Delfarm
You don't have to answer the Afonja claiming he came back from Aguleri. To begin with, is the farm in Aguleri? They do not know because they are not from the state.

Anyhow, these farms should consider new improved varieties. Part of what makes farming unprofitable in Africa is using the ancient variety which were a chance pollination. Just like chickens now lay more eggs than the traditional village chickens, there are improved seedlings available now

In Tanzania they boosted banana production by 300% by using the improved higher yield variety. FHIA. These farms can produce beeter tomatoes, cassava, potatoes, yam etc by using improved seedlings.

Nigeria will definitely be consumed by insurgency at some point. Those planning to protest anything in Nigeria now know the first step is to import means of defending yourself or you will be like IPOB.

You dont know what Obiano knows, you dont have the same vision that Obiano have, I believe there is always a first time for everything.

In the end those that criticize always bring nothing to the table
Exactly.

Most Africans are vision-less. They are merely concerned with eating food today and not thinking about how to cultivate and ensure food for the next day. That is partly why Africa looks the way it does. I support Obiano because he is one of the few breed of Africans that understand that if you fail to plan for a prosperous future and work hard to put in the critical elements to make your future successful, then you will be guaranteed to have a miserable life. Most of the projects Obiano is doing today will outlive him, yet he knows they are important and he is investing in them.

They are simply sharing the money for southeast roads amongst themselves and ofcourse Buhari allows them because he knows it's the hated 5%ers that are suffering most on those roads.

Anyhow, Buhari himself labelled the people of the zone 5%ers and told them in clear terms not to expect anything from his presidency. he went ahead and fulfilled his mean threat to the people. In many federal appointments of service chiefs and other key political appointments. If the constitution of Nigeria had not clearly stipulated that every state must have a minister or minster of state, there would have been zero ministerial appointment from the zone.

The truth is that we are waaay passed the evil Buhari era. it shall be read about in books and all the projects Buhari denied the zone will eventually be built after his wicked regime has ended. Buhari should leave the people alone and relocate the federal capital to daura to suit himself.

Na him sabi.
Politics › Re: As President Buhari Visits Ebonyi by Cjrane2:
Nweze1986:
AS PRESIDENT BUHARI VISITS EBONYI...

By Philip Nweze

President Muhammadu Buhari will, early next week, join Ebonyi state governor, Engineer David Umahi to commission some of the mega projects that have changed the face of governance in the state.

The visit is a testimony to the landmark achievements in the last two years of Governor David Umahi as well as the good working relationship between Ebonyi state and the Federal Government.

Ebonyians are looking forward with excitement to see the presidential motorcade grace the smooth roads in Ebonyi land which are some of the governor's legacy projects... To see Mr President step his feet on the rich agricultural destination called Ebonyi. To see him rate the governor's rich scorecard in all spheres of leadership.

Feelers from the governor's office reveals that the President will commission three numbers of twin flyovers that are built across the African transahara Road running from Enugu to Cameroon passing through Ebonyi State, built to decongest traffic on that road, each of the twin flyover measuring 700 metre length. The governor has completed two and the third one is 80% done. Another project that would receive presidential stamp is the famous Ebonyi mall that is modelled after the famous Dubai mall. President Buhari is expected to lay a foundation stone of that mall which he will also come back to commission within the next 12 months.

The state government is also building a tunnel that dovetails into a flyover that is parallel to the existing flyover at Akanu Ibiam junction. And Mr. President is also to lay the foundation stone and that flyover bridge will be named after him. This project has 12 months completion period. There is also a federal Road that is 14.5km that the governor got the consent of Mr. President to build and the road is fully done. Also fully ready for commissioning is the18.5km road leading to the Federal University, Ndufu Alike Ikwo which was done with concrete and overlaid with Asphalt.

Worthy of mention too is the 15.5km of Nigercem that road passes through the first cement factory in the country which is in Ebonyi State and connects to Benue. The 15.5 km in the axis of Ebonyi built with concrete isready for Mr. President to commission. 23.5km of state road which the governor built with concrete is equally ready for Mr. President to commission.

As of today Ebonyi state government has completed over 500 km of internal roads which is ready for Mr. President to commission. As an Ebonyian, I believe we have the stadium we remodeled as another evidence of good governance, we have the best VIP stands in the whole country in our stadium which is fully air conditioned and all the stands are fully covered. Mr. President will also commission that.

