Probably this has geared them towards hoarding information from the government and the general public. In any case, I buy your suggestions because it will help build our universities. Come to think of it, how many public universities can be funded by private individuals in Nigeria? Are you sure of the bold? I used to think it was done internally by the school. Maybe that's why a son-of-the-soil is always VC to most federal universities. |

That's different from the prayer tongue or language to God which Paul taught in 1 Cor. 14.
What Enechie and the rest doing is pure madness because when you pray in tongues no man can understand but your spirit communicate with God, you are to do that in your privacy not in public.... There have been cases where tongues spokennin winner here in Nigeria was confirmed by Bulgaria nationals as their language. The problem is that you may not know where the language you are speaking originated and it will be a matter of chance to find one who happens to understand that language and will be hearing you as you speak. |

That's why you see millions of registered voters in some quarters.
Imagine someone carrying 8 pvc. It is well sir. Nigeria is not a proper country I tell you. The funny thing is that southerners are the ones enforcing the single PVC rules mostly. There should be a central and super computer that matches fingerprint from every new registration against every other existing one. This thing requires a lot of computer resource but isn't out of the reach of Nigerian govt financially and infrastructurally. |

diadem10: Ole. Friends of Atiku and Mr juicy position, Saraki.
If only people knew what oil countries such as Angolans and Venezuela folks are passing through during this global crude oil price recess, they would thank God Buhari came in rather than Jonathan who looted us dry during oil boom when it was selling at $110 per barrel for five years unlike the paltry $50 it has been selling under APC. If the looting Jonathan couldn't save during the time of plenty and was already borrowing, how would he have carried on during this crude oil price recess?
Despite Buhari administration earning 60% less yet he's come up with plenty projects such as
Our railways at itakpewarri, Lagos-ibadan, kaduna-abuja etc,
The production of low cost fertilizers,
Zik maoseleum
Baro inland port,
Rice mills,
Foreign reserve increase from $26b to $43b,
Construction of our express highways such as enuguonitsha, Lagos-ibadan etc.
Social policy schemes such as tradermoni, npower etc
Payment of all pensions of airline staffs that were forced to retire after the shambolic privatisation by Atiku. PDP didn't pay them in the last 16 years.
And most especially, stabilizing us through this recession which happened because jonathan failed to save despite earning 60% more than Buhari coupled with the fall in the price of crude oil from $110 per barrel in 5 years under Jonathan to a paltry $50 per barrel under Buhari administration yet Buhari was able to keep us afloat while having many projects to his name thereby surprising Ngozi Iweala and Charles Soludo who predicted recession because jonathan looted and failed to save during the time of plentiful.
Sai Baba. PDP, Neva again Stop the blind campaign. Why has herdsmen killing suddenly gone down this dry season period? We know when a man is being good in the meantime to gain trust and finish us off. |

Is it possible to have multiple pvc?
If yes, can the person use them all to vote?
People have multiple pvc in the North..... I don't know how they pulled that off.
Someone may be seen carrying as much as 8pvc.
These might not be stolen... One person just manipulate his name's and get registered multiple times.
What is INEC doing concerning this? Thank you sir. A close inspection of the PVC registration process shows that there is no provision for prevention of multiple registration. People just assume because they are registered with computerized processes, there must be some form of check for this. It is a quiet scam. |

@asuustrike1, good suggestions but it will be better or far better if they can be made to open their books to the public. Harvard as rich as it is open her books or at least give a breakdown of how donation to the school is spent and the result is a multi-billion dollar endowment fund and hitch free research.
In Nigeria, every school has autonomy or immunity from the law establishing it and this has led to mismanagement of funds. Look at LAUTECH, they didn't agree to open their books to Aregbesola of Osun state even if it meant the students losing many years to strike. Argbesola must have seen the discrepancy in quality when compared to UniOsun.
Why can't our schools open their books to the public? Is research so secretive in nature that we can't see a breakdown of their expenses? |

In advances nations schools are more willing to open their finances to the public, even private schools there do it, and it helps them attract hundreds of millions of dollars in donations. Why can't our own ASUU demand this from our public universities if they must demand more funds like some foreign schools? If the schools aren't corrupt and hiding things why cant they do this?

Programming › Re: The Difference: Framework Versus Library by CodeTemplar: 7:44pm On Feb 14, 2019 |
A library is like a toolbox. framework is like a customizable foundation you can build upon that is in itself build with help of libraries and other things. Frameworks are rigid and structural in nature while libraries are modular in nature. |
Programming › Re: The Difference: Framework Versus Library by CodeTemplar: 7:40pm On Feb 14, 2019 |
asalimpo: Your explanation of what a framework is,is confusing. A framewrk is like an uncompleted building. You can build to your taste on the prebuilt structure you acquird but only within certain restrictions. E.g. You cant build a skyscraper on a foundation for a duplex. You can pour d concrete for the pillars but they must b within the structure defined by the mesh of steel rods that hold d concrete. You can use wood or alumium for the window frames but you cant extend d frame space etc. With a framework, you are building off of a preexisting, predefined structure. With a library, think interms of appliances. When u want to watch a movie/tv,you dont melt plastic nd weld electronics to create one-first rather, you go out nd buy1. Ditto, freezing food, combing ur hair brushng ur teeth etc. You think in terms of using with little or no modifctions to d product acquired. You can swap out a library or even use more than one similar libraries (e.g use different tv's in d same house),but with frameworks, you build on preexisting structures. Read what OP posted again. He hit the nail on the head. |

The first to be completed (even though it wasn't 100% complete but an outgoing CBN needed it commissioned before retiring) was the one in ABU. The COE Nsukka had delays because the contractor's lead made away with 100s of millions. The UI COE was delayed by about one year because the contract got revoked due to non performance by the Contractor who I believe was RCC. Project Cost was about N6 bn. any links to support these? |
