Hmm. How has he contributed seven goals?
How many games has he played for United and how many hoals has he scored?

And gor goodness sake stop quotong figures ftom that mickey mouse Ligue one.
You may love Radamel Falcao, but I love Manchester United. I have no other club so I will say what I frel benefits the club and not the player. Right now Falcao is a passenger amd should take his rightful place on the bench while young James Wilson starts.
James should start ahead of Falcao?

We can see improvements in Falcao's game. James is actually regressing playing for the first team.
It would do james a whole lotta good going on loan somewhere?

Play james instead of Falcao in the present squad! Taaa!

Tottenham's changes in the middle has given them the impetus to push while our changes have been in the defence, with two guys just coming back from injury. no potent striker on the bench to freshen the attack or even midfield sef.

Falcao don fade away.

it's not their fault
they have been blessed with too many chances in a rush. young has been magnificent & mata has been iniesta-esque.
That's the point naaa, TOO MANY chances!

They should score one in a RUSH jor.

Young and Mata have been excellent. Mata should have atleast scored that cutback from Rafael, that's the kinda ball midfielders dream of to score.

too close to lloris by the time he brought the ball down. nothing he coulda done. rooney was 15 yards away when he applied the first touch that took the ball behind him.

nah....
RVP's first touch was in the box-6, too close to the goalie.
Will you say this if it was Rooney!

the others are half-chances with markers staying close to make last ditch tackles. rooney had the entire box to himself and still failed to control the easiest of a pass.

obviously Falcao is not very fully fit.
RvP needs to be told to kneel down hands up and face the wall for the 15mins break.

Falcao is definitely not fully fit. Maybe 70% fit. But he needs to keep playing to attain full fitness. But his movement is very impressive.

What are you even saying sef? Someone missed three obvious chances in a match, and it's not the first time and you are here talking, that I shouldn't have mentioned it even though I praised him to high heaven for other things?

When Rooney did a solo great job from midfield moving past three City markers into the box but only failing to shoot, it was over highlighted here as if Rooney committed murder. He only took the wrong option under tight marking. Yet I agreed he should have shot with his left foot instead of trying to beat the last man to his right foot.

Rooney is not pardoned for even half error, and all his good works in a match are forgotten when you guys start focusing only on his slightest errors.

Abeg just park. I don't even know why you had to bring Rooney into this matter.
You better calm down before you blow a gasket!

I have told you to stop assuming one persons opinion is everybodies opinion on this thread. There are always people that support different side of opinions on here.

Stop assuming people hate a particular player when he is criticized, we all can't have the same opinions about a player. You need to realise that.

Manchester Evening News Players Rating: Man United 3 Newcastle 1

Young
Has been outstanding in wing back role and he was again. Could have had a hat-trick of assists if Falcao had made contact with his inviting crosses 8

Falcao
On another day he would have had at least a hat-trick. His failure to connect with three inviting crosses from Young is evidence that he is still feeling his way back, but his movement was encouraging 7

MrTA, codedguy1, SailorXY. The above is what I wrote about yesterday. I want to believe now you guys watch matches with sentiments, so you don't see what 'new wives' do wrongly on the pitch. Only the 'old guys' who have been around must be doing anything wrong.

Although, Codedguy1 agreed there was at least a chance that should have been scored.
I agree, Elampiro is the only objective person on this man United thread. The only one who can detect hatred when someone berates rooney and that person can never berate rooney because he holds rooney to high standards just like when Elampiro criticizes another player.

We are all sentimental, except Elampawa!

You no understand my point.

However I am nt hating on him. Unlike what we see here about Rooney. Before I criticized Falcao, I had praised him. It's good you were able to remember one chance he missed. To me, there were three balls he could have scored from, and one was a chance FALCAO was expected to score so easily.
There were two critical crosses fron young that we expected Falcao to score, one was clear chance he missed, the other one had the ball slightly deflected which made his run early and so he could not get the ball as described by the commentator. You can't possibly blame hime for that!

His movement is very good and lively and I have said earlier that Falcao needs the ball early. I also noticed that he has a problem contrlling the ball when he receives it, as if he is in a hurry to execute whatever he wants to do and then gets the ball entangled btw his feet.

Good all round play at the end with all the starters having a good game.

Falcao did well but he keeps missing clear cut chances. I know he will be great for us eventually.

Wilson keeps regressing.

Let's carry on like this.
How many clear cut chances, apart from the one that he shud have scored the others were not clear cut.

