ETERRORS:Obama will need two interpreters: one for the english another for the accent. |
chukwudi44:It is supposed to be a lost cause, but these APC senators are desperate and Seem to have gone to ginger themselves up to come up with this tripe, anything can happen on in the Red chambers. They will always be feeling the pangs of pain everytime Saraki/Ekweremadu will be presiding over the house, to now add the fact that Saraki has succeeded in announcing principal officers is one blow too much for them to take. As for the HOR, let's just hope no one smuggles a Bazooka inside that house, because the way it is going there we might just discover new talents for WWF in Nigeria or real life columbine shootings in the Nass. |
ETERRORS:Hahahaha I laff! Imagine this scenerio! While Buhari will be taking instructions from Obama they will now beam Nigerias' Nass members fighting again over who should be principal officers. Buhari will watch it with Obama again on TV just like how Tinubu and APC senators watched how Saraki Sarakied them to become SP. Interesting times ahead! |
seunmsg:Why did he not use the same criteria in appointing a DG for the DSS. That's is most senior and most qualified, maybe most senior and most qualified high ranking officers in the DSS were all from a Zone he did not like, hence the appointment of a retired officer as DG. Buhari's appointments are suspicious. |
@ parrot I love the pictures. I want to see these guys play and hope all this paparazzi will be translated to scintillating sexy effective and purposeful football. Na league we wan win oo and qualify for CL proper and put up a good showing. I hear we can meet some stubborn unpredictable but reasonably good teams in the CL qualifying matches.. We have not seen these new guys play with the old guys, we only feel the right signings are being don and hopefully will translate to the type of soccer synonymous with United which ultimately means trophies. |
patrickmuf:This Lewandowski we are salivating about, Is he up for sale, does he want to play for United, will Bayern release him, is there any incline as to whether he is unsettled in any way at his present club, has his agent said anything that suggest we could poach him. Abi we can just wish him into United! If so, I wish Messi and CR7 to UNITED by fire by Force! ![]() |
Getting a striker is quite sensitive for us at this stage and the reason is Rooney! If we get a Lewandowski and Rooney is first choice it would be awkward having lewy on the bench and he won't be happy because a lewy is d kind of striker man U should be buying at this time. On the other hand the likes of benteke will be more accommodating being on the bench with a Rooney playing, he will hope he gets his chance. So do we buy a striker better than captain Rooney only to bench him or just buy a good striker who will be calm on the bench because captain Rooney must play? |
StarBoard:Its as simple as ur explanation. Don't mind Valdes, he wants to gain match fitness in an important match, he musta been praying De gea gets sold or injured. I never really had confidence in him sef. Let him go to stoke or the likes with his legendary status he will play even when he is injured. |
hensben: PietroRico: ![]() |
StarBoard:I don't understand this Di Maria rumour ooo and I don't like it. Is it LVG trying to sell him or is it Di Maria himself pushing for it with his agent. if its d latter, is he scared of competition from depay and Young knowing he is injury prone and it would take a miracle to get his place back if he gets injured and those two are putting up A performances. As per Cavani, I don't want that guy near a united shirt, talkless about putting it on. I still feel the team is unbalanced and many players will be unhappy on the bench, seems like na injury go help us rotate players. |
I wished we had brought back Nani and sent Januzaj on loan! |
parrotibaba:Are u sure? At real I could swear I saw him play mostly on the left. Its only in the national team I see him drift almost everywhere, left, right and center. He seems to be more effective playing on the leftwing or left midfield. |
From the time JEG conceded defeat to the time Buhari was sworn in, he ought to have atleast identified ministers for critical ministries like Finance, Education, and Health and then we can wait for the rest till now. How we don't have atleast a minister of finance as at now is not good at all, is he not getting advise from anyone? The funny thing now is someone else will come challenge this position with another claim and we continue to go round in circles. |
coogar:Guy, I remember the season we had almost all our defenders out. Let's hope thunder doesn't strike twice in the same team. coogar:Please can u clarify this for me! I believe depay plays on the left, di Maria and Young are players that naturally attack effectively from the left? Right? That means the right wing will be left for Mata, Januzaj and Valencia since a certain Damian has been bought. Does this not still make the team unbalanced since Mata is really not a rightwing player, Valencia is ... Well a one footed rightwinger and I believe a loan deal will suit januzaj just fine. With the likes of Herrera, schneiderlein, schweinsteiger, Carrick, Blind and Fellaini struggling for a place in the middle, Matas case becomes even more complex. Na LVG headache be that sha. My worry is, isn't the team still unbalanced. Except he still wants to play people in make shift positions or there would be a lot of unhappy players on the bench regardless of the number of games to be played. |
. |
