It is almost the same squad as the one that played liverpool in capital one cup and that was one of our best performance this season.

Truth be told it is clear that that the problems of the team is coming from diff depts, coach, players, management etc.

Another truth is that, players seem disjointed in there play, they can't seem to do simple basic things without labouring. Vpersie has been struggling, this is as a result of him not getting the ball and has to fall back to do what he aint suppose to be doing, meanwhile the Rooney who is supposed to be feeding him has also dropped back to assist the midfield that is occupied by slow men like carrick and fellaini.

Rooney seems to have forgotten his primary role, he always drops to the back to start pinging balls all over the place as if that's what will give us the 3points. There is then a vaccum btw midfield and van persie or there is no attacker if VP has also dropped.

Oghos1: FINALLY! Someone dat understands dat united's problem is wayne rooney. Wayne Rooney is like a cancer for our club. He thinks he's bigger than the club, and demands to be treated in such a manner. He is also our best player, making it hard for us to turn his requests down. He is the kind of player you can't just leave on the bench because we've become so reliant on him, but he also restricts how we can line up our strongest 11 by playing the same position as either RvP or Kagawa. He is keeping us afloat but limiting our potential for growth (granted, we could drop RvP and it would pretty much the same effect).
For the long term footballing health of the club, Rooney needs to go. It will hurt at the beginning, but in the long run it will help us. We should ship him abroad to whomever will pay over £20-25mil for him. It is surely less than he is worth (he's at least a £40mil player in all honesty) but since we need him gone we'll have to settle for that price.

There are many peeps on here that believe Wayne Rooney is united's biggest problem and should have been hauled of in the summer, yet there are those that think DM is the worst thing that happened to United. Some believe we have too many mediocre players in a club like united. The truth is, its a bit of all of this reasons. The unexpected resignation of fergie and the charade of a transfer we had in the summer is also contributing.

Truth be told, I for one is still willing to give DM a chance, but he needs to learn faster. We have somewhat given him at least 10games to be able to conclude on his abilities and ambitions this season, before we come to terms of where we feel we will finish this season.

Not qualifying for the CL will be a disaster to say the least.


Sorry! There are also some that Rooney is best thing that has/can happen to United! Infact, to them Rooney is a god!

That said I still believe with the right support Moyes will make it, the only thing that can give me hope is the unpredictability of this season, but that unpredictability can also bring an obscure team to reckoning.

United is 12th on the table after 6 games, thank God Newcastle is looking like losing this game, we would have gone to 13th. This is getting funny!

This season is really gonna be unpredictable. With arsenal at d top and we all know how they capitulate at the crucial month will give other teams hope, Mourinho and chelsea seem not to have found their feet but still maintaining a reasonable level on the table, spurs looking like they will make top 4, suarez and sturridge proving to be a deadly combo etc.

Boys are not smiling at all. Well I feel Moyes needs help, he needs people to rally round him now. I understand that he might have been given a free hand, but this is United ooo if things are going down south drastic actions should be taken, in this case assisting Moyes.

Moyes can as well hlp the situation by keeping quiet, I think he is overwhelmed and scared that he is the one in charge of a great team like Man U who had a legend of a coach called fergie and things are getting ugly in his watch and this will further make him make erratic decisions and utterances that will further erode the confidence the fans have.

I already gave my expectations of Moyes this season.
