An ideal situation is one where nobody is carrying an unfair amount of responsibilities. Be it financial, domestic or otherwise.

Wow happy for you.

I know as bad as it is that african food is sort of scarce/expensive here, we are better than some people
Although personally, I’ve never seen snails or periwinkles here. I don’t care for them that much anyway so it’s okay grin

Schwartz:
After craving snails for years, i finally travelled to the USA got to Newar, NJ and got OMG snails!! Plus perinwinkles. I spent a good amount of money there on Naija food. But i dont care. I have been eating snails everyday now grin grin American people you guys are really enjoying o

Wizkid just lost a fan. He’s obviously just another entitled conscienceless misogynistic hypocritical african male.

You didn’t think they were hoes when you slept with them did you?
You’re the one who is obviously sleeping around but you don’t consider yourself irresponsible innit?

It’s not your fault but the misogynistic culture you’re raised in. One would think he would be more enlightened now.

Unfortunately your kids will grow up to see you calling their mothers prostitutes while you’re ignoring to take care of them and concurrently sleeping with different women at the same time.

Disgusting

Elder001:
I'm a known feminist on this site and I've received a lot of insults even from women because of my feminist views, so, I find it funny that you'll mistake me for a misogynist because I endorsed what God said.

You're a Christian therefore you're expected to live by the rules of the Bible.

Yes. I know that that version of God was created to endorse your misogyny

Spits. No woman on nairaland has argued with me to this point without giving up.
I never encouraged cheating by men, I only said men shouldn't take back cheating wives but you felt men should do so because women also take back cheating husbands as if they are being forced to do so.

I regret replying your mention cry
Sucks for you huh? Master argumentator grin

I never knew you can talk like this oh sad
Yea. Try to emotionally blackmail me into agreeing with you that it’s better for a woman to get cheated on than a man. You are not the first.

I’m very loyal to my gender and will never compromise it to boost your ego. Take a seat.
Family › Re: My Wife Had An Affair!! by cococandy(f): 5:39pm On Sep 15, 2018
Nothing you say makes it better or more acceptable when a man cheats. Stop trying

Cheating openly or codedly. Who’s paying for their arrogance? You guys of course. Maybe ruminate on that when you log off.

Elder001:
This is like you trying to mock me. See it's not about final say but it's the rightful thing to do.

Because gej looted doesn't mean buhari should be allowed to loot -“most times it is women who advise their fellow women to stay in abusive, unfavourable marriages and when their husbands are cheating”.
You're bragging about women cheating, right? “Women don't dare cheat openly -they cheat codely but it Is the reverse with men”. I want to log out but before I go I'll give you some reasons why any sane man won't take back a cheating wife;

1. The cheating was not a mistake on her part.
2. She is selfish.
3. She embarrassed you.
Not that you should care about what other people think, but the cheater went out of her way to sneak behind your back and do her dirty deeds. She played you like you were a fool and maybe even thought you were too dumb to find anything out. She did not respect you in the moment.
4. The memory never goes away.
It will always be there and you will try to hold your tongue not to bring it up in other arguments down the line. When you watch a movie about someone being unfaithful, you’ll be able to relate and realize you’re still with that unfaithful wife. The anger and sadness that you felt will forever be apart of your marriage even if you think you’re capable of moving forward with your life.

Cococandy please how did your middle name come to be "evil feminist"? grin grin

Can I get the story? grin please? grin
Lol. I can’t even narrate the genesis.

I was just very vocal about the BS on this forum for the longest time. So, any time someone had something to say about “those evil feminists”, Coco always got the first mention.

And any lady who agrees with me was part of the coven of witches. The non-virtuous women who didn’t preach for women to wear red pant and bra and lay down to get trampled in order to keep a man. Got so many inbox threats. oh my

Anyway long time sha. I guess the less active you’re, the less you come across BS. That’s sort of reduced now.

Elder001:
Your point exactly is because women don't leave most times when men cheat ,men should also take back cheating wives?
I have no opinion about that. People should do what they want. I’m saying I don’t have sympathy for them when they are cheated on. Not wasting my data to sympathize with someone who would justify such actions if he were on the other end.

