know is that if you can key into a strategy relevant for a particular season, you will win for that season. If any ethnic group wants to dominate in 2019,they should open their eyes, ears and mind and come out with a strategy relevant for 2019 and they will win. President Jonathan did not loose to any alliance but he lost because his policies were anti common man,he also sorrounded himself with very selfish people and finally because the northerners have been feeling short changed since yaradua died and wanted power back by all means.APC built their strategies around this realities and won the election |
I think the reasoning here seems disjointed. |
tmotmo:Personally I think that we Nigerians will not grow if we continue with this FAST FOOD way of thinking!.We are gradually sliding into the opportunistic way of life, the fact that APC won the Presidency does not mean that we should demonise people who supported President Goodluck because the election could have gone either way.APC should work hard to sustain the victory they just won while PDP should face the reality of their loss and work very hard to rebuild. The only challenge i foresee is that because we have many professional politicians whose only source of income is politics,I forsee a run onthe PDP where many of the members may move to APC to survive. We must ensure as a nation that opposition must never be allowed to die so that we do not end up as zimbabwe and APC must also acknowledge that they are great beneficiaries of opposition and as such must ensure that a level playing ground must be created to sustain our democracy.God bless Nigeria |
olaideeeedris:I am sorry to disappoint you,i am not a youth, and i guess many people on this platform always assume that we are kids and agemates. When i left the university maybe you were not even born . |
W oluwafemi113:We don't need this kind of unconfirmed information at this point in our history please, what is really the motive behind this?Let always strive to build up our nation!!! |
efilefun:I feel he should not be given any appointment for now,so that it does not seem like there was a deal between him and APC before the election |
My take on this is that Gen Buhari has shown that he understands the current dynamics of the Nigerian state and as such has exhibited experience and statemanship by his utterances and body language since he won the election.Thats why they said that you cant buy experience and I implore all Nigerians to tow the line of peace and move this nation forwatd. Its very wrong at this point to be talking about who voted for Buhari or who voted Jonathan because such considerations will not lead us to anywhere good. The Southeast that voted President Jonathan did so not because Jonathan did anything tangible for them but primarily because their Governors mostly are from PDP like Enugu,Ebonyi,Abia and Anambra is APGA but adopted PDP presidential candidate so it was not out of tribal consideration. The south south should naturally support their Son President Jonathan. This particular election should not be taken as a zero sum game where the winner takes it all. The Niger delta Militants shoud not be taken for granted because within the 5 years of President Jonathan's reign, many of the militants have amassed stupendous wealth that could be used to cause problems and also a lot of them have also been trained in piloting aircrafts etc and most recently one of them was given a contrct to supply gunboats and warships to the Nigerian navy. These are just the few developments that we know and only God knows the hidden ones. This was how boko haram started and we all felt that we could just squash them up till things took a wrong dimension. It also took a fellow northerner like Gen buhari in the person of Late Alhaji Musa yaradua to. make peace with this same militants before peace returned to that region. Lets tow the line of peace because we cant afford another disruption at this point of our history. |
delightful1:I guess fayose is busy with the 19 APC legislators in his state |
ekitikan:I guess you got my point.you are either being mischievous or you are trying to prove an unnecessary point.we all know which food we refer to as swallow |
chibabe3:Ngige needed to have worked harder to win his election after all,he is the incumbent. He is also responsible for the current state of APC in Anambra state because he is the pioneer of ACN that metamorphosied to APC.He could not grow the party and didn't allow any big wig to come near.Life is a gamble, sometimes you win and sometimes you loose. Its not a do or die issue after all the southwest had nothing from 1st position in Nigeria till about 6th since 2011 till date and they endured. If APC will ever do well in Anambra, then Ngige will have to loosen his grip on the party for other bigwigs to come in and support him if not He will continue to contend with a lot of opposition from young billionaires that have lots of resources to frustrate the growth of the party. |
psalmlolese:Most people posting here are either not students of history or they are very young. Lagos was our Federal Capital and as such Nigerian resources were deployed to develop it to the level that it was till when the capital was moved to Abuja.Lagos was therefore built up by all Nigerians irrespective of tribe or tongue. We really need to grow up as a people to know that Democracy is a game of numbers and not any other consideration and as such we must begin to think about how to gather the numbers and not be here playing tribal politics that won't take us anywhere. If you notice, for as long as the Yoruba's played the tribal politics with their AD,Afenifere etc.Igbo's APGA .Ohaneze and Hausa's CPC ,Arewa etc nothing happened with the opposition for 16years till they realised the futility of tribal politics and formed APC,They are currently on the verge of making history of dislodging an incumbent President for the first time in Nigeria.Tribalism is outdated in modern Nigeria so let's grow up. |
