Oga go to the fire stations and see that there is borehole there. They even have deep well. They call it reserve so be sure b4 you talk. I'm not supporting the evil men in power bcs I'm sure Peter Obi bought fire fighting equipments. Tell Obiano to tell us why the equipment's are not functioning. The man Obiano is drawing Anambra state back. He's a drunkard, we all know this.

Literate miscreant, as I told you earlier, Obi made sure he cleared Anambra debts before he left office. As you have access to documents, show us documents from dmo about Anambra debt immediately obi left office or rather Anambra debt profile during this drunkard first year in office.

QuotaSystem:
Lies. He never said that.

He clearly said "anyone that finished school 53 years ago could be pardoned if he didn't know where he kept his certificates". That was in 2015 & he was clearly laying emphasis on the length of time, and not "begging for forgiveness".

Because they were bombarded with queries from the opposition, Cambridge International Assessments in 2019 issued a statement certifying PMB's Waec participation and results.

TITOPE:
http://www.titopeblog.com/2019/08/el-zakzaky-real-reason-shiites-leader.html

Nigerian Government has reacted to the sudden return of the leader of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria, IMN, otherwise known as Shittes, Ibrahim El-Zakzaky from his medical trip to India.

We reported earlier that the Islamic leader abandoned India after he forbade the doctors from treating him and his wife.

Zakzaky and his wife arrived Nigeria at noon on Friday and was picked up by the operatives of the Department State Services.

In a statement to us on Friday, signed by Grace Isu Gekpe, Permanent Secretary, Federal Ministry of Information and Culture, the Federal Government said it “wishes to inform the public about the latest development in the Ibraheem El-zakzaky medical trip controversies to India.

“The Government notes with dismay the acts of misconduct exhibited by El-zakzaky that necessitated his repatriation.

“The earlier statement of 14th August 2019 by the Government addressed the issues that would have raised some questions with the latest occurrences and particularly the uncelebrated return of El-zakzaky from India.

“The public may note that El-Zakzaky’s actions in India demonstrated malicious intents that were capable of embarrassing the Governments of Nigeria and India.

“With total disrespect and complete loss of decorum for international procedures while in India, he initiated contacts with a team of lawyers led by Ali Zia Kabir Chaudary and Gunjan Singh in that country.

“He also contacted some Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs), such as the Islamic Human Rights Commission (IHRC) and other Shiite groups. His aim was to seek asylum and eventually relocate to another country.

“It is important to note that if an Indian court had granted El-zakzaky asylum or leave to travel to another country, it would have violated the Nigerian court order that granted him permission to travel for medical treatment.

“However, he used the opportunity of being in India to attempt to internationalise his cause by mobilising the Rights groups. Even most unfortunate and rather embarrassing as earlier stated, was his quest to be relocated to a 5-Star hotel to receive visitors instead of being admitted in the hospital as a sick person he claimed to be.

“In spite of his misconduct, El-zakzaky’s spouse went further to antagonize the Indian and Nigerian security agents and accused the latter of killing her children. These acts were aimed at winning international sympathy as well as disparaging the Nigerian Government.

“Having subordinated the quest for medical treatment to other ulterior motives, it became obvious that El-zakzaky was focused on realising some sinister motives THUS THE DECISION TO RETURN HIM TO NIGERIA.”

Another issue is that I don't think I'm really ready to settle down cos I really need to hustle and make money to help my family if I eventually travel before marrying and I intend on doing a course here in Nigeria for Digital Marketing to help me secure a nice job.

My problem now is, I'm scared of marrying someone who has acquired these loans cos Las Las na me go still follow pay wetin I no sabi.

Please, I need a clear guide on what I should do cos I don't wanna be selfish here with her by using her to get to the USA, I'm very willing to let go of her if I have very good reasons to.

Why is it that pdp didn't enact such law when they were in power? Nonsense and ingredient

Amarachi1990:
Opposition parties and some concerned groups have called on the National Assembly to enact a law that will compel the President to attach portfolios to ministerial nominees’ list sent to the Senate for confirmation. Thickmatch.com Reports''

They stated that it was proper and ideal for the President to attach portfolios to ministerial nominees to enable the Senate to properly screen the nominees and ascertain their competence and appropriateness.

Members of the opposition who spoke separately to our correspondent on Friday were the Peoples Democratic Party through its National Publicity Secretary, Mr Kola Ologbondiyan; spokesperson for the African Democratic Congress, Mrs Yemi Kolapo; her counterpart in the Social Democratic Party, Alfa Mohammed; and the Coalition for United Political Parties’ spokesman, Imo Ugochinyere.