Something for you, nothing hurts a man more than another man fvcking his wife. Even in a relationship, nothing hurts more than your gf being fvcked by another man.
Same with women. Except that men like you keep belittling their humanity by telling them their pain is illegitimate. You paint them bad for having and expressing the same amount of hurt you show when betrayed. The most effective tool of oppressor is to dehumanize the oppressed. That way they can feel good about doing whatever they want without their conscience pricking them. Telling yourselves that men hurt more when cheated on makes you feel good about cheating because you don’t believe it hurts women as much.

Even if a man is a serial cheater he can't take it if his wife cheats that's just the way things are wired and you can't change it.
Astounding hypocrisy seasoned with the ever authoritarian statement on how things are and why they should be accepted that way. Unfortunately for you, everything around you keeps proving you wrong. Yet you’re here grasping at straws. And mansplaining to those who care to listen why your opinions are final. Keep trying. Someone will believe you someday

Even you won't advice your brother to take back a cheating wife.
If he’s a cheat, then he better take her back and shut the hell up.

Such an emotional outburst!

The truth hurts but you'll have to deal with it.
And there comes the final pointless rejoinder about emotions when there’s nothing more meaningful to say. Not like any of the others posts have been meaningful anyway.

Your posts haven’t been emotional? I guess not. You have been most logical and factual. Mine was definitely emotional because I’m a woman. grin

Well I’m dealing with “the truth” the same way OP is dealing with the truth and many of you are also dealing with the truth without even knowing it. grin

Good job raising those kids that y’all are planting in each other’s homes kiss
Family › Re: My Wife Had An Affair!! by cococandy(f): 4:10pm On Sep 15, 2018
And here comes the bullshit again. undecided

1) tell women how they feel about sex. Even though you’ve never been a woman before. how about those times I just wanted to have sex for sex itself. Oh wait That can’t be right. Elder says as a woman, that’s not possible.

2) imply that women don’t provide for their families despite evidence that many women of reproductive age in Nigeria work and provide for the homes when married. So the provider has earned the right to cheat? I’m just repeating your words. “We can’t hold them to the same standards because they work hard to provide”. So women who contribute financially to the home can cheat then. Okay got it.

3) tell coco to accept the truth as defined by elder001. So even if I have just plain no-strings-attached sexual feelings for a man who isn’t married to me, I’m supposed to decide I’m emotionally tied to him because elder says that’s the truth about women.
If I know women who make money and support their families, I’m supposed to disregard their contributions because elder only thinks men work hard to provide for their homes not women.

See I’ve done this useless back and forth for years on nairaland and I know how it ends. That’s why I don’t bother anymore. And I don’t sympathize with any of you who gets cheated on. Because you are mostly the same at your core.

You all claim not to endorse male infidelity but your words say the opposite. (like you made a point to tell me) after making a long list of why men should get a free pass to cheat. So even if you get cheated on and made to raise another man’s kids, I have zero sympathy.

The only thing I can tell you is that men sleep women (at least the majority do). So while y’all are sleeping around, you’re sharing your women. It’s inevitable. There are only so many women, and men are even more in number. You can’t cheat without sharing.
We can’t accept your polygamous nature the same way you can’t accept our polygamous nature. Because we are also humans like you guys and hurt the same way when we are betrayed.
Don’t get mad about it.
Elder001:
Not trying to sound sentimental but men don't attach much emotional importance to sex but women do. A man fvcks because he wants to not necessarily because he has affection for the woman but most times a woman only fvcks when she has affection.
You also can't hold Nigerian men to the same standard because they suffer a lot just to provide for the family, I don't think any family relative will advise you to jeopardize what the man has to offer because he cheated. But, I repeat "no sane man will take back a cheating wife".

If a woman cheats on her husband and he takes her back note that the following is at play;
The woman is the breadwinner
The man doesn't have sense
The man is a sissy.

Dear Coco, it's time you accept the truth. Women are hypergamous in nature and you don't see men complaining neither can they do anything to stop it but why can't you women just accept men as polygamous?
I'm not in anyway justifying cheating by men though.
