My states liason office is in VI, my brother got his from there, as he couldn’t find the one my dad did for him, cost him 5k.

States a certificate or national ID CARD, but those people at the immigration office might request for both.

you are telling him thanks, that's a wrong info, u must provide your block account confirmation or sponsorship letter or scholarship from a German organization or the EU before u will be interviewed.

Yes, you can attend the interview without BA. You will only be given a duration to provide the BA before your visa is released.

Who gave u that info, that was before, u can't do that currently, u must provide ur BA confirmation or sponsorship letter or scholarship before u will be interviewed

category B is the right choice for u, as for the dates are u for summer or winter? No one can determine the time the dates will come except the German consulate.

Have u gotten admission letter already? booking or not is quite confusing, cause the website says by ending April application will be cleared, and also the waiting period is 12 months so no one knows, but if u don't have admission letter, pls don't book.

Is it foreseeable that the embassy will give a date before October, considering the 12 months waiting period of Cat B?

Also, if an opportunity arises to be eligible for Cat A around March 2020, is it advisable to cancel B and apply again with A.

you've not sven sent your doc to Germany, u never get AL and u booking for winter? abeg house is the April purge no longer going through for winter? I don't understand this waka, I don't understand why d embassy won't allow upload of AL during booking, people are just booking and most won't cancel if they don't get d AL, making the ones with AL not get dates, the embassy need to stop this. can't they see the lapse.

Emphasis on the "After 2017" does this mean that one can apply for CAT A , if graduated before 2017? just asking, I have booked for a CAT B for the second time now, lost an AL to 2019 , got another for 2020 . wouldn't want to risk it again. Kindly Reply

Bro try do small reading of previous pages if you really wan embark on this journey. Na information be man, now to your questions;

(1) Cat A & Cat B refers to the appointment booking categories. If you graduated after 2017 with a First class or a Second class upper, or hold a German Language Certificate at level B2 with over 80points or a TestAS certificate with a score of 100 - 130, also holding a Scholarship Cat A sure for you otherwise you are on Cat B

(2) With the latest development, Cat A is 8months while Cat B is over 12months. Although, anything can still happen because I believe in MIRACLES!!!

The message is quite clear, if u graduated in 2017 or after and u have a 2.1 or first class, then apply for category A. Note the AND!!! or else apply for category B. simple

I HV search tire , it seems no school In Germany can accept a Cgpa of 2.5 for masters, the least I saw was 3.0.

Anybody with similar case? And is there anyway forward ?

Firstly ur grade in the German scale is 2.8, and u know the the higher the grade the lower, and vice versa, so 2.8 is lower than 2.5, most German schools require 2.5 German grade. so was the 3.0 u saw in German grade? if yes u are qualified to apply, in all honesty to get admission would be tough and quite limited, but never say never...

Well I will be truthful with u, to be on a safer side use either the embassy or notary public, but some schs and uniassist accept high Court certification, I am using notary public, if u are in Lagos I can give u a notary public's digit, I used the man, quite cheap and with stamp.
