daylife7:Bro, Nigeria will continue like it has always been since 1960....almost a failed state The only people i feel pity for are those that invest their life savings in other hostile regions in their fake belief that Nigeria is one or may eventually become one. They will be the biggest losers for their foolishness. |
ClassCaptain:Shehu Yaradua was never president. He was a coupist. It was his younger brother Umaru Yaradua that was our beloved President. |
Northerners should find oil and go PLEASE! Fulani people have caused so much destruction to the Nigerian nation simply out of a desire to cheat and corner the Niger Delta oil. May be if they have their own oil and of course flatly refuse any southerner owning any oil well in the north, they will understand the plight of the Niger Delta. |
Please why is the tension? Abookis and Arewa youths always tell southern leaders to shut up. besides, this is a democracy. The Emir of Katsina should also SHUT UP! They are all bloody Fulani bigots gradually killing Nigeria |
I am a southerner and I AM PRAYING The north should discover its oil and LEAVE US ALONE. Although, i don't think there is any oil in the arid north. However, Fulani people and their greed have turned Nigeria into a horrible cesspit of corruption and nepotism. If Fulani can just discover their oil and leave, we will be blessed. At best, the north will be like Chad with oil. Nonetheless, with the present crop of northern leaders who have looted Nigeria from independence, it is obvious they will loot their oil wealth and become even poorer than they are right now. |
let abooki discover oil. But, Will southerners be allowed to own even one oil well in the north?....... talk more of owning 95% of them? Abooki should think about this to realize why their greed in the south is so unacceptable. |
Please don't insult GEJ by equating him to the murderous Fulani herdsman called Buhari |
lordkit2:If abookis find oil, they will want to break up, but they know better that they need access to the sea. Therefore, abooki will not ask for break up of Nigeria if they find oil. They will simply agree overnight to apply true federalism and 100% resources control. They will totally forbid sharing any penny of their oil wealth with the south. ....,..Not minding that they are using the southern oil money to do the exploration right now. |
Bihari to the rescue. ![]() Ba turechi! ![]() |

Oga Ogbe, You are still relying on "HOPE" to run our economy competently. Okay o! Keep Hoping..... ![]() If you like don't advise the dulllard in Aso Rock killing our economy to get capable hands instead of tribal loyalists. Keep hoping until N1,000 mark is reached, then you begin Hoping" against the N2,000 naira exchange rate. Can our soldiers just save us? |
![]() So, With all the economic problems facing Nigeria, all the security issues and the real prospect of a civil war breaking out if the army make good their promise to kill Niger Deltans ...international companies, airlines are leaving Nigeria etc..... Buhari's biggest headache is how to create jobs for uneducated Daura youths through the WAI brigade? Those that brought this dulllard on Nigeria will never see anything good in their lives. |
RRoyaId:Dude, Posting these despicable pictures of more than 10 years ago and calling it Owerri is a shameful conduct by you. Even if you don't like Abagworo, respect the great people of Imo state. By the way, that Assumpta Cathedral roundabout area is now world class! I passed there last week on my way from Onitsha to PH. |
DabuIIIT:He has nothing to say. The truth is so bitter. Northerners prefer Niger Republic or Chad to their fellow southern compatriots. Stealing southern OIL money is the ONLY reason northern Nigeria agrees to be part of Nigeria. |
In an era where civil servants cannot be paid, capital projects cannot be funded, hunger is widespread as many Nigerians cannot afford basic food stuff........ Buhari's priority is to spend $25 million dollars subsiding Hajj? Nigeria is truly in deep trouble. |
Nigeria’s government will offer a concessionary exchange rate to more than 65,000 Muslim citizens intending to make the pilgrimage to Saudi Arabia this year, even as the country turns to borrowing to plug a budget gap. A preferred foreign-exchange rate of 197 per dollar will apply for pilgrims’ travel allowances of $750 to $1,000, the Central Bank of Nigeria said on its website. That compares with an interbank rate of 319.25 per dollar at the close of Friday or the black market rate, which weakened this week to almost 400 per dollar. Presidential spokesman Femi Adesina declined to confirm the full amount allocated by the government for the subsidy. Vanguard newspaper reported Saturday that the total cost would be as much as 7.9 billion naira ($25 million), citing its own calculations. This compares with 2.4 billion naira last year, the newspaper said. The subsidy was met with criticism on Twitter and online forums by Nigerians who questioned the government’s priorities. Africa’s biggest economy presented a 6.1 trillion budget