Couldn't have said this better

Amarabae:
Thank you OP.
Feminism remains a very import concept for wome,
it opens a lady's eye and prepares you in know your rights and priority.
Desperation to get married is most time due to societal pressure and it has pushed many ladies to do some silly things and later get emotional hurt.
Staying with a guy when he is broke and you are hoping for him to use wedding ring as thank you is a bad calculation.
Stay with him when he is broke just because you love him and not be hoping for marriage.
Desperation for marriage makes a woman to be soft target for opportunists.
AND ALSO.
I believe that a lady should focus FIRST on being independent financially before looking for A Broke guy to help carry his broke cross.

All these poor or stingy boys here yapping about how she's better than other women. Maybe if you gave your stay-at-home women enough money that they have extra to save, it wouldn't seem like a miracle to see someone save this amount which is less than $2000 BTW undecided

I did not lie unlike others looking for sympathy, i said whenever I seldom bring up the ex issue is to correct her notion that she has never done wrong, I always hate to repeat the past, but she always feel am the devil while shes the saint. How nice
RadicallyBlunt:
I do not support violence on women. But i know a woman in my former neighbourhood whose mouth always had something to say no matter how much you pacify her to stop.

Her hubby who already know her doesn't argue at all, whenever he's tired of her talkativeness, he just lands one giant slap on her face and like magic she just keeps quiet. it really works like a miracle..she just stops talking after the single slap. The site was always very funny. Even as i type right now and remember the site, i still lol
Family › Re: On Domestic Violence And Career Women In Nigeria by cococandy(f): 6:28am On Jul 24, 2017
Read the first few comments and you'll see why it is so. The average male or female Nigerian is a misogynist even without their express knowledge that they are one. They will find reasons on earth and in heaven to justify the maltreatment of a woman. Domestic violence included.

Most of it is cowardice on the women's part because they are afraid to rock the boat. To look like they are rebelling and not be the mute doormat 'virtuous' women they have been into would be like suicide on their parts.

As for the men, it's not in human nature to fight against a system that favors one, so most of them endorse misogyny in all it's glory. After all, the religious books and all the books in history (of course written by men) say that's how it's meant to.

You may say "I don't support equality but I don't support domestic violence either". Umm... wrong. Only someone who sees another as beneath them will use violence and oppression to make their opinions known to the other. Once you're against equality, you've joined in paving the way for oppression and ergo domestic violence plus all the other consequences of inequality. It's really very simple.

grin grin
You're right and it's working.

Why not spoil your own woman see if she remembers her ex anymore.

Tell me why she shouldn't even talk to her ex when all you do is nag and talk about how the child she bore you was a result of a mistake and you would not have married her if not for family pressure.

No woman who wants to be loved will be happy living that kind of life where she feels like she's not good enough.

You alone are the cause and will be the solution of your marital problems if you put pride aside and learn to love her selflessly.

If he had married one of the demented puccies he destroyed, we won't be here having this silly conversation.

I hope one of you dimwits on this thread will end up with the other lady that had an abortion for the OP. That way you will all reap the rewards of uncontrolled male promiscuity that you refuse to condemn.

Did you read the part I said all our break-ups were because she refused sex with me. Why do she do this? My problem is why we had issues because of sex and she's getting it somewhere else?
Well Maybe she wasn't sexually interested in you then.

Don't take it personally.

I know some Guys have a hard time accepting no for answer.

Questions is: Did she get pregnant while dating you or was it in between one of your break ups? If it was during the time she was actively dating you, that means she cheated on you like you cheated on her with her neighbor. Meh. Goose. Gander. End of story. Sorry sha.

However if she got pregnant during one of the times when you guys were broken up, I don't see what the problem is.
Except that you can't imagine why she would want to fvck someone else but say no to you. Well news flash: Sexual attraction is a weird thing. Maybe she didn't have the hots for you then but she does now. Just enjoy the moment

How exactly do you imagine yourself better than her or in a position to judge her?
Please explain your thought process to me.

She didn't even have an abortion. She had a still birth. so you're judging her for having had sex before she met you meanwhile you've been a hoe about town? Explain yourself sir.

Then get a divorce let's hear word undecided

cjones500:
Does any responsible male or female here realise that there are ladies that lack the integrity of a real woman? I am sure none of these cretins are married or would have a successful marriage. My woman knows I cant do nada even if her ex came saying hi, like I said my maturity don pass that level. My wife lies too much and it ha been destroying the relationship gradually, only grace of hope that things will turn around is what I am still continuing with. The last lie she told about her whereabout caused me so much heart-ache, that I had to beg her to let me go, I could not muster the pain of having married to a dishonest woman, only married people here can feel me. I blv my expression that she should let me go was what got her emotionally troubled that led to her childish act. I repeat, I am 87% sure the ex was never there.
Family › Re: My Wife And Her Ex Issue. by cococandy(f): 3:39am On Jul 21, 2017
You've been married to her for 6 years.
She was doing the ex thing for a like year into marriage. (Calculating the 6 years you've been married).
Like you said, 4-5 years later she didn't mention anything about him but you always remind her about it because you need to remind her right??
She knows you're insecure about the EX understandably. She knows this, which is why she said you guys should leave the club when she learned he was there. Wise decision.

Please tell me again what this lady did wrong to you apart from the initial stage of the marriage when she used to talk to her EX.

All I can decipher from your post is that she is not who you wanted to marry (given the opening of your thread). After 6 years and a beautiful child, you are still clinging onto the fact that it was the pregnancy that led to the marriage. Shouldn't the beauty of having that child be an eraser of the circumstances that led to his/her birth?

You've been telling her that if you were some other man she would have been kicked out of the marriage. This is 4-5 years after she stopped talking to him. Not that she slept with him.
What does that say about your mindset towards the marriage?

You know you could have worn a condom right? I don't see what responsible man has unprotected sex one month into knowing someone and is still bitching about the results of his own action 6 years down the line.

Grow up. Stop talking about the ex and maybe she won't freak out on you when he runs into you guys in public. Except you're simply tired of the marriage. In which case you should man up and tell her instead of using something that happened 5 years ago as excuse.

They are hypocrites that's what it's all about.
Wanting to eat their cakes and have it.

bukatyne:
Splendid, thanks

Honestly, I don't get these people.

The whites who embrace this model 100% believe that the husband provides; it is part of the 'masculinity' and women are expected to keep the home 'feminity'. I even remember one of my threads where a guy said a 'feminine' woman doesn't drive or own a job. We have a lot of mommy wars were people think mothers shouldn't work outside the home and daycare kids don't turn out well.

It is here I see peeps want a wife ready to do 100% of the domestics and yet 'contribute/support' her husband financially; accuse women who are stay at home wives of being liabilities and denigrate a wife's contribution of domestics as nothing.

I tire.
