And they all laughed . Because it’s so funny IjeBos: |
Trump caught on a hot mike telling the El Salvador president “the home growns are next. We’ve gotta build about 5 more places”. If you think you’re safe, you’re not. Unless you’re kissing his butt. It was never about illegal immigration. |
Obviously it was a clerical error and she knows her rights as an attorney. But imagine if she got swept up in an ICE raid because she’d been identified as an unlawful resident? Then the president says they can’t bring her back? Y’all keep supporting hooliganism Like someone already said, it’s coming to your doorstep A Massachusetts-born immigration attorney is questioning how many people are being wrongly instructed by the federal government to self-deport after she says she received an email from the Department of Homeland Security telling her to leave the U.S. “immediately” because her “parole” was terminated. |
But Mein Kampf by Adolf Hitler remains left on the shelves. He’ll find another sick black child to parade while systematically destroying the history of African American contributions to the country. Give you guys a few crumbs to keep you distracted and appreciative. These Are the 381 Books Removed From the Naval Academy Library |
I’m getting whiplash from their ability to change stances at the blink of an eye

The fact that stuff like this happens since I was a kid up until now and Nigeria is still the same. No one is doing anything to permanently put a stop to this is crazy . Govt after government. Same old story |
bemeruca:Funny you should ask because your side started with the “if you don’t like Trump govt you should leave” rhetoric. I guess you were blind to it then because it wasn’t being directed at you. Funny how y’all suddenly develop common sense when a mirror is held up to your faces to reflect your own self back to you. Once again the irony. But that’s not even specifically what I was talking about in the first post you responded to. I mean why migrate at all to a first world country?. Be it Canada, America or wherever. Coming from a third world country with all the problems you’re running away from, only to support a politician who will turn the country you migrated to into a third world dictatorship if allowed to succeed is asinine (for lack of a better word). Y’all want less regulations. So that people can’t hold corporations accountable for harm done to them due to slack safety standards. You are demonizing higher education. Calling it indoctrination. You’re demonizing science and scientists because their scientifically researched facts don’t support the conspiracies you’re being fed Demonizing healthcare because you’re told to do so. Promoting big man culture where only those who suck up to the leader are allowed to exist freely. Anyone else is a traitor. Why leave the third world country at all? You already have all these things there. Let me guess because it’s not actually nice to live under those conditions. The kind of society you want to live in doesn’t thrive under those kind of beliefs you have. Your beliefs and the outcomes you wish for are antithetical to each other. And that’s the irony I was talking about! |
bemeruca:The irony of having beliefs that go against the outcomes you truly desire but then migrating to places with the belief you hate. Same beliefs you hate that guarantee the outcome you hope for. |
Utterly gut wrenching GloriousGbola: |

raumdeuter:Gerrymandering affects all elections. From the house of reps where crazy people like MTG end up elected there are also gerrymandered state legislatures. Who then end up passing all kinds of voter suppression laws in their states. You’re doing that thing again when something is proven to you in black and white you start saying what about this. The fact is republican states are twice as gerrymandered as democrat states. Bringing it to what about the senate and the presidency will not change the fact that gerrymandering has favored republicans way past what they deserve. Like I told you before when you talked about people moving from democrat states and like I will tell you if you bring it up again (and I know you will) my sweet response is good riddance . I wish more republican minded people will move to Republican states. Today if possible. Hopefully sooner than later. So you guys can line up the streets and yell “go back to where you came from” at each other 😅 |
raumdeuter:“Most of the states in the United States (about 75%) have a legislature that has been gerrymandered to favor either the Republican or the Democratic party. Gerrymandering is the drawing of legislative district lines in such a way that a political party elects more legislators than it would ordinarily be entitled to. Gerrymandering creates large numbers of “safe seats” for the dominant party in a legislature that cannot be lost, no matter how the voters are voting. But there is a distinct partisan bias to the gerrymandering of legislatures in the United States. Roughly twice as many legislatures are gerrymandered to favor the Republicans as as are gerrymandered by Democrats.” I have lived in many liberal states and I absolutely hated it. They seem always devoid of happiness and mostly miserable.Opinions right? I have been to Canada and it was just there. Like a poor cousin of America. A pretend America. In Ontario their biggest province only one company LBCO sells most of the alcohol and they even went on strike for weeksagain opinions. But I have to mention how anti Canadian rhetoric wasn’t a thing in America until Trump came into office and told his base Canada is an enemy then all of a sudden right wingers are espousing anti Canadian sentiment while praising Russia. It’s interesting That's why most Nigerian immigrants in America their end goal is to get American citizenshipRight. Because USA is a bigger world power. With a stronger currency. I feel like it goes without saying that an immigrant would want to come here. Unfortunately Trump is ruining all that.

