Is just so easy and cheap to criticize every effort made to turn things around in Nigeria,but I sincerely believe that God will not send Angels to turn things around in Nigeria.Nuhu Ribadu is one of the best we have around and like every human being he has his faults but we could not take away the fact that He loves this nation and he has contributed most significantly to the fight against corruption in Nigeria.I think GEJ deserves some commendation for the courage he has displayed in appointing Ribadu for this job.
Let's pray for Nuhu Ribadu that God will give him the courage to be steadfast and bold in handling this very difficult and sensitive appointment

If they live in Nigeria where You run generators in your Office and homes a minimum of 12hours a day each,I guess they will be able to appreciate things better.
We have a government who have resigned themselves  to fate and have clearly told me that they have no capacity to check the fraudulent practices in the oil sector and hence I should continue to use my hard earned money from my personally financed business to continue tp Pago IDE this daylight robbery while they hands off and use the savings made to finance their five star lifestyle.
The issues are simple
1 If our crude oil is refined in Nigeria,we will eliminate the following cost; freight cost of taking the crude abroad,freight cost of bringing fuel back,import duty on refined fuel etc
2 The same govt that wants to save 1.3tr from so called fuel subsidy is projecting to spend about 1tr on security in 2012
3 The Government Officials have clearly not shown any leadership in this Cost saving initiative been brandies about by them.
4 The finance Minister in 2006 when they paid off our external debt to our creditors in the amount of $12b,promised that the savings we will get from the money we previously used to service the debts will be used for infrastructure and where are the infrastructures.
5 Finally there is no provision for subsidy in 2012 budget and so where is Fed Govt going to get the money to finance the Kolade led subsidy commission that is saddled with the responsibility of providing palliatives.
The truth is that our Govt is very irrational and unreasonable and as Nigerians We are free to take any route we like to make sure government listens

Don't even think of exporting at all because the conditions you have to meet to be able to export from Nigeria is almost impossible.
I tried to export some locally manufactured goods to Africa but it was impossible,part of the requirement was that I must get a letter from the manufacturer stating that he is authorising me to export the products.This is just one of the numerous conditions,it's very sad because Nigeria industries should have been able to expand their capacities through exports to other African Countries

America currently is in trouble,no nation or individual should be applauded for sustaining a flashy lifestyle with borrowed funds.America currently has amassed so much debt that the present generation of Americans cannot pay off in their lifetime. The current stalemate in America is just about whether the government should be allowed to borrow more or not, that to me doesn't sound like a scenario that should be celebrated.
If America wants to continue to dominate the financial world,they must go back to productive activities and immediately suspend further outsourcing of jobs to China and India.
It is only a nation that produces more than it imports that will make impact in the future.

Just like it did last Sunday,it is raining heavily again in ikeja part of Lagos since 2pm today and I just tried to drive to my friends place but everywhere is flooded so I just went back home.I am just very worried that we may be having a repeat of the flooding incident so I just want people to be careful of where they go today. if it is raining in your area,can you just feed us all back on the intensity of the rain in your area to assist everyone plan their movement.
