Really? Thought their job was to improve the life impacting policies and maintain order. |
Garri, which is largely a local staple food has seen a near 100% price increase for no specific explainable cause. Rice too. Yam too. Why? |
scoundrel:Serious incompetence there. |
I wonder if God is also sending them Coronavirus as a punishment for their global atrocities against mankind. |
They say failure to plan is a plan to fail. We don't have a robust cashless system yet so the banks need to support the cashless infrastructure with some level of cash handling activities. Overall we aren't prepared for things like these. |
What's the latest in testing kit gears?
Any test that below a dollar or around a dollar and fast enough? |
There is no specific cure or superfood that can be consumed in crazy amount to boost your covid-19 chances. Normal food that boost immune like ginger, garlic, citrus, pepper, fruits, nuts etc are good but taking them in high quantity isn't of any quick help. just go slow. Garri has seen a near 100% price hike because of greed. When I observe well, all the garri production stages from planting of cassava to frying of the garri haven't been affected in any special way by Covid-19 but we are our own problem with our excesses and greed. |
benuejosh:Keep consoling yourself. Ours is still behind in a sense because we came in contact last plus I believe our immune system is slightly ahead of many whitemen own. |
That's scary o. like minimum of 15 every hour or one every 4 minutes. God help us o. |
That's remarkable but it might just be a result of their general lifestyle and immune level. They have a lot of those immune boosting herbs like jing-seng though. |
Day what are in the Nigerian lockdown? Not aware of the timing o. |
Bluntguy:You try for this comment. 50 likes for you. If one billionaire can buy one of those 15 minutes testkits like 1 million unit of them. It will make serious sense. |
Locks down can still aid their new strategy of testing but it has its own disadvantages too. Its bring a false sense of security and relaxation. |
Do we take antimalarial drug in anticipation of malaria? Or go for radiotherapy in expectation of killer cancer? The answer is NO, and therefore I wonder why people are hoarding and consuming chloroquine in anticipation of Coronavirus. From news filtering in around the world, the pattern seems to point to people with immune weakness more than any other group. If you overdose on or develop chloroquine resistance before Coronavirus comes to your door step then blame your own self for carelessness. My advice: just maintain a good immune system and keep the social distancing limits. I know it isn't easy but panic has never solved anything. In fact, panic has always killed more people during plagues in Africa more than the plague itself. Ebola and salt water is still fresh in our memory. |
Nigerians believe whispers and rumours. And they do it most when it is coming from one of the tribesmen or clique. I remember the Ebola episode and how even riverine Ijaw people who had seen the firsthand the danger of salty water were running to use salty water for Ebola. They can easily loose their thinking cap when stúpid info comes as whispers. The use of Ginger, Garlic, chocolate, lemon, citrus and nuts etc are just immune boosting food. They cannot cure Coronavirus but boost your chances of survival. Nigerians ehn. |
So malaria and cancer killing many times more people than Coro didn't make OP conclude on God but only Coronavirus did? OP try put on your thinking cap now. |
Eriggs:A senseless reason for divorce it is. |

Okay? ? E get as e be o. The man can't run away with jet to UK. Make some Āgbó for him now...with your BBQ skills. |
UK is not an option for medical check up so let him take Āgbó like every other Nigerian has been doing in our paracetamol-less clinics. |
senatordave1: |
let him go for top medical care in UK...lol |
TETFUND hasnt delivered |
oil prices are down once more. |
Funny. Just one man close to power has reached out to many top people. |
Shutting down schools churches and mosgues is manageable for most people but market...I doubt. |
chris4gold:As u jump into the usual victim mentality rant of the rejected stone, remember the man has no track record in medical equipment making. Even his auto venture is largely an assembly plant. He is just a business man looking to mask his greed or drive to profit from a plague as charity. There are more capable hands then a assembler of modules in one corner. |
Amanda4life:One time like that I heard Dangote was planning to build a N200Bn university, the man might just speed it up with this or even go for a mega medical center as well. COVID-19 is exposing the world's helplessness o. |
No o... COVID-19 Shouldn't near Dangote o. The man is still trying more than 100 of our leaders combined. Imagine if just 25% of our mega looters alone invested their loot in our backyard like Dangote, Nigeria will be somewhere else today. COVID-19 should leave our smart but artificial billionaire alone o. |