Governor Umahi has also given a nod to a minimum of 30km of concrete Road in each of the 13 local government areas of the state; with most of them completed while some have attained 80% completion. There's the water fountain innovations, the mushrooms factory, the waist recycling plant, numerous Agric projects like the Solar farm and the green house farm at Ezzamgbo, the one man one hectare agriculture concept and so on. The governor has breathed life into major federal roads that were once death traps.

This grandmaster of infrastructure deserves accolades for his achievements. He has done everything that needed to be done by anybody occupying this position for eight years.

Governor David Umahi has not just developed Ebonyi State. He has laid the foundation for the continuous development of the state.
Buhari is a shameless man. So he would actually go and carry scissors to commission the project built by the state governor and some LGA chairmen? While he cannot point to a broken bicycle wheel he mended as his own achievement in the zone.

Please someone should tell Buhari to come from Abuja and commission my own poultry and pig farm appropriately named after him. Buhari animal farm. Then he can give a sorry speech filled with fake promises of airconditioning the atmosphere and building a bridge connecting Ebonyi state to Abuja and refund everything spent on building federal roads, promises he has no intentions to honor and which he will not honor. Men, Buhari is a completely shameless brat we call president.

We have fallen to the lowest quality of human beings as President.

Some pipul will be crying right now and asking Buhari to release more army and police so that they can write more outrageous results next week.

Anambrarians, Please help make rigging elections in Nigeria through colluding with INEC to write results in Abuja a mission impossible !

Their next move now is to try to use army and Police to prevent people from coming into polling stations with their phones. Please, Make sure you hide your phones very well and bring them to your polling station to record the results.
Everyone should make sure their cell phone has video capability and bring it to the polling stations to video the whole results announcement at your polling stations and share it immediately to facebook,Whatsapp and youtube so that even it their Police and army take the phone, the message has already been shared.
Lets watch and see how those Abuja politicians that depend on INEC to win will write and announce their fake results this time around.

The worst mistake IPOB will make is to alienate the same people the claim to be fighting for their freedom to turn against them.

APC is pushing them to do exactly that knowing the IPOB cannot be defeated if the people are for them, but will be decimated once the people see them as part of their enemies. I don't think IPOB leadership is smaert enough to understand this delicate fact and it will prove decisive to the survival of IPOB.

Mark my words......YOU CANNOT HARM THE SAME PEOPLE YOU CLAIM TO BE FIGHTING FOR THEIR FREEDOM and survive as a grassroot movement !

You want APC to seize the state's treasury and loot it to finance Buhari who has not spent one penny of Federal Infrastructural budget in the zone?

There is no doubt that Willie Obiano has given a good account of the three years he has spent so far developing Anambra. Although many people quickly refer to infrastructural accomplishments as bridges and roads which Willie Obiano did so much within these three years despite the nationwide recession. I am more thrilled by his exploits in agriculture and using it to create gainful employment for youths who would otherwise have gone into crime. Rice, Sorghum are now grains produced in Anambra. Same effort has continued in poultry, fish farming, and other aspects of animal protein production for affordable food prices. I also don't want to mention his laudable achievements in primary, secondary and tertiary education including infrastructural development of the state university and the setting up of a second state university "Nwafor Orizu University of Education, Nsugbe" (NOUEN). His exploits in health sector with the upgrade of Ontsha General hospital into a State Specialist hospital, Full accreditation of the state university teaching hospital and building of 30 general hospitals in smaller towns in the state to improve healthcare and disease control in the state. Little wonder that inspite of Lassa Fever, Cerebral Meningitis, Cholera, diarrhea, among other communicable diseases that broke out in many states of Nigeria, Anambra was able to remain disease free and contained the few cases that happened in the state.

Those APC goons campaigning against no elections in Anambra through cleverly manipulating some IPOB members to stop elections have never said Obiano has failed. Instead, they say they are discouraging people to come out to vote. Their simple strategy being to use their own imported thugs from APC states to rig the Anambra polls. Let me state that Willie Obiano is not an average Nigeria politician. Before Peter Obi and Willie Obiano, Anambra recorded last in ALL development indices and was a den of criminals. Today, you cannot mention anything positive from economic growth to education to positive health outcomes without Anambra being in among the first 10 states! It is an impressive achievement!! So STOP peddling falsehoods that nothing has changed in Anambra for decades. We all know it is a big lie.

