How does a leader put his picture on the national identity of a country? How do you explain reasons without sounding insane.
Never in the history of mankind has such happened, and coming from a president who ranks in top 3 with the LOWEST APPROVAL RATING since the existence of the USA.

This is the funniest comment... How can one even conceive that Iran is winning, do you even know what Iran lost? ResidentSnitch: I know the game Trump is trying to play. He's trying to end the war on a high note for US since he knows every reasonable feels that US has so far lost the whole debacle with Iran. Trump's ego may actually force him to attack Iran and of course, he would be hailed by some unthinking heads. At the end of the day, it would be yet another country that US attacked and US finally lost. |

malali: This is why Nigeria will always move backwards. We are slowly watching an individual capture the whole energy sector of a country.
This refinery was built on subsidized dollars from Nigerian CBN. This dollars were subsidized by all Nigerians. It was built at 350 naira to a dollar.
Now that 1 dollar is 1500naira. Nobody can build a refinery of that size in Nigeria. And no foreign investor will come to Nigeria and build a refinery. Because you cannot compete with one built at a cheaper 350 naira to 1 dollar.
Now this new puppet NMDPRA CEO will dance to Dangote's tune and petrol supply will be monopolized by him.
In a country like China, if Government gives you subsidized dollars and import waivers a portion of that refinery say 30-40% will be nationalized. It will be owned by the people. Because Nigerians revenue was used to subsidize the dollars.
Dangote built the refinery at 350 Naira to 1 dollar but will now sell petrol at 1500naira to 1 dollar......Do you see the scam ?
We cannot use corruption to fight corruption. This is one of those reasons I wish Naira land has DISLIKE button. |

Christianity Etc › A Sign And A Wonder- Early Days by CivilAboki(op): 9:11am On Jul 29, 2024 |
This would be my first time posting my testimonies publicly. I thought to share to encourage someone. This is a series of testimonies I would be sharing on different threads. Thank you.
Early Days: Knowledge, Wisdom, and Understanding
I grew up as a dull kid academically, and very timid. I could not read or write up to Primary 6. I always came last in my class, and the best I did was second to the last. I learned how to spell my name in Primary 3. You may wonder how I kept progressing. To me, it's because there weren't strict rules for repeating a class, plus the fact that I am a twin. It was like a taboo for us not to be in the same class, and my twin was doing well academically.
Growing up, we never missed church on Sundays or during mid-week services and other programs. This exposure to spirituality made me believe that anything I wanted, God would give me if I prayed. I always prayed to God for knowledge, wisdom, and understanding. That was always my prayer point in church, asking God to teach me how to read so that I could read the Bible. I was filled with a hunger for God at that tender age. During these times, God showed me what I believed to be glimpses of angels, usually standing behind me. When I turned, I would catch a glimpse of their white clothing.
In 2001, when I finished Primary 5 and was about to enter Primary 6, a week before the resumption date, I was lying in bed feeling too weak to get up. All my siblings were out doing chores, and for some reason, no one woke me up, not even my parents. Then, like in a trance or vision, something started teaching me how to read, using just two words: GOOD and GOD. No words were spoken, but I understood perfectly. If I were to guess, it lasted less than five minutes. Immediately, I felt I could read. I stood up from my bed and went straight to the parlor to find something to read. I saw a calendar of FSP with a picture of Maryam Abatcha, which was glued to our parlor wall. At the top of the calendar was a 15-letter word written boldly: CONGRATULATIONS. To my own amazement, I effortlessly read the word. I was excited, and that was the beginning of my journey.
A week later, school resumed, and I was in Primary 6. My siblings and I were transferred to a new campus of our school closer to home, so I had new classmates who didn't know me.
On the day we resumed, we were given an exercise to write a composition on how we spent our holiday. Ideas flowed effortlessly as I wrote words I had never known how to spell. To my surprise, some of my classmates came to copy my work or ask me to spell certain words, and everything just flowed.
After the exams at the end of the first term, I came seventh in my class (the number of perfection). From there, it was from glory to glory.
I later wrote the common entrance exams and passed, possibly scoring the highest among my classmates, and gained admission to a unity school.
This could only be God. God taught me to read and write. He gave me knowledge, wisdom, and understanding. HALLELUJAH. |

