Imagine a 26year old woman and her mom blaming others for their own life choices. When they should be preparing to welcome their new child and grandchild into the family.

To top the annoying part for me, MIL still insisted that I should be addressing kids of 8years and above as "aunty & brother". Meaning that I must not address them by their first name. Whereas from my own approach and thus far, I only give that respect to age 14 and above.
Dumbfounded. To say the least

I sense a lot of dishonesty when Nigerians who actually grew up in Nigeria say Juju doesn't work. I mean this is basically part of our culture, we grew up seeing this every freaking day.
Here it comes. This is why I refrain from having these conversations at times. Because it’s usually an insidious veiled attack. What does growing up in Nigeria have to do with it? Do you know me from anywhere to know if I have actually believed all my life that they don’t work or if my opinion changed at some point?

Either way because something is part of your culture doesn’t mean it makes any sense or that it’s universally true. I HAVE NEVER seen juju work. (And that’s just for me personally). But generally, there’s no singular proven factual evidence anywhere on earth that it works. I’m not stopping you from believing in it. Don’t harass me for not believing it. Stay in your lane. If that is upsetting to you, too bad.

After seeing all of this, cococandy will still say there is nothing like Juju. Smh.
I never doubted that people practice juju. That’s a wrong understanding of my opinion.
My belief is that juju is powerless. A whole different thing.
If it works, how did 7 of them die?

Joint finances ko, joint finances ni...do you knw how many women buy properties in their family members'name, lie about earnings and hide money here and there...How many women even comfortably co-fund the house ...All na man money dem dey share no be woman own
if they live in a country where community ownership of property is enforced, those properties they secretly bought using the family finances, they will be made to sell them and share the proceed with their husbands

As for the bold, just about as many men co-fund the house. Be realistic and look at the economy around you. The days of only men providing have been over for a while now.

This same woman receiving the proceed will do same for her son cos she knw the woman doesnt deserve it, how many women will happily share such money with their about-to-divorce husband
not happily of course. But they will be made to share it just as he was made to share it. They can’t escape the law

Don't mind them. They all planned it. The judge do not have right to award benefits to someone against her believe. If it were to be a debt owe while gambling, will the judge forcefully asked the woman to share in it now that they are separating ?
yes. People inherit their spouses debt all the time. Divorce or not. As long as they borrowed the money while married to you. It’s joint finances. That’s why you must marry someone who won’t bring you down financially by borrowing unreasonably

And the mom really accepted the transfer. Many women are enablers. It’s horrifying. As if she would be happy if her own husband tried to cheat her out of what’s due to her. Smh
