I wonder how Osinbajo, a professor of law and a pastor will interprete this Buhari's certficate issue after examining what the constitution says.

Its a shame some people are hell bent in turning logic on its head because they want an incumbent out.

And to say the onus is on the accuser to prove that Buhari does not have cert is laughable, he does not have so they have nothing to produce, him that says he has should be the one to show the cert and shame evrybody!

With people like Fashola, Fayemi, Osinbajo in APC it is a disgrace that a Prof will be pitched as an assistant to a certficateless Buhari when Naija is not a private company.

Buhari is simply not qualified to contest the election if he refuses to produce or does not have a FSLC according to the constitution.

If we bend the constitution for him then we have set a very dangerous precedence.

Nigeria is a funny country, minimum requirement for the highest office in the land FSLC while to be the CBN gov, or minister or head of a parastatal you will need to have a proper higher education with some experience to go with it and all these people will now answer to someone who cannot even produce a FSLC. So we don't know if he has or if he failed all his papers and is ashamed of it.

That part of the constitution we all know is just to accommodate the likes of Buhari who see education as Haram.

How can an executive office as that of the GCFR be left to school cert holders. the office of the CBN governor, Army cadets officers and other top strategic offices should also be left for O'level holder. He was already in the NA and when sent abroad for a training it is not the responsibility of the colleges abroad to ask for FSLC. It not their business as these courses are paid for.

But it is a requirement for an aspirant to the office of the president of the Federal republic of nigeria.

I get your logic that he is educated if he can go for those trainings and rise to become a major general, but would he have attained that if he didn't have the pre-requisite qualifications to enter the NA.

We know Buhari joined the NA and attended the training college which was later changed to NDA.

The question is how did he enter the NA?
What qualifications did he present before he was accepted into the NA?

If you enter the university with a forged certificate, will they prevent you from moving from level to level if you manage to succeed in bribing ur way paying lecturers to good results.

Or if you gain employment with a forged certificate and your office has sent you on numerous trainings even outside the country and then you are penciled down to be a director in that company with some other colleagues and it comes down to verification of certicates and the found out that the cert you presented just when you were employed was forged.

What do u think will happen? You will start telling them that the Original one is with your former employer!

We have to agree to disagree. I don't in honesty even believe in the this project Nigeria, let alone supporting any of it's political party. Why would I deny I support something if I do? I was hoping that by now they will be talking about issue related stuff but never. You don't have to be partisan to know that PDP is just the reincarnation of the old NPN. OP, you captioned all my views on this Buhari certificate debacle.

The certificate is not really the issue but the way and manner he went about it, shifting blame to PDP, the military board and now IBB.

If he knew his certificate was stolen by IBB soldiers then why didn't he state that in his first deposition at the courts?

It shows how unstable and wavering his defense and stance are on such a simple non issue which only he has himself to blame for blowing it out of proportion.

How will he then handle critical national issues when he can't even find his own certificates is it the long lost Chibok girls that he will finally locate?.

His handling of this simple matter also draws us to other issues such has his financial state which he wants us to believe is that of a humble states man. which constitution are you reading? What section of it that mandates candidate to SUBMIT their certificate to INEC?

The constitution stipulates a minimum requirement and INEC being the umpire needs to sight those credentials.

I know if you enter the uni with fake result, you are not prevented from going to the next level if you pass your sessions exams, if you are not exposed or caught in your 2nd term when your ssce/Wasc result are verified you will be discovered at the time you want to graduate!

Another aspect I don't understand as per his rising to being a general without passing any of his courses, then the revelation might really embarrass the army.

We are all Familiar with the quota system though so most will not be surprised. Just so that every region/state indigene must be represented we admit unqualified people to positions and deny genuine qualified people.
