Going through these comments makes me laugh and makes me sad. I've seen some other topics where the situation is reversed and posters have responded that the wife must submit. No one asked questions about the man's appearance, the man's weight issues, whether the man is doing enough to please his wife. No one blamed the husband. Being a Nigerian wife seems so undesirable sometimes.

OP, I'm not going to assume anything about you. All I have is what you have given us. All I'm going to say is that the both of you need to sit down and have an honest conversation about your lack of relations. Communicating is key.

It's so depressing reading through most of the insensitive, immature and selfish comments dripped by most people here. We don't make fun of EVERY topic. Our words can go a long way in encouraging people or damaging my resolve.

Misshipsy88, you haven't actually given us adequate information on which we could build a case and give some pieces of advice. For instance, did he just start the habit recently? Has he been struggling with it years back? Do you know he has the said habit before you got married to him? Did he ever tell you the habit was his weak point before your wedding occasion? How deep do you know him? And we're to he following questions would have helped in no little means.

By all means, the straight man should naturally prefer to burrow through that narrow, sensitive, extremely appealing feature between a woman's let's than her himself off. The sight of a woman , not minding her design and contours, should excite the passions of a man. I know that evil habit can be extremely addictive but for a married man to prefer it to the heavenly between a woman indicates a very serious problem with the man.

Contrary to what most people here have said, the problem is with your husband, not you. Of course I know getting married isn't enough to break off from this habit. But having a woman around one should gradually deplete the strength of the habit and have it totally disappear after some while.

Your husband derives pleasure from touching himself instead of riding you. That calls for a deep concern. Ask him to tell you all the truth. You need to assist him here. The more he engages in it the stronger the force and the more he will engage and indulge in it. He needs your help. He needs to identify he's got serious problem. He needs to be sincere with himself and seek help.

There's a way that seems right unto a man but the end thereof is destruction. Talk to him. Bring up the topic. There's a deeper problem somewhere.

Your husband should deploy his energy making very deep exhausting LOVE TO YOU, not satisfying HIS OWN LUST!

Ask him to invite his friends and classmates His birthday is all about celebrating him and not you. Put them in groups, find a couple games for them to play( including board games), take pictures while they are doing one activity or the other, cut the cake when it is almost time, serve them the food then send them off to their homes.

It is his birthday not the family's. That is why he should be the one doing the invitataon. You want to have a personal swell time, get him involved in the food preparation (he can help out with the tasting and mixing albeit with your supervision), also you can ask him to choose the colours for the decoration.

Please don't act like our typical Nigerian parents who turn their kid's birthday into a society affair. There is no reason for an adult to present at a kid's birthday. You don't need speakers or chairs, if your living room is big enough- decorate it for them. You also do not need 20 kids, there is nothing wrong with having 10 kids around.
