There’s an imbalance of power between a prisoner and the guard. Even if the prisoner “consented”, there’s a possibility that they did out of fear of offending the guard or in hopes of preferential treatment. Even with responsible fathers who love their children, it’s harder on the kids when they are still small. Before we can get to that stage where it’s the same either way, we must work NOW to raise men who are at peace with both their masculine and feminine sides.
