I was in for the final stage of interview @ Access bank for the job of a graduate sales rep today. Got into the office and was asked the usual - 'tell me about yourself' and 'why do you want to work for us' question. I answered them and the man seemed impressed by my answers.

But then.. He interrupted me and asked me:

if you were to be handed your employment letter today, how would you generate 500 accounts for us in one month?

I wasn't expecting the question, but then I told him that I would go to potential market places like universitys- during 100 level registration, industrail centers. He wasn't impressed and he pressed me for more answers.(Am interested in more answers to the question) I told me that I had no banking and marketing experience. He replied me saying that I didn't need experience to answer the question and that I obviously didn't have any interest on the job plus a cold - "have a nice day". I felt hurt. I might be called to pick my employment letter, I might not be called.

A flash back on the interview made me understand that he wanted an unusual answer that would get his attention. If I had done a lot of online research I probably would have walked out of that office smiling.

The lesson I learnt which other graduates should learn from is this: do a proper research on the job you applied for, how its done,how the company does it, her policy on it everything. Know about that job as if you've already started work there. Ask questions about the job, from those who have the work experience.

1, Is it a crime for Jim Ovia to be present where Buhari is addressing foreign businessmen.
2, Was Jim Ovia previously booked to be in the guest list for the event?
3, What will Buhari tell Americans that is not good for Nigerian ears?
4, Even if Emefiele brought in Jim Ovia to the event, is there any law that says he can't do so except that Buhari said so?

I thought you were educated. was the CBN governor there on his on own accord or he went there with Buhari? answer this. Good evening all, to say I was shocked at Nigeria's incoming first lady conspicuous absence at the just concluded Presidential inauguration dinner is an understatement. Why on earth would our President-elect attend such a gathering in which even the very old presidents-emeritus such as Shonekan n Gowon came with their eternal first ladies. With this, I feel to have 5 female ministers in GMB's cabinet will be a miracle. GMB shouldn't have attended such historic event without his darling wife. This occurence may lead to a conclusion that GMB does not believe in womenfolk. Pls, Sai Baba, change for the better!

Mr man you have to know something there are soldiers and there are soldiers..... soldiers in nysc camps are called recruit... they don't have a bsc all they have is ssce and they did not attend NDA. they have special programme for recruits.....An NDA graduate cannot go nysc camp...

I sincerely apologize for the post about Ben Murray Bruce. Let us all rally around and support his efforts in speaking out against corruption. I even had more fun as a young guy when I was his son's age. I apologize first to the Murray-Bruce family and to all Nigerians who felt hurt by my assertions. It was grossly inaccurate, and I take full responsibility for the misrepresentation. I am not against those who speak out against thieves. We must all rally round to get this menace out of our country.