There’s nothing new here. I’ve asked him before why he chose a blue state and he didn’t have anything to say in response. Mind you, you’re the one mentioning his sanity. I said no such word. basilico: |
basilico:This is an interesting career combination. Does she still work as a nurse? And does equipment repairs on the side? |
I actually dgaf. It’s a free world. He can be wherever he wants. I’m bemused he hasn’t chosen a red state to go live in though. Wouldn’t that be the right move for him? Liberalism is a disease according to you guys. And democrats are ruining their states. He hates liberals. Why not find a red state with the values he wants? Last I checked he won’t need a visa for that since he’s already in America🤷🏽♀️. As for your question why does it matter? It wouldn’t matter on a normal day but the kinds of claims people make on this thread is what made it seem to matter. Imagine I’m in America and I’m arguing with amaka about what’s going on in her street or local council in UK. But she’s telling me “that’s not true. I’m actually presently here and this is what’s happening”. But I keep confidently calling her a liar about her experience because my Google is telling me something different than her experience is showing her. Amaka has a right to ask me if I even know what I’m talking about since she’s the one who had the experience and all I have is google. There’s a reason why I keep convos generic if I’m talking to someone who has more experience in the topic than I do. And I listen to them if they tell me I’m wrong. Obviously Americans politics is very interesting and unfortunately it affects the world so everyone gets a say. But to the point of arguing specific details that you can only know from experience is wild to me. Y’all carry on. 😘 basilico: |
IjeBos:He tried this denaturalization stunt in his first term btw. Now he has no one to stop him so he’ll go full throttle. But when I talked about it, Mr Livingstone (I think that’s his moniker) came with his “I’m a neutral observer and you’re worse than maga for saying this”. 😒 Because they couldn’t get themselves to believe he could ever do something like this. Even though his records are public. |
@bold Wouldn’t be surprised. They chose to focus on the wrong things. They were warned. As much as rainbow people annoy or irritate you, they are not what’s wrong with the country. Makes no sense Focusing on them when your lives and freedoms are at stake. But it fell on deaf ears. Everyone is collecting now. As you can see, No more rampant LGBTQ discourse. Did they stop existing? Obviously not. Did they stop using public bathrooms? Lol. But I guess the propaganda has served its use and those who fell for it are somewhere now nursing the wounds they inflicted on themselves. I’m sure they learned nothing though. Another politician with anti this group or that group propaganda will still get their votes. Tightpussy2024: |
GloriousGbola:None of them can survive in a real republican state. They usually move to the Texas big cities or cities in NC or FL. Some of these states are only red because of gerrymandering or their Republicans only slightly outnumber the democrats. So on paper they’re red but their cities have diversity and some liberal values like higher education etc. Which is what attracts progress and higher income. Then they turn around and hate the only reason why they’re even surviving in those cities to start with. Let a true African conservative head to deep red state with sundown towns and come back to tell us their experience. |
When I lived in Washington we used to joke with “hey honey how would you like to spend the weekend in another country”? Because it was merely like 2 hours away to get into Canada from where we were. We would go pretend we were foreigners in a foreign country. ![]() Beautiful beautiful country. With liberal values. I would be proud to live there. I don’t think he’s not proud of it. I think he got caught up trying to portray that he’s very well versed in American politics because he’s an American resident and then he had to keep up with the story. Either way I hope he finds his way to Alabama or Missouri or Mississippi where the core red values are rampant. Then he can enjoy the politics he advocates for. Being in Seattle where we kept our last democratic governor for 12 years in a row has to be very hard for a Republican like bemeruca. We don’t mess with conservatism in Washington state. We’ve been democrats since before I was born. I can’t imagine an immigrant with conservative values choosing to live there. Ibime: |
Why would you? I don’t tell disjointed stories. It’s not about one place being heaven or not. If I start saying things about living in Somalia just because we’re having a conversation about Somalia and what I’m saying doesn’t add up, I’m sure any discerning person would have their eyebrows raised as well . And it wouldn’t be because they’re jealous that I claim to live in Somalia. It wouldn’t simply be because what I’m saying doesn’t add up. 1+1 bemeruca: |
happney65:He’s not okay. Seriously speaking Things he should think well before implementing he’ll rush into just to get his fanbase excited then of course he has to walk every decision back. After causing chaos and losses to the masses |
England, Germany, France, Denmark, Finland, Belgium, Ireland, The Netherlands, Norway, and Portugal all have new travel advisories for visiting America. We’re in the trenches. Giant of the world indeed. Trump needs to go away so we can go back to being great! |
bemeruca:Save the nonsense for someone else who hasn’t been here and reading the posts for themselves |
basilico:Cry me a river. California forever. Goodbye 👋🏾😘 |
bemeruca:🥴🥴 |
descarado:We would love to opt out. But republicans would cry and fight us about it. They hate California so much but they can’t afford to be weaned off our titties flowing with money that subsidizes them and the poor financial decisions of their governments. Are we supposed to sit on hands and suffer because the president wants to play games with our livelihoods and retirement funds? Ask yourself why the core red states are the poorest, sickest and least educated states. The red states that don’t do so badly are the ones with big diverse cities where the left leaning populations is only slightly outnumbered by the right. Places Where they’re like 60% red and 40% blue. The blue cities amongst them carry them on their backs. The core red ones like Alabama, Mississippi, Missouri etc. dirt poor. uneducated. Meth heads. Healthcare system in the mud. Transporting their homeless people to California in the middle of the night and abandoning them. If we don’t want to go down that route, we have to bypass irresponsible Republican presidents whose only mission in their presidencies is to enrich the oligarchs and abandon the people. Democrat policies centers the people. That’s why we do well. Thank you Governor Newsom! |
Say what you will about Newsom but he cares for Californians and goes to bat for us. We don’t worship him and we don’t agree 100% with everything he does. But that’s the marking of a democracy not a cult worshiping system. People forget that during Covid, he bypassed the federal government to get our hospital workers N95 masks. Donated ventilators to other states (including red ones) while their governors were busy scratching their heads and propagandizing a disease outbreak. Largest economy in the USA and 5th in the world for a reason