MrTA:I expect us to win. 2nd would not be bad too, but I really expect us to win. If we end up buying 6players, I don't expect all will be played at the same time in a lot of matches, even if they all play together in some games. The likes of Mata, Rooney, Di Maria, Carrick, Blind, Young, Fellaini, Herrera, Valencia, Rojo, Smalling, Jones etc should know that they wear a Man United shirt and winning is a culture. Adding 2new signings in the mix for a game should not be an excuse. The winning mentality needs to be really emphasized to increase motivation. There are enuff games to go around to satisfy players and we are back in the CL. Injury is my only fear. |
I'd really like to see who our strikers would be, atleast one young and hungry striker, and we still need a CB. All in all we better win the league next season ooo. |
nyabinghi:Guy no mind starboard abeg, na so him dey do everytime. Try post that your convocation costume again so that it will intimidate him into having second thoughts about taking up your aptitude test challenge. |
APC will spend the next 2years smarting over losing the DSP position and real Governance will suffer. By the time they realise its a futile quest 2019 would have been upon them. Let's see how it goes. I think its a spurious allegation, they are looking for anything to remove Ekweremadu, his continuous stay as DSP is like an irritating sore on their foreheads. |

If this story is true, Tinubu will watch the campaign video where he was shouting and waving a broom like an drunk Banshee screaming "certificate or no certificate, Buhari is qualified" and start to weep! He might end up not having any Nominee in the ministerial list or Buhari might just pity him and appoint one of his nominee as minister of state of the minister of state of special duties - that would be Bisi Akande. |
Saraki seems to have succeeded in getting the SP seat and even appoint his principal officers. Is APC asking him to reverse those principal officers he has already announced or its from now on the "party supremacy" mantra starts. As for Dogara, this is where the real test of this meetings' resolve starts since he had not announced the principal officers. Let's see how it goes. |
If David Mark was desperate and over ambitious like Tinubu and Saraki he would have been senate president and the sky will not fall. They would not even be able to call him to a meeting to resolve anything. APC should actually be grateful to PDP! |
Goke7:Miscalculation ke! B4 I continue with you let me tell u that I am not an APC at all, I don't think Buhari is qualified and deserves to be President of Nigeria but I have to live with it. The problem that GEJ was just a vegetable who was not ready for leadership. So when Tinubu was pushing Buhari to victory with the wave of Change chanters, I believed we were in serious trouble. Buhari will have to do magic to convince me that he will turn things around and am not impressed this early stages. As per Saraki, he is ambitious and took advantage of the situation with his friends in PDP. Any one that seem to have Tinubus backing will be resisted in both houses because they feel they are independent and elected to be in the house. Tinubu backed Akume initially and then later shifted to Lawan because he wanted gbaja to be speaker of house. Not sure who Buhari was backing initially. |
wordcat:If this story is true! It is a sad development. Certificate or no certificate, Buhari is qualified! Waving Broom like Tinubu! |
yinka40:I tire ooo. That ministerial list will reveal a lot! |
Goke7:It is your flaccid skull that needs re examining! Lawan is seen as Tinubu's candidate to neutralise Saraki who Tinubu sees as over ambitious. Was it not Akume that was first in contest with Saraki for the position. Sit down there and be talking nonsense that Lawan was Buhari's candidate, Buhari who had said he would work with anybody- a very naïve position. It is now u know people want to reap where they did not sow, when they were accepting all sorts of characters into their fold while chanting chanji they did not realise they were carrying ant infested woods into their house. The consequences of that action is playing out now. |
bigass123: Rotimi47:He has no political ambition but wants to control things by placing his people in sensitive position like SP and SHOR. Now he failed. These guys Saraki and Dogara will do everything to frustrate his plans helped by their supporters in APC and PDP who are happy making things complicated for APC. |
Dayo2013:Which problem will he be able to solve if he can't successfully plant his stooges in sensitive and critical position. If you don't know, Saraki has more relevance in our polity than Tinubu as things stand. |
chukwudi44:You have buttressed my point. National leader with o electoral mandate is rawbish. |
Atlantian:I am not a Tinubu fan. Am just highlighting the hole he has boxed himself into. |
APC party supremacy = what Tinubu wants! Did Lawan ever say he wanted to be SP, is it not tinubu tht first flew that kite before lawan showed interest, and Tinubu did that because he wanted to protect himself and have control thru his stooge Lawan. Meanwhile Saraki had been nursing the idea of becoming SP for a long time. As for Dogara, he won fair and square and its the same reason that HOR don't want a Tinubu stoooge in Gbaja that's why he was rejected with the help of PDP who saw it as pay back time. APC shud better live with this mistake for the next 4years or they will complicate their matter. Tinubu don dey suspect Buhari, its the ministerial list that will confirm if he still has THE influence he is supposed wield. Akande was one of those whose name had been purported or speculated to be a minister. I think he has seen that things aint going their way hence his utterances that made Kawu Baraje describe it as rather unfortunate. Let's see how it goes. |