Part of the problem with Nigerians is refusing to participate and expecting things to magically change. I wonder how you can win a tournament match such as FIFA World cup if you simply decided not to play a match outside of FIFA rules and regulations.

Now apply the above analogy to boycotting an election where the rule does not say a Governorship election should in anyway affect how Nigeria is run. The law clearly allows the appointment of sole administrators to run states where an election is not possible. Perhaps Nnamdi Kanu is insensitive to this issue because he isn't from Anambra, but people from there who had seen schools closed for one due to non-payment of salaries and complete collapse of every infrastructure in the state will never wish to return to such nightmarish situation. Especially if their sacrifice will be meaningless in bringing any sort of change nationally unless it is perfomed simultaneously in 12 states and in a Presidential election.

Now to the plot by APC to somehow engineer a poor voters turnout so that people they hired from other states can vote and rig their former university cult leader into the Governor. We already know that only APGA selects the best candidates to rule any part of Igboland. The other parties for some strange reasons select the worst criminals and anti-social elements from Igboland to foist on Igbos as their leaders.

The so called IPOB plan to boycott gubernatorial Anambra elections was an unfortunate misunderstanding of what the constitution says. So it was ill thought out and flawed from the start. You have got to do things within what is possible within the law. There is NO WHERE in Nigerian constitution where it said if you failed to vote in a gubernatorial election, it would amount to any sort of constitutional issue for the country.

Nigeria's 1999 constitution did say that to become a PRESIDENT of Nigeria, you MUST have 25% of the votes in 24 STATES. This clause means that if you can prevent elections from holding in 12 or 13 states, you will create a constitutional problem that will make it impossible for anyone to be declared PRESIDENT based on the constitutional provision. To achieve No election in 12 states out of 17 states in southern Nigeria will require concerted collaboration between Afenifere, Ohaneze and other socio-political groups. Anambra ALONE cannot cause such national effect even in a Presidential election talkmore the misguided campaign to boycott a gubernatorial election.

TheTrueSeeker:
.We are rated the best in UN peace-keeping –Spokesman

Adelani Adepegba, Abuja

The World Internal Security and Police Index International has rated the Nigeria Police Force as the worst police organisation in the world.

WISPI, in its 2016 report, described the NPF as the worst globally in terms of its ability to handle internal security challenges.

The report showed that Singapore performed best on the index, followed by Finland, and then Denmark.

The report was released by the International Police Science Association and the Institute for Economics and Peace based on the assessment of 127 countries.

The indices used in the assessment include capacity, process, legitimacy and outcomes, which the group said was meant to measure the ability of the security agency in a country to respond to internal security challenges, both now and in future.

WISPI in its report said the NPF performed worst on all the four parameters with a score of 0.255, ranking 127 below Democratic Republic of Congo, Kenya, Uganda and Pakistan.

It read, “There are 219 police officers for every 100,000 Nigerians, well below both the index median of 300, and the sub-Saharan Africa region average of 268.

“This limits the capacity of the Force to measure up to its law and order mandate.

“In terms of process, legitimacy and outcomes, the story is not different; which makes the Force to fall short of the required standards.”

But the Police dismissed the report, describing it as “misleading and lacking in empirical evidence;” while stressing that WISPI did not take into cognisance the significant improvement in the areas of capacity building, training and re-training of the personnel of the Force.

The Force spokesperson, Jimoh Moshood, in a statement said the NPF had been rated the best in United Nations peace-keeping operations in the world, insisting that the Force cannot be the worst under any known parameters.

It said, “Currently, the Nigeria Police Force is one of the only two African delegates representing the whole of African continent on the executive committee of Interpol, a position the Force attained based on high performance, merit and sustained good track records.”

You cannot fight the same people you claim you are getting Biafra for and survive. Exactly the same mistake Kanu made while refusing all reasons on alienating elders on this gubernatorial election issue.

Sarduana Ahmadu Bello clearly stated that "should the British leave, Fulani will carry it's war of conquest southwards to the sea."
They are steadily warring against Nigerians as they continue their southwards march as has always been their plan. Just that this time, they are keeping the war with Nigerians under the radar so that we don't decide to fight back until its too late.

