A friend of mine just booked an appointment for CAT A and in less than 20 minutes he got an appointment date. But in the mail, it's written than both the first-class and 2nd class upper graduates can apply for CAT A meanwhile on the website, only first-class is written on the website.

Hello boss. I just got an unconditional offer of admission for an M.Sc in a school in Berlin, for Feb 2021. I need to make the initial school fees deposit, then I'll be sent documents to start the visa process. I'll make the deposit by Friday. If I start the visa process by end of November, can I still meet up February 8, 2021 deadline? The delay till November is due to the blocked account processes and raising the 10k euros.

Don't pay any money, even if u decide to apply faith make sure u read up the schools refund policy.

Since last year July till now I am not sure anybody under category B or A without scholarship has gotten AD, am sure of this cause even after I gave up on Germany I tried to study the system I see if I could know how I could find a loophole, I applied for category A just to test and measure, after a while like that covid19 period all applications we're cancelled, everyone received mail of cancellation of all AD cause of covid19.

Sinc they resumed nothing has still changed, cause u will think that since all AD was cancelled from their system and their system flushed all entries will be new and their would be space. Yet nothing.

What does this tell u, it tells u that theirs probably an invisible policy or a shadow ban to restrict Nigerian student entry into Germany for the time being.

Proof of this is that the booking system hasn't changed, before now u book and choose an AD, but now u can't choose an AD. Despite the fact that it's that style they use in other countries. It's only in Nigeria that u would book AD then start waiting.

All in all no pay any money, even if there's a refund policy it would involce

The earlier you book the better o.. Its risky to book late o, they already have a lot of backlogs in the embassy of people who have booked and awaiting response from the embassy. However, you should only book when you have gotten admission.
Is those people that book irregularly that is causing this problem for us.

How will keeping quiet be beneficial to us when people are nearing admission deadlines despite spending a handful of money to secure such admission?

If the fact that intl flight are closed is really thier 'genuine' concern, or reason, why are they working fully in other African countries except Nigeria, and those countries too are yet to open intl flight?

The rule and protocol you are referencing only applies to Nigeria, and we want to know why.

This is a bit sketchy, and people have the right to voice out in this kind of situation.

It's hightime we stopped complaining and take necessary actions in voicing our demands to these people. We can send tweets about this issue to the German office in Berlin @GermanyDiplo on twitter.. I have been able to contact the European Student Union on this AD issue as well. At this point, we need to find ways to reach out to those in government so that they can find a solution for us.. Technically, the reason we want to school abroad is to get better education in developing ourselves and this country.. Even if it is for us to go to the Lagos State Assembly to communicate our feelings and demands let's do that more action less talk we can't just sit and expect a miracle without necessary steps.. Let's get in as a team to find a solution NOW!!! People should come up with ideas on how to communicate our feelings to the government to help us reach out to the embassy we need ideas not complains

But honestly you guys needs to either simultaneously contact your schools and tell them to ask the embassy why they’re not giving students appointment dates?! Because even before covid,i used to come on this thread and see how you guys struggle with visa appointment dates! Schools are just dishing out admissions with no hope for visa! Alot new people here thinks it’s about covid but it’s been going on before covid 19...Totally unfair and a waste of time!

Bergakademie frieberg does is that u will have to show them proof that you have gotten appointment date before they can send u a letter of presence.

Once I email them to send me a letter of presence they requested for my proof of AD before sending it, many schs does like that, but what of have u gotten yours

Just look at Nigerian govt, very louzy people, is the higly decreasing covid and highest no of patients discharged not a big sign for them to make a move, infection rate is low now or they want by the time every body dies of anxieties before they know what to do.

Factors they should look at before the flight resumption is here in our presnse which is infection rate getting lower and highest no of people discharged.

When they made the allegations against them smuggling VIPs and families by flight out of the country they denied it..... Well I pray God uses his koboko to deal with them and wake them up, they don't deserve the positions they held.

Better get yourself enrolled for your course while you start off here... Once you get a date be sure to prove that your presence is still required and you d meet up with your course. The problem with most of you is you v failed to research on the avalanche of information so many guys in DE now have posted on this forum on how they were able to circumvent this kind of situations. Oga get urself ready for online classes while you pursue ur visa period.

So I got a mail from University of Bremen this morning suggestive of the fact that it might become a norm this time; it probably won't be an issue since every school is sending it without even you requesting it. The letter went thus:

Confirmation for submission to the German Embassy

Dear Mr.....

Due to the Corona the courses in the winter semester will be offered in hybrid form,i.e a mixture of online and face to face formats. The presence of students in Bremen in required.

*** Just like I stated earlier I got this letter this morning without even requesting for it. Meaning the schools are even thinking ahead of us.
