Imo, if the FG gives some of these unis more autonomy they will perform even better but certain things have to be addressed first.

Politicians
Royal fathers
Religious leaders
Government Officials (Including the Police and the Military)
The masses (especially the partisan, tribal and religious ones who queue behind politicians and religious leaders)

Democracy is a system of government where power is vested in the community. Nobody is going to hand you power on a platter of gold. You have to take it.

Mathew 23:23 is not talking to christians, Here Jesus was talking to the pharisee, the teacher of Judaism which is the religion of Israel and the Judaism is still the religion of israel up till now. If you can read please google what is the religion of isreal. If you truly the follower of christ (christian) you not suppose to pay any nigerian or any lazy pastors 10% of your money. Even in Judaism Law tithe is not money, its proceed from a farm. Remove tithe paying from churches and you watch things go down. To even pray for you would be one hell of a thing to do.

What was Christ's mission on earth? Does it include riches? How about the apostles? How come they never operated on the principles as today's men of God?
My issue is that we are called followers of Christ but we choose to live the life of pre Christ Israelites.

Jesus lived under the law ie mosaic age and he was talking to d jews. Christian age started after d death and resurrection of Christ. Even at that u can still hear Jesus not putting so much weight on tithing in dat portion of d Bible. This is not d case with d tithe pastors today. That is d bedrock of all dia sermons today. Pls mention one apostle of Christ or any of d disciples of Jesus that paid tithe in d new testament. Christians never paid tithe read d book of acts of d apostles it covers d teachings and d practices of d early church and u will never find tithing. Pls study ur Bible and stop believing pastors. Remember there are three dispensations in d Bible: the patriachs, mosaic and Christian age each come with a different practices and laws. Tithing is never a practice under the Christian age. Or are under Judaism ie d mosaic age? Think about these with clear mindset.