Politics › How Fulani annexed northern Nigeria and its strategy for southern Nigeria by Cjrane2(op):
History must be taught in our schools. Those who neglect History are bound to repeat the mistakes of the past. Please read below and and learn. BEWARNED!!!!!!! The story is told of how King Yunfa, the Hausa Sarki in Gobir (now called Sokoto) hosted a Fulani immigrant called Usman Dan Fodiyo and his group in February 1804, as a result of this and since 1808 the whole of the northern region lost its kingdoms and were replaced by Fulani emirates.

King Yunfa is said to have been killed in 1808 and the Fulani warrior (Usman Dan Fodiyo) established Sokoto caliphate, making himself Sultan. Gradually, other Hausa kingdoms were pillaged and taken over by the Fulani emirs. The ethnic groups in the core north were the first victims of Fulani imperialism, a venture that occurred because the people were given access to grazing land as a result of the hospitality of the hosts. They however failed to overrun the Bornu and Jukun kingdoms , so the Shehu of Bornu and Aku Uka remains paramount till today!

The Afonja dynasty compromised by allowing a Fulani warrior known as Janta Alimi to settle in Ilorin, the Fulani guerrillas killed Afonja in 1824 And Ilorin, a Yoruba town under the Oyo empire, fell into Fulani hands, becoming an emirate under Sokoto caliphate till today! Even the attempts of the O’odua People’s Congress (OPC) to revert to status quo ante and crown an Onilorin of Ilorin became an exercise in futility. The Yoruba warriors got wise and defeated the Fulani jihadists in Osogbo in 1840, if this didn’t happen there would most likely have been Fulani “emirs” as rulers in Oyo Alaafin, Ibadan, Owo, Osogbo, Ede, Ado, and Igede Ekiti today! If the Bini Kingdom did not fight and repel the jihadists, they would have penetrated the Edo/Delta region beyond the present day Edo North Senatorial District which gave in and allowed the jihadists to overrun & islamize them. Along with some ignorant folk most of them are now angling for grazing areas and a corridor through the entire federation.

These grazing areas will in future become Fulani settlements, later commmunities and finally local government areas with elected officials. If you think I am being alarmist look towards the once beautiful and serene Middle Belt state of Plateau. The exact same thing happened in Jos. Therefore, it will not be farfetched to conclude that the Fulani herdsmen are pawns in an agenda to overrun all towns in Nigeria! So that we will have emirs in Owerri, Enugu, Benin, Agatu,Wukari, Abeokuta and other towns where FG creates “grazing reserves” for Fulani herdsmen!

If Yunfa didn’t accommodate Fodio and his warlike immigrants from Futatoro, Hausa sarkis would be ruling today in the north! And if Afonja didn’t conspire with Alimi, a Yoruba kingdom would not have been ruled by Alimi’s offspring till today! It is a subtle continuation of the 1804 Fulani jihad by the fully-armed and protected Fulani herdsmen with an age-old agenda to overrun and Islamize the whole of Nigeria very quickly. I will end this with what someone rightly said- “The grazing bill is not an attempt to solve the problem, it’s a subterfuge to progress the agenda” It’s an age-old political strategy really- ..create a problem, come up with a “solution” that advances the cause, and then give it a legal backing. Make it look like a win-win situation. To be forewarned......

Why does it pain you people so much to see a performing Governor in the East? All you want to hear is woes and who you can advise to go and develop their village? Go to Anambra if you want to see his achievements. Nobody owes you a picture, afterall you are not from there and you likely wish Anambra the worst so that you can have those to "advice"

I'm 100% sure APGA will win, APC doesn't exist in Anambra, they are hoping to rig on election day.
Exactly! They are hoping to rig using Police and army. I am happy Anambrarians have fully mobilized to video the whole process in every polling station and record the results too.

Watch out for them posting army and Police at polling stations to say nobody can come in with a phone grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin

You know APC is only concerned how to send Python dance and other killers to intimidate innocent people. But they will fail in their attempt to rig the Anambra elections since the people already understand what they are up to. Their hope is to rig themselves into Anambra and use the little funds used for salaries and infrastructure improvements to fund their relection in 2019. Why can't they use funds from Kaduna and other states that benefitted heavily with brand new airports, Abuja-Kaduna railway projects completed and many massive federal roads there completed. Those are the states that should be funding APC relection in 2019 and not states like Anambra where they refused to spend even one penny to repair an old road, talk-less of building new roads or new railway lines as they have done in those northern states.