According to them, the resolution of the Senate asking the President to attach portfolios to ministerial list for confirmation can be seen as advisory since it is not in the constitution.

They stated that a law should be enacted to make it mandatory for the President to attach portfolios to the ministerial nomination list before the Senate could confirm the nominees.

Ologbondiyan said, “They do not have any law except if they provide for an Act of Parliament for that requirement for President to attach portfolios to his ministerial list, the executive can just take it (Senate resolution) as an advisory. If they sponsor a bill to that effect, and the President signs it into an act, it becomes a law that is binding since the constitution does not provide that.”

Kolapo also stressed the importance of knowing which ministries had been attached to certain nominees.

She said, “Are the Executive’s nominees supposed to just take a bow before the Legislature? How would there be proper scrutiny to determine the capabilities of the nominees vis-a-vis their prospective portfolios? I think we need to impress it on the Legislature that they can’t start on a wrong footing. They need to prove their independence and loyalty to the masses and not the Executive.”

PoliticsRe: Expect More Increase In Electricity Bill – NERC by cjfavour(m): 3:43pm On May 04, 2018
ezekielenejeta:
Nigeria Electricity Regulatory Commission (NERC) Chairman Prof. James Momoh yesterday vowed to review the prevailing electricity tariff.

Speaking with reporters after the Minister of Power, Works and Housing, Babatunde Fashola inaugurated him in Abuja, he said the commission would look into the computation of the tariff.
He said: “The tariff is not a challenge you cannot solve. It happened, you learnt something about it last week. You don’t have to relearn the same lesson today.

“You should be able to ask question–what are we going to do tomorrow to avoid the problem?. There is what you call data science in the new thinking of the world, where we collect data, you learn from the information and you predict the future. So if we don’t do that, we are wasting our time. Because you know it is going to rain tomorrow so you get your umbrella. You don’t wait until it rains before you go by umbrella.”

Momoh added: “We have no choice; we have to look at what computes a tariff. Tariff is not a guesswork. There is a calculation you do to get there.”

He said he believed in team work for quick wins, adding that some of the quick wins should be what the commission could do in terms of estimated billings and how to ensure that it gets enough data to convince customers to pay for the power they use.

Momoh said: “If we remain the same, and we remain static, and we are not solving real problem, we will just be doing fire brigade promise. The GenCos will always tell you there is a blackout without knowing why.

“You are going to ask question why. I know why, because I know the Mathematics behind it, I know the Physics behind it. I know also the Economics behind it. If we are able to teach people to know why things go wrong, perhaps, we learn from our mistakes,” he said.

Momoh, who said the industry should anticipate problems, insisted that “we look back, we use lessons of yesterday to solve tomorrow’s problem.”

Earlier, Fashola said observers would admit that power supply has increased since 2015, submitting that “without a doubt, we have increased generation to 7000Mw, increasing the transmission to over 7,000Mw, and increasing the distribution from 2,690 to average of 4,900 or 5,000.”

He said the electricity market has a capacity of 2,000Mw that has been stranded, which the ministry is working to distribute before this year end.

According to him, the NESI has a new stock of 459Mw underway from Azura that has notified him on the completion of its plant and its readiness to commence operation.

Momoh said the sector is expecting another 240Mw from Afam and another 215Mw from Kaduna. Besides, he noted that the market is also expecting power from Kashimbilla, “but the distribution end is where our challenge lies.”

Fashola said the mini-grid regulation has started yielding results, and the ministry is already seeing the impacts in the market.

He said this year, markets such as Suru in Lagos, Sabon Gari in Kano, Ariria in Aba, and some other markets are going to be energised.

Fashola noted that since the completion of the privatisation of the sector, the size of the ministry has shrunk from the previous staff strength of the 50,000 to less than 1,000.

Go and educate yourself and stop displaying politically driven ignorance. There is nothing wrong in importing high nutrient grass seedlings for cultivation in Nigeria which has the capacity to explosively multiply both beef and milk production. Grass is not grass, read the freaking article first before you jump into comments; this is standard agricultural practice all over the world and this is the reason people spend years in universities and research institutes studying agriculture. You cannot expect progress when you continue practising archaic agric methods and this is the difference that has always separated Africa from the developed.
You're funny. Which grass are the cows we have in Nigeria today eating? Is it not the same grass we have in the country? Or did they import the one you're advocating and placed them on the way? I've said it before that to you people, knowing about politics is lying so to me I'm not a politician. I stand on truth and nothing else.
