Its the North am actually refering to with that statement. If we truly sit down and deliberate on the issue of having a regional system in this country, which region do u think will resist the most. The ND will gladly agree, Biafra is a given, the yorubas have also been clamouring for it and I believe the middle belt will also grab the opportunity. The problem will be from the NE and NW. Another issue that will be sensitive will be the adjustment of boundaries to clearly define what belongs to who especially in states like kwara. There could be a state referendum as to where a state wants to belong. This will help places like itsekiri decide if the want to be in d ND or SW, the ND will also be clearly defined from Biafra.

I just believe if the system we run now will take us 70yrs to be like Dubai, if we practise true federalism, with regional slant, even if we will still quarrel initially amongst ourselves it would take us just 15-20yrs to be like a dubai ones the differences are sorted out.

By the time tinubu, Bode George, Falae, Oyinlola,Fayose,Mimiko, Fashola, Odumakin, OBJ, Fasheun, Adams, Afenifere, obas and the young intelligent technocrats in yoruba land sit down in one room to forge the oduduwa land forward they will come out with something good for the land even if there would initially be tension. They will sort themselves out because they control their resources. Likewise other regions.

We don't exactly need to split, but we should have regional govts with one decentralised fed govt who would be responsible for just a few ministries, Agencies etc.

Just like how the england, Ireland, scotland and wales make up the uk with independent govts. Something in that manner.

There would be a National Assembly where members would come from the regions and all there welfare would be borne by their regions. So if the say 10 elected representative of the SW collect 5million naira per/M it would have nothing to do with reps from the SE if they decide to pay the reps 10million p/m because every region would be responsible for their resources only paying tax to the fed govt who uses it to maintain the few ministries like Foreign Affairs, Nigera armed forces, aviation etc. Regions would be responsible for things like education policies, health, agric, trade and investment (how u manage to attract FI to ur region is ur business) but remember that any foreign coy that a region attracts to its region would still have access to the Nigerian Market.

This will reduce the pressure at the center, regions can forge ahead by generating, transmitting and distributing electricity in their regions instead of this draconian policy we have now where if u generate electricity it must be attached to National grid and supplied somewhere else.

Every Region can stand alone and stand very well. We have the factors of production as we were thought in sch in abundance land, capital, labour and enterpreneurship. And who said regions can't do business with each other.

This something that can be worked out if SOME people will agrre.

We are now playing with the intensity andurgency I know united with which is impressive, only that we are a man and goal down.

The real enemies of Nigeria are challatans like you who reason from your bossom. Nobody is against the use of Card Readers but its effectiveness and if care is not taken, the devise will mar the elections. Are you so daft not to see part of the reports that records its lapses? What gives you the impression that such deficiencies will be corrected in less than 20 days from now? Why were those errors not rectified over 1 and a half years ago. Try to reason like an intelletual instead of behaving like robbots.

All they believe is that it is PDP that has made the card not to be as effective as expected.

Corpers can get killed for a card reader not reading a card, especially in the North.

The funny thing about all this is that once the card reader does not read a card it automatically means the card will be described as a cloned card which by all means means that that person should be arrested for attemptint to subvert a process. Exactly! During fergie's time when we lose a game we practically take it out on the next team. That's why we had a record of not losing 2games in a row for a long time. It was an abomination to lose 2 games consecutively under fergie's. Don't ask me how he achieved that.

Let me attempt answering your question. Like I said LVG as coach should/must know where each player is comfortable playing. This will help him assess where he needs to he needs to buy/sell. If a player says he is comfortable playing CF and has not been delivering assess and take a decision.

We might really not need to buy much but need to stop moving players all around the place and expect that they perform excellently.

Rooney has practically played everywhere on the pitch, Mcnair has suddenly become a RB, young is our auxilliary leftback, Fellaini has no position, Mata shifted left or right to accommodate someone, Di Maria, Jones, Smalling the same thing.

In a 4231 formation (assumming)

RVP/Falcao/wilson/(chicharito) fight for a spot

Di maria/Young, Rooney/Mata, Valencia/Janujaz/(Nani)

Blind/Herrera/Carrick (any two, although I feel it would be too soft for DM)

Shaw/Blackett, Rojo/Mcnair/Evans, Smalling/Jones, Rafael

Fellaini, like I said I don't have a permanent position for him but I admit he seems to be an impact player and gives us a diff option. I didn't think he was a United type of player but he has proven me wrong.

As per who to buy, I can't really say now. But I know that RVP does not deserve to start, Rooney does not know what he is doing, Falcao is a disappointment etc maybe LVG is d one causing it when he rotates the team with confusing formations and funny substitutions.

A six months old toddler stay on his feet longer than Falcao, with Rooney having the first touch of a rapist I doubt if anything will come out of that combo.

as a coach I believe he would have had a chat with all the players asking each where they are most comfortable playing and then use that inform to set up his team using his experience, but it seems LVG just feels his rubbish 532 possession football is the answer. How the other team is set up and injuries can alter the formations but this guy has shown so many times that he seems to be kinda confused, especially with his substitutions.

I believe Rooney, Falcao, RVP should be fighting for one position which will allow creative players like Mata and Herrera have more playing time, but all or of them must play according to LVG. I know leaving expensive players on d bench has its disadvantages but I'd rather bench an expensive player and win a game than play all of them to get rubbish results. LvG is too stubborn.

We really need to buy/sell this summer to balance this team.
