Jobs/Vacancies › Re: A Painful Lesson I Learnt From An Access Bank Interview For A Marketing Job by clemmonce(m): 11:14am On Jul 28, 2015 |
Charism: I was in for the final stage of interview @ Access bank for the job of a graduate sales rep today. Got into the office and was asked the usual - 'tell me about yourself' and 'why do you want to work for us' question. I answered them and the man seemed impressed by my answers.
But then.. He interrupted me and asked me:
if you were to be handed your employment letter today, how would you generate 500 accounts for us in one month?
I wasn't expecting the question, but then I told him that I would go to potential market places like universitys- during 100 level registration, industrail centers. He wasn't impressed and he pressed me for more answers.(Am interested in more answers to the question) I told me that I had no banking and marketing experience. He replied me saying that I didn't need experience to answer the question and that I obviously didn't have any interest on the job plus a cold - "have a nice day". I felt hurt. I might be called to pick my employment letter, I might not be called.
A flash back on the interview made me understand that he wanted an unusual answer that would get his attention. If I had done a lot of online research I probably would have walked out of that office smiling.
The lesson I learnt which other graduates should learn from is this: do a proper research on the job you applied for, how its done, how the company does it, her policy on it everything. Know about that job as if you've already started work there. Ask questions about the job, from those who have the work experience.
Thanks. for sharing this experience with job seekers. you are a good person not wanting others to make the same mistake you made. God bless you |

luvinhubby: Questions you've not answered - 1, Is it a crime for Jim Ovia to be present where Buhari is addressing foreign businessmen. 2, Was Jim Ovia previously booked to be in the guest list for the event? 3, What will Buhari tell Americans that is not good for Nigerian ears? 4, Even if Emefiele brought in Jim Ovia to the event, is there any law that says he can't do so except that Buhari said so? 5, This is a democracy & not a millitary dictatorship were one man's word becomes a law that everyone must scramble to obey. 6, Is Jim Ovia the only Nigerian businessman there? I thought you were educated. was the CBN governor there on his on own accord or he went there with Buhari? answer this. You followed your boss to a place and your boss told don't bring anybody along ooo. you now went ahead and brought someone. is it right or wrong. If it were to an open party everybody is invited buhari can't stop anybody but this time it is not. |

Romance › Re: How My Girlfriend Failed My Fidelity Test. by clemmonce(m): 4:07pm On Jul 07, 2015 |
Pchidexy: I met this girl when I was a teacher in a private school five years ago. She was a teacher as well. She was a hell of beauty. We both had feelings for each other but there wasn't anything serious. We lost contact when I left the school to pursue business. Five years later, in 2015, we met again. This time, we got really acquainted to each other. We were rolling!
The Test: I purposely gave her number and details to my friend who is a real player. He scooped her and she fell. She was money conscious as she demanded Samsung galaxy and some money from my friend. He never gave her any of those things. Just by promising her marriage she willingly opened her legs for him. All these while, I was updated by my friend. She never knew I knew about her escapades.
If you were in my shoes what would you do?
As for me I see her as worthless and only use her to quench konji. you are not wise. |

luvinhubby: With the kind of awful pitch that match was played in & considering the sensitive security situation in some Northern states, Kaduna inclusive, Enyeama was spot on in his criticism. Must you take a match to the north because the last one was played in the south? . That was how Nigeria failed to qualify for 2006 world cup after their draw in Kano heat with Angola. NFF got it wrong. This is what is killing us till this day. Answer a simple question. What eyeama did was it right or wrong simple. |

LegalIcon: Good evening all, to say I was shocked at Nigeria's incoming first lady conspicuous absence at the just concluded Presidential inauguration dinner is an understatement. Why on earth would our President-elect attend such a gathering in which even the very old presidents-emeritus such as Shonekan n Gowon came with their eternal first ladies. With this, I feel to have 5 female ministers in GMB's cabinet will be a miracle. GMB shouldn't have attended such historic event without his darling wife. This occurence may lead to a conclusion that GMB does not believe in womenfolk. Pls, Sai Baba, change for the better! you are unintelligent. there are more than a thousand reasons she was absent that is not your business. pray for good governance that is all. poking your dirty nose into another person's affair. #sillythread |
