shosky1794: There should be a setting for tethering/portable hotspot on your device. When you get to that setting, click the box for portable hotspot. Then put on wireless on your laptop & connect. I hope that helps

Just create a new profile on your modem, call it whatever like MTNBB, enter *99# as dialing code, blackberry.net as APN, username, password and IP, leave blank. Save as default. Connect and you are good to go!

I have even used my BB desktop manager. Click on mobile internet settings, change the APN to blackberry.net, username, password leave blank, save and connect.

shosky1794: Go to your data settings and set up new APN. In the APN space, input 'blackberry.net' then save it. Subscribe to the BIS plan you want. After this, switch off your phone & remove the battery. You are good to go from here. You'll sure enjoy it. I use it on my android & broadcast through hotspot to my PC. Downloaded about 5GB already