Oduduwaboy:You are the bigger FOOL!!!Allow the voting process to be concluded and stop throwing tantrums like a kid. I guess you must be a motor park boy,if not you would have known that sane societies thrive only on law and order!!!.If you can't respect a political process, why be part of it ab initio? You are part of the problems of this Country. I am not a politician,so don't think I am being partisan.I am talking as a bonafide Nigerian with a stake in this nation. |
APC is just heating up the polity. They gave a vote of confidence to JEGA and also the card readers!!!Why not allow JEGA finalise this election properly. This intimidation is just getting too much on Nigerians plse. |
Bibilically speaking, the only condition attached to obtaining forgiveness is that we must be remorseful and sincerely ask God for forgiveness and resolve never to go back to the sin again. If you do that,it says that God will not only forgive but will forget about the sin. God will never give and add sorrow to it.If God gave you salvation,he will never add the sorrow of a bleak future without your certificates. We can never qualify for God's mercy if your attempt to return the certificate is to merit God's mercy ,its not possible because our righteousness is like filthy rag before God. Forgive yourself because God has already forgiven you but resolve genuinely to live for God going forward. |
adora4u1:Most people I guess are not against the fact that she travelled but I think its the fact that she is flaunting the travel pictures in their faces on an election day that is supposed to be solemn and serous that is the issue here. |
The card readers are currently failing in so many locations that INEC finally ordered that locations with the challenge should do the accreditation manually. This is according to Channels television now. I remember when this issue was raised some few weeks ago,it was politicised so much that INEC could not do a proper review of the card reader in other not to be viewed as taking sides. I had always thought that technology as advanced as the current card reader deployed by INEC,should have been test run with any of the gubernatorial elections in Nigeria before approving for it to be used on the national level. |
This is very exemplary!!! Inspite of PDP's reservations on the use of card readers,President Jonathan still displayed statesmanship even to the detriment of his own election. When Gov Fashola did not get his PVC on time,I remember how much noise he made. Let's always put Nigeria first in all we do |
To me,this is not exemplary. You are merely putting your kids in religious confusion. My take is,if you love a man enough to marry him then you must marry everything that comes with him. You have done it successfully I perceive but you should not flaunt it as if you are a role model in such issues. |
Yomieluv:This Guy said that he has done everything to see Tinubu but all to no avail.Sometimes in life, you just need to take your chance when it comes. The Guy to me is really a good party man that has fought for his party and he is disappointed that he has not been encouraged in anyway inspite of his travails with PDP.Our politician's must be smart enough to know when to convert opportunities like this to a stepping stone. That to me is the beauty of democracy!!! |
Very childish insinuation and an agenda from the pit of hell!!! |
Lets know what eventually happened, this cant be the final situation. |
UrennaNkoli:I am alarmed that a citizen of Nigeria will call a sitting President a FOOL!!!how low can we sink as a people in the name of politics. I strongly feel you must be very young and therefore does not understand the implication of your posting. But I strongly feel that you should learn to process an information before you put it to a public domain. We have a proverb that'if you call your father a fool, then you are the daughter of a fool' |
This is a very difficult situation because i am sure that when those creatures were sighted today, the first thing that came to everybody's mind will be a creeping fear! and then imaginations will go wild on what will happen if any of the students is attacked and killed. At that point, nobody will remember anything about extinction etc Everybody will just be on survival mode. I personally believe that there is need to preserve rare species of animals etc but i also feel that when we are not sure of what an animal is,to be on the safe side we need to kill them first.A human life is worth more than an animal anytime anywhere. |
I personally feel that Nollywood digged their grave ,the very day they allowed African magic to air their movies for free.I cant remember the last time we bought nollywood movies in my house and same goes for most Nigerian homes. I strongly feel that its not too late to correct this anomaly because MNET can still be made to pay the appropriate pricing for the nollywood content if the leadership of nollywood wakes up from their current slumber. The major advantage nollywood has over MNET is that MNET cannot afford to yank off the afican magic channels at this point because of the followership ,so nollywood can actually capitalise on that to get a very good deal for themselves on their movies. I also noticed that MNET is currently trying to develop their own short movies and i believe that if nollywood has gotten their acts together,MNET will naturally pay them to produce movies for them instead of doing it themselves. |
olaideeeedris:I don't think there is any sorrow to dance away!!After 5 years in Aso Rock villa.Even if they loose, they have done well for themselves What about you?Have you been in Aso Rock even for a full day yourself?Don't get carried away with the political propaganda of the season. Give honour to whom its due, only God can make a king. |
