Phiewall: Good morning all.
Can someone direct me to the page that talks about the beginning process for the student visa application? The thread is really long, so I'm confused as to where to begin to get the needed information. Read page one, u will see a guideline |

Betnomore: 2.02
Its quite easy to calculate
Nmax= Nigerian maximum GP which is 5.0 in your case
Nattained= Nigerian GP attained which is 3.3 in your case
Nlowest= Nigerian minimum GP which is 0 in your case
So it goes like D's
(5.0-3.3)÷(5.0-0)x3+1
(1.7÷5)x3+1
(0.34x3)+1
1.02+1
2.02 2.2 not 2.02 |

Thegamingorca: That's what some others said in September and now we are in December ending about to overlook summer 2020 are u suggesting that there won't be date for summer applicants from January? |

princejck: With the rate at which people re booking AD the waiting time could be realistic. Well I am for winter 2020, I think by April 2020 the system would be cleaned up to allow winter AD, but I am sure those category A that booked Like October will get dates, and few of category B. By Jan we would know. |

faithzy: Bro Educate me, I'm listening. That's the best bet i can think right now. Are u guys already given up in Germany, let's be realistic the more than 12 month waiting period is not realistic, how can admission wait that long, doesn't make sense, let's be patient i think, it might be 1 - 10 month or I - 12 month, please let's be patient to avoid "had I know". Note: If u are sending docs to Germany by next week from asaba and environs, pls pm. |

CallmeFather: 12 months wait how? I don't think they will do such a thing, better to inform us not to apply than to hold our horses for nothing.
Someone mentioned something about Neo colonialism in some pages back. If that happens it is sadly that & ofcourse racism. I don't believe it will happen that way even though I already waited and never got a date.
Man, if they do that, what is the purpose of applying?!! That's the issue, like me I am for winter 2020, and currently am certifying, then send to DE, all this na money, it's painful that after all the stress there might not be date, d embassy should clarify things, make guys know what next. |

Energygod: Sincerely speaking I think it has because even during winter at least Cat A was getting dates and few Cat B but now nothing at all March is when most schools resume and it's not even far at all Is that when they plan to give everyone date? Imagine the workload and it's now that they are few working It's a sad story really The problem here is will they even give dates or is it after the waiting period, am really anxious of January, cause is then people go start to panic, really sad situation. |

Toby88: I guess the embassy wants applicants to book an appointment and also get an admission that’s closest to the appointment date. Eg, since it’s 12 months waiting period, you’ll have to book an appointment now and apply for January 2021 admission. My understanding of it anyway ♂️ so winter applicants shouldn't waste their time applying, what of the usually purge by April and September, this embassy should come clean, they are just playing around |

princejck: Yes that’s what he is saying and he's right. It’s Nigerians fault and there’s nothing we can do about it.
Everyone has to wait patiently if u want to sit and wait do it, don't add everyone, there is nothing wrong in suggesting politely the way forward, guy do what u want and leave others. |

JosephAdeoba: If we have any complaints we should blame our system as an African country a member of African Union we still need visa to visit our member countries like south africa and so on, our system create this problem Nigeria and we Nigerians living in both Nigeria and abroad, I have some Kenyans, Ethiopians, Ugandan friend who don't want to associate themselves with Nigerians because of the crime Nigerians commit on a daily basis abroad. An Uganda lady asked me why are Nigerians so brave like this? A country where our government don't obey the rule of law and you think we have right abroad when a foreigner see Nigerians they see crime and fraud, I remember an European lady I once meet in a train she asked me if I know Nigerian prince that she has a lot of emails from them talking about there forefathers inheritance, she said she hope I am not a Prince from Nigeria Just imagine and truly I am a genuine prince from Nigeria. if we change our ways as a Nigerian and we have a good government so many countries will open there border to us, imagine Ghana passport can visit Hong kong, Bahamas and so many good countries without Visa ask me why? No kidnapping, No terrorism, No fraud, No drugs. ( don't worry everyone will make it to DE Just be patience) God bless Nigeria. So u are saying now we should blame the country and not do anything now, cos I am not getting your point. |

kumkumtins1: This is not true. Nigerian students in Germany do not even have the largest population from Africa. As of winter 2018 we were only about 1,900 , even cameroonian and Ghanaian students are more than twice our population. Thd largest population of foreign students is from China with over 32,000 students, then Russia and Austria. India had about 14,000 students. There is no hidden agenda in place to reduce foreign students. In fact there are new laws set in place to ease immigration for highly educated/skilled workers from 3rd world countries. These laws would take effect from January 1 2020. The laws also make provision for the foreign students as well.
See this link https://www.studying-in-germany.org/germany-international-student-statistics/
before appointment dates can be set. That way it would ensure that only true and eligible applicants can get appointment dates. Also tell them that the embassy seems to be inactive at the moment. Guy God bless u for this, in Nigeria we just allow things the way it is, most of us are pure cowards, we can only appeal to them politely for the best way forward, I see absolutely nothing wrong with that. SUPPORTED. |

Sorry I don't understand when people say the embassy is fully booked, how many of us here have gotten dates, People who went for interview recently testified how few those for student visas were. The VOs too nor plenty, someone booked Oct 3 still no date, so i don't understand the fully booked in all honesty. The embassy has not been given dates in mass. that's just it, but I hope January it will change. |

Energygod: Like I don't understand
Something they've explained and said how it will be you're now saying you want to pray for protocol to be broken People funny o. Go ask work permit and re Union people
Guy that 12 months na 12 months no prayer or whatsoever will change their mind Prayer in this case isn't the solution Fact!!
if you still wanna kabash at osun mountain Please do so
(Btw I'm a string Christian so don't come and metion me yarning me caps) Guy u are so pessimistic, whatever u believe biko believe it for yourself, don't rub it on everyone, if he prays let him do so, I am optimistic that things will change by January, so whatever u wrote up there is for u alone, one thing I have noticed about this embassy stuff is how unstable they are, they make policies and change, so please let the optimistic ones be. |
