I need Amen to this too

According to the Pyrates, the "Magnificent Seven", as they called themselves, observed that the university was populated with wealthy students associated with the colonial powers and a few poorer students striving in manner and dress to be accepted by the more advantaged students, while social life was dictated by tribal affiliation.
Now did the poor student go to school to be accepted by the more privileged students? or this is just another way of saying the non aristocrats wanted to have some feel of the aristocrats enjoyed?

Before Nigerian universities existed there has been cultism around the world. We need to learn how to stop looking at the human vessels through which it was birthed in our schools and start being conscious of the devil behind it.

Controlling spirits exist in people who didn't pass through the four walls of schools also.

Same NNPC that can't run refineries well. They are also build power plants in the north when there is a functional power ministry.

So NNPC has 52 clinics operating in 36 states exclusively for NNPC staff alone. So much fund wasting in this country.
The problem I see here isn't that of wastage of funds by NNPC.
It is the new pattern whereby northerners dominate any big money earning parastatal and then start doing projects meant for other ministry through it in their region. Same pattern is also being adopted for power and gas pipelines where a four billion USD power plant and pipeline project in abuja kano Kaduna (AKK) under the eyes of power ministry is being carried out by a NNPC who can't run refineries properly.

Will d Presidency or our politicians use it? Infact do NNPC bigshots use it demselves? Why is dis govt intent on fooling itself and some Nigerians.. D same President and his Family who cannot make use of a whole Aso Rock Clinic with all its National budget... Are any of d NNPC clinics specialist hospitals?
The problem I see here isn't that of use by politicians.

Dutch police have arrested seven men accused of planning a major terror attack with suicide vests, assault rifles and car bombs – led by an Iraqi arrested last year for trying to join ISIS in Syria.

The suspects were detained after flash raids by heavily armed police in Arnhem, about 62 miles south of Amsterdam, and Weert in the southern Netherlands, close to the borders of Germany and Belgium.

The alleged leader, named by Dutch media as Hardi N, was a 34-year-old Iraqi who was convicted last year for trying to join ISIS along with two other men. He wanted to attack a 'major event and make many victims', according to prosecutors.

In Arnhem, where Hardi N lived under a residency permit, police backed up by surveillance helicopters forced open a door to a house and threw smoke bombs inside. Explosions were heard, but it is not clear where these came from.

Two of the other suspects, who ranged in age from 21 to 34 and were found with five guns, had also been convicted of trying to join ISIS.
They were also trying to obtain AK47 assault rifles, handguns, bomb vests, grenades and raw materials for bombs and were looking for opportunities to train with the weapons, according to prosecutors.

In Weert, police also found a white hire van similar to those used in previous vehicle attacks, including London Bridge.

How will trade liberalization work out if people like Dangote who enjoy protection suddenly become exposed to competition from African nations producing cement, sugar, flour and petrol?

There are many beautiful theories that may not work in Nigeria like other developed nations because of systemic corruption.
The man-know-man factor in Nigeria is a huge huddle.

Can they just reduce the fees?
They don't reduce fees but give scholarship to those they can and open the remaining slots for the best among those who can afford the fees.
The fee level is partly responsible for the standard they offer and lowering it will amount to lowering the school standard. Get it?

Any school that does not allow the Independence of differing thoughts to flourish is best regarded as a kindergarten. Ascribing the status of an advanced secondary school is even far too generous
Even the so called cultism schools have rules and regulation which they admit are normal. The fact that these cultism sch don't enforce their rules doesn't make them better.
And remember the rules were laid out before admitting students in. So it is only a 'child' that will agree to something and start asking for another when he gets what he wanted initially.
If controlling spirits and tuned souls held solutions to mankind's problem there will be no need for universities.

Landmass is something given to schools by govt.
