1) Paragraphs are really there for a reason. Use them.

2) she's supposedly bad. So what is the problem with her leaving?

More to the Point. You're a terrible person. The only thing you said she did to you was dressing the bed while you're still in it or telling you to move when she wants to sweep. Not ideal but not enough to label her as a bad wife.

That's why you told her two days before leaving the country and abandoned her afterwards? Really?

I'm sure the only reason you came back was because your work permit failed.

The universe would curse me if I ever agreed that women are liabilities after everything my mother and all my female relatives have done for me.

Not to mention the hardwork I've seen women especially in the Nigerian society do.

Cococandy, please I have the most important question on this thread so abeg answer:

WHAT DID YOU DO FOR HER HAIR TO GROW LIKE THAT?!!
the most important question cheesy

So I didn't cut it at all since she was born. Almost 17 months now.

I use Vaseline blue seal on it to keep it oiled and moisturized. You can use any gentle oil/moisturizer of your choice. Apply when the hair is damp so that it seals the moisture

I only comb it like once or twice a week to avoid breakage. I comb in little sections starting from the tips and then progress to the roots. It will reduce the pain for her.

You can use water as a detangler or buy a detangling spray to use before combing it. No detangler is better than the other in my opinion. I've used expensive ones and sometimes I use very cheap detanglers from the dollar tree, they all work the same and water works just as fine.
Just don't comb it when it's dry or dripping wet. Damp is best.

Protect the edges by avoiding styles that pull on the edges. And most important (I know you know this) no hard chemicals especially relaxers.

Oh and good nutrition but you already know that too.

Now let's talk about genitaliaa.
Having balls (scrotum) is supposedly a sign of strength. It's all too common for someone to ask "do you have the balls to do this or that?''

However even a 10 year old child learns very quickly how fragile those sacs and their contents are. Smh. Don't even look at them too hard or they hurt.

A pusssy (vvagina) that is supposedly weak, takes a pounding and is still like nothing happened to it. That same pussy bring forth a human being into the world and goes back to work unbothered.

Hmm says a lot about what the real problem is doesn't it?
Family › Re: Is Language The Greatest Foe Of Feminism? by cococandy(f): 4:00am On Jul 27, 2017
About that 'why are you driving like a woman?' question which is common in nigeria.
Research has actually shown that women drivers have way less road accidents than men.

Why they keep insisting on denigrating womanhood at any given opportunity, I still can't understand.

Family › Re: Is Language The Greatest Foe Of Feminism? by cococandy(f): 3:55am On Jul 27, 2017
You couldn't be anymore correct if you tried to.

Ever since my subconscious self woke up to these subtle indoctrinations of male superiority, I make great effort never to use those word or phrases in any situation. Sometimes I fail because I'm as much a victim of the society as anyone.

But I know That's how children are raised to think that anything feminine is subpar and then girls grow up with low self esteem which then affects their performances....but I digress. Not because they have actually done any research that proves feminity is inferior.

Feeble minded people tend to believe that male superiority is a divine order whereas it just a result of centuries of subtle indoctrination.

God said marry one wife, BUT if you have the capacity (both financially, physical fitness) you can marry 2 or 3. And also if you can live among 2women with justice and not biased, u can marry 2wives,not that after marrying the 2nd wife, u start maltreating the first wife. If you are not financially bouyant to carter for 2women, is not a most for you to go for the 2nd wife. And again, it must be with the consent and awareness of the first wife b4 marrying the 2nd wife. God didn't compulsory 2wives, but ONLY IF...

Your mom is brainwashed. Nothing spiritual here
Sadly, it might have to run its course before she will see the mistake she's making.

If she so insists on going to see the man, tell her someone will definitely have to go with so she doesn't end up on human parts dealers chopping table.

Ask her to think for herself: if the man has been truly promoted to brigadier general, why does she need to borrow money to go see him? Probably to help him with.

Just try to see if you can get her to use her reasoning abilities. I know it will be hard