Actually this would become the bane of a united Nigeria. This owing to the fact that even within regions even tribes, we still have classism. In a country like Nigeria discrimination still has its occurence within tribes. Say yoruba's for example we have the (ondo's, Ijebu's, Egba's e.t.c) and each group still holds doctrines the other group opposses. Still, such groups are thus composed of smaller groups, but there is as much difference between even the small groups; as Chief Obafemi Awolowo put it, as much "as there is between Germans, English, Russians and Turks".
The whole idea of regionalism would actually create much more disorder and conflict than already is. Forget not it was the bane that caused our Nation's known civil war
The reason why some state govt have not paid is because of the system we run! How the others have paid is a mistery. Going to collect allocation from abuja to pay salaries is what has brought this nonsense of workers not receiving salaries b4 christmas because oil prices have fallen and there is no money.

When Okonjo Iweala was asking that we save some excess a few months ago the Govs and some members of NA cried that the excess money shud be shared, now we are in a delima and everyone thinks Buhari will be able to sort it out. We are seeing that GEJ also can't do shit.

Regionalism will diversify the economy quicker than we can ever think, where every region/state can generate/distribute electricity and then attract investments which in turn will address unemployment issue.

Yes there would still be ethnic problems in some place but I don't think it would be that bad.
PoliticsRe: This Is Unfair, 22 State Governors Owing Workers Salaries. by codedguy1(m): 8:48pm On Dec 25, 2014
We will continue to go round in circles in this country until we decide, if possible, forcing ourselves to do the right thing!

The question is, what is the right thing?

With this present structure Jonathan and Buhari can't do natin, both groups will continue to pillage the country if/when they get into power.

The right thing (which might not exactly be perfect but will easily get this country to reach its potential faster than what we have now) is to decentralize the govt and go back to regional govt.

The South South will be rich with the oil and can work on Tourism as their Comparative advantage for economic groth.

South East are predominantly commercial people and will exploit that to the fullest.

South west are service providers and enterpreneurs.

The North central are known for having good agricultural base.

North west and East can also start commercial exploitation of mineral resources and use their wide expanse of land for agric.

These exploits are not exclusive to d region I put them.

Because the Money mainly comes from oil in the ND it is believed that if we agree to this that the ND will be stupendously rich while almost all other regions will suffer and so there would be serious resistance to this, but it does not have to be so cause south south cannot drink the oil, they would need to trade with other parts and that's what will keep us one.

Once we do this, things like ministry of power, education, health, works, agric etc will be the policy that each region wants to follow.

There would be a national Assembly with reps from the regions and they would be maintained by their regions.

These are a few of the suggestions I feel will make us even stay closer as Nigeria!

That's my suggestion sometimes ago here, immediately, everybody here started questioning my opinion. I came up with this now, u were still barking like dog. Set of hypocrites. Give us ur opinion, let's hear it.
If you suggest we dissolve the whole entity called nigeria and people questioned you does not mean that you then agree to be a SLAVE because you think that's the best option..

You are fickle, if dissolving is where u stand, stand and stick with instead of succumbing to threats from from people who will wipe you of the face of the earth the slightest chance they have. To make it easy your suggestion of being a SLAVE makes it easy for them to achieve their cleansing with ease.

If you think you are free as a slave I suggest you embrace my earlier suggestion to be truly free.

Some mistakes are pardonable. For Rooney's performance today, he ought to be pardoned for any error in the final 3rd. Even though most of his passes were square, it is not easy to come out with 93% pass accuracy from 90+ passes pairing Fletcher. He also did well defensively.

You keep assuming.... That's why when you argue you end up tieing yourself in tortuous knots!

You assumed I was talking about the perfect pass Rooney gave Rvp for his miss.

You now assumed again that by insisting what I meant was the mistake I make in the substitution of RvP for wilson and insisted I dragged people to think that? Who are these people.

You are now assuming again that I highlighted Rooneys poor control just to diminish RvP miss. When those two incidence were, how do they say it again, MUTUALLY EXCLUSIVE!

van persie's sub ruined it for us.
wilson played worse than van persie & van persie is the type that has late goals in him....especially a 10-man villa. the substitutions ruined our tempo & we played better against villa's 11 men.

if we beat spurs & the toon army, this result won't matter to me. 19 points out of the last 21 is decent but this is one of the matches in that 7-game-run you would have expected us to win with aplomb.
It was just a few minutes after subbibg RvP for Wilson that the red card came. I don't think Lvg would have removed RvP if the red card came while Rvp was on the pitch.

Wilson, Evans and Fletcher need to rediscover what their talents are - maybe guinea fowl hunters or something because right now they don't even look like ball boys in a primary sch match.