Family › Re: I Have Arrested My Wife by CivilAboki: 6:58pm On Dec 07, 2022 |
CLATHRIN: There are situations in life that require wisdom. The Bible says that wisdom is better than gold and rubies. I have also read your story about the horrible experience you had with your immediate family. Your wife has spent time with you and she knows how deeply hurt and damaged you are as a person. You must realize that betrayal from people closest to us do so much damage to our philosophy about life. You have had difficult life issues and these experiences can't be wished away like that. You didn't get counselling or at least some spiritual a d emotional healing that you needed. Did that woman not make any attempt to plead/apologize to you? All you could do was to look at those weary and teary eyes, pick your phone and call the police.
MY ADVICE: you have said it here repeatedly in so many ways that your wife is a good woman. Proverbs 31 talks about a virtuous woman. In the office yesterday, I was having a conversation with a senior colleague, he told me to ensure that my happiness is not dependent on others and that the best I can do is to forgive. Putting that woman in prison has hurt her as much as your daughter and yourself have been hurt. The juvenile brother of her's messed up but don't forget, you said he's 14. That should be significant in this case. Your reaction was from a deep place of hurt. The woman you jailed will be damaged for this I assure you. I don't know how you will transition from the place of anger to the place of remorse and soberness. From fury to contriteness. Look your family is damaged by this singular action you probably mishandled. For her to trust you now will be so hard. Same of you, you can hardly trust her. The best is to rely on God now to mend this family that the devil chose to torment. Firstly, go and bail her now, not next week, call her mother and let others, even your closest family members wade into this. Pray hard and be humble before the Lord. To find a good woman is not so easy, trust me. God gave you one, stay with her. She probably didn't do what she did with mischief in mind. You admitted she suffered because of it and the best you could do was to be vengeful? Spiteful? That's horrible. She would imagine what she's been doing all these years with you. You can't even get that woman's emotions again. For now, it will take God to heal your family but I pray He does, start from a place of humility. Make the right moves and realize that the devil is aftwr something good in your life. Your wife and child are those good things, if you can make sacrifices to have them back, do so. God bless you and see you through. OP I strongly recommend you read, digest and act accordingly. May the Almighty help you. |

Where did you get your information from? Let me tell you a fact, you see all those projects being flaunted on social media as Zulum's projects are 90% Kashim's so please don't be deceived by social media or rather don't mislead people. DaddyFreeze2020: Both Tinubu and Shettima are capitalising on the efforts of their successors to campaign for Presidency.
Tinubu capitalises on Fashola and Ambode's efforts to develop Lagos State while Shettima is using Gov. Zulum's projects in Borno State.
Many of the projects in Lagos State BAT campaign team uses to campaign for BAT were not developed by Bola Tiinubu. That's the same campaign template Shettima wants to also use. |

- Abraham referred to his supposed wife Hagar as his wife's slave, not her concubine nor his wife. - Hagar was referred as a SLAVE by the angel of the lord, not as his wife. - Hagar said she was running away from her MISTRESS, not her supposed concubine (which she would be if she was indeed married to Abraham) - how can a man have a wife but refer to her as a SLAVE?!?!?!? you guys make no damn sense! - how can a supposed wife (Hagar) be openly mistreated by her concubine?! you guys make NO SENSE! |

Again the north is more accommodating not like the south where you can't trust each other. Nowenuse: Southerners are actually far far more patriotic than the core-northerners. You guys actually deserve so much more and far better than this country called Nigeria. This is pure ignorance. Anyways may testimony never cease from our lives in Jesus Name So that we will share to the world to see the wonder workings of our God sweetmelanin: I understand the sentiment and I know how terrifying it is to almost lose a loved one. I'm glad your wife could survive this terrible illness called cancer but I need Christians to be careful when telling "testimonies" such as this..
..don't get me wrong, I'm a Christian myself but the truth is, I just find testimonies like this kinda selfish and self-serving. Millions of Christians die everyday... many are even more righteous than you and me..would you say they aren't true believers? Would you say God doesn't love them as much as he loves you and your wife? What about the millions of unbelievers who have survived cancer and other deadly diseases? Did God choose to save them over His own children who succumbed to the illness and died?
All I'm saying is, people (believer or non believer) will die at their appointed time. Perhaps it's simply not your wife's time return to the earth.. Nonetheless, I'm happy for you guys all the same.