for 2016 and intends to borrow abroad to help plug a 2.2 trillion naira gap. The economy shrank by 0.4 percent in the first quarter and may contract 1.8 percent this year, according to the International Monetary Fund. Negative Reactions “We have presently problems in funding of so many issues in Nigeria, like education, and even paying salaries,” said Kunle Famoriyo, spokesman for the Afenifere Renewal Group, a body representing the political and cultural interests of the Yoruba, one of the three main ethnic groups in Nigeria. Subsidizing any religious pilgrimage is “not economically ok,” in particular in the current context, he said on the phone from Ibadan. Adesina declined to comment on the negative reactions when reached by phone Saturday. Another presidential spokesman, Garba Shehu, said on Twitter that the exchange rate of 197 naira per dollar was approved by President Muhammadu Buhari about three months ago, before the new foreign-exchange regime came into being. The official rate was 197 until June 20, when a 15-month peg to the greenback was lifted. The rate has been approved for both Christian and Muslim pilgrimages this year, Shehu said Friday via Twitter. The central bank said in an Aug. 4 circular that it will sell dollars to designated lenders in the cities of Lagos and Abuja, who won’t charge pilgrims buying the currency. http://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2016-08-06/nigeria-subsidizes-hajj-pilgrims-with-concessionary-dollar-rate |
Kai ! If the oil belong to Abooki? They would make sure NO southern state will benefit one penny from it. Instead, Abooki would use their oil to sponsor terrorism in Nigeria and Islamization of Africa in general. |
Aisha Buhari is a shameless criminal. She knows using a diplomatic passport confers immunity from arrest in a foreign country with diplomatic presence in Nigeria. Why did she run away from USA since FBI named her as an accomplice in the Louisiana Congressman William Jefferson bribery case? ...........and ONLY visited when her husband is now President of Nigeria and she can use a diplomatic First Lady passport? Aisha will still have her day in a US court. Somehow, she will be captured and brought to USA after Buhari presidency is over. |

The Poor Igbo guy has lost his life for a country that treats him as second class citizen? Chai! |
The bomb thrower in chief should bomb and kill innocent people. But he should know that for every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction. Nigeria is long over due for an open conflict against Fulanis. Every one of them from Herdsmen, to the ones in Shell or NNPC to the one in Aso rock is a legitimate target. |
Waiting on Buhari and lie Muhammed to tell me they were referring to a village called Nigeria near Tikrit, Iraq. ![]() |
Buhari is a bloody HYPOCRITE! He says whatever will make him sound like a saint. However, he is shameless and does not care to do the exact opposite of what he preaches. |
ENDTIMELIFE: Buhari is a corrupt HYPOCRITE! |
Animals in government. ![]() I thought they said anyone can manage the economy? They brought all sorts of characters to manage Nigeria's economy. Thinking managing the economy is merely about sharing monthly allocation and oil money. After irreparable damages have been wrecked they finally know it makes sense to get experts? Illiteracy is indeed a curse! ![]() |
Whenever laid down rules and protocol are violated for personal gains, it is corruption. For Buhari to violate the federal character principle so that mainly northerners especially fulani occupy all federal positions is undoubtedly corruption. The truth is that Buhari does not care. He is only concerned with taking care of fulanis and using the word 'corruption' to hound and neutralize opposition to his tyranny. |
If buhari wants to die prematurely, let him attempt to probe IBB. |
Mr Buhari will be seething in anger that he cannot kidnap and murder the journalist that wrote the exposé on him. Well Nigerians already knew Buhari is a sectional bigot that has aggravated the tension in the country through reckless nepotism and discrimination against southerners from the southeast and south south as well as Christians in general. |
dainformant:Abeg wetin the pathological liar dey do in Enugu? They should meet in Daura. After all, the entire federal civil servants and appointees are now from Daura. |
leghagha:I hope boys acquire good anti aircraft guns and position them in a triangular position to shoot those toys down. |
NO NIGERIAN would quarrel with Buhari if he truly fought corruption. Mr Buhari is an anti-corruption hypocrite! He condones corruption when it is perpetrated by his friends and associates and suddenly realize he is an anti-corruption czar if it involves his political enemies. |
Johnlenoxx:My Oyinbo friend, So, all the way from Alabama into this slaughterhouse forum of Nigerian politics? Do you know very angry Nigerians come here to vent their spleen? If you are not CIA or FBI, then you must be the most "unusual" Americana i have ever encountered. ![]() |
