And I ask what's ego compared to better well being and longer life span? I just laugh. The logic is this - if I take in now, oga will not continue to harass, stress or trouble me about doubling my business hustle, taking that professional exam like ICAN or applying for a new/better paying job.

Pregnant women are generally considered as being in a fragile/delicate state. So, if you as a man continue to advocate these things during a pregnancy, you may be regarded as inconsiderate, harsh or even wicked.

Even employers are reluctant to hire pregnant women because of the mandatory maternity leave they have to proceed on, shortly after being employed.

In their minds pregnancy is a lot easier than having to deal with any of the above. In their minds it is also a valid excuse for not doing what it takes, to improve themselves financially or otherwise.

I once read a post by a female moniker who said pregnancy/giving birth is not a big deal or stressful matter for us women at all, because we were created for it. In my own mind, I said oshey o! Something I lost 2 women in my life to.
