HigherEd: You see country wer get sense. Why fully peg your currencies on highly manipulated dollar. The US has printed over 30% of all US dollar in circulation only in the last two years. It would export the inflation to other countries like ours.
We should start looking to crypto even nationally. It creates an even playing ground. Though cryptocurrency is still volatile and open to influence so many factors seasoned economist may not immediately process. |

TessBiwom: The school fees is not cheap.I think in the entire south east state owned university, EBSU fees is quite expensive. For a non-indigene ,I paid over a 100 plus for a section for the five years I spent in that school. the school management don't really care and there's no proper planning.I remember my final GST exam was slated for 9 a.m and I got to perm site as early as 8 a.m without eating anything and I wrote that exam around past 5pm. l was lucky because my name was on the system that day. some persons didn't take the exam that day and I'm certain, they came early like I did. Alot needs to change. I was heartbroken when I saw the videos last night. N100,000 is fair enough though one of the highest for public uni around. These are some of the areas NUC need to start probing into because student welfare can negate other aspect of their efforts. Why keep student waiting for extra 8 hours ? That sounds like a ploy to disorient them to increase failure rate and by extension 'sorting' rate. |

Brendaniel: If all his efforts ended up making the average Nigerian poorer then he doesn't deserve to be president
If you did not understand this, then I don't think you even understood what I wrote, I stand with my statement and not what you think I should think, you are telling me that I should say I don't believe in him, this man has ruled before and what did he do, before Buhari came to power I believed in him so much, but after his first years, he proved he is not worth it, same thing goes to tinubu and every other politician who has handled an office, they only ended making the average Nigerian poorer, so this is not about believe, it is a tested fact, so shove your believe down your throat because it has nothing to do with believe.... Seem you have a specific alternative in mind but cannot mention his or her name? Why not mention that person who wouldn't have made Nigerians as poor as they are now and let's see. I doubt anybody who ever occupied a public office will have a better chance than Tinubu here. No state gov is performing anything special. |

Lol . . . better late than never.
I cannot seem to understand why you will grow corn(crude) then sell it to a pap maker(foreign refinery) and let them add a sizable profit before you then buy back the pap(petrol) at an inflated cost. All the while your wife and kids were jobless and capable of making pap from corn(run a refinery). We equally do same with cocoa when as one of the major coca producers, we export cocoa to import chocolate and other cocoa based candy. |

Brendaniel: If all his efforts ended up making the average Nigerian poorer then he doesn't deserve to be president, same goes to every politician who have been in office or supported those who have been in office... Daft reasoning. The candidate he supported has no bearing on his own chance or right to be president. It is better to say he shouldn't be president because you do not believe in him. I don't neither. |

alphaNomega: The day you understand why our national refineries are moribund, you would come back to laugh at this your post.
Nigeria can build 10 refineries. It is not waiting for one man. This is a design.
I can assure you, you will be disappointed Nigeria was designed to favour a region and that's all. As long as you have both north and south apologist in the oil sector we won't go forward in that sector. As evident by the location of Kaduna refiner, the northern elements want the oil in the ND to benefit them according to how they planned out Nigeria but there is a resistance from the southerners within and the north will rather destroy the public oil assets then allow a private northerner to come and finish the job smoothly. Dangote is that northerner. |

NO TO STEADY POWER SUPPLY .... SO THAT PEOPLE WILL CONTINUE TO BUY PETROL PRODUCTS ....

Ibeto too had a fair share of cement business but preferred importation to local production. Even though we risk monopoly with Dangote, local production trumps importation any day and anytime. |
