babasolution: what do you want them to do,when there is no live equipment to learn with, what else will they do??they are left to learn on the job,you then castigate them One of the flimsy excuse that landed them in the unemployable state is what you just sampled again. For example, in Computer Engineering a typical uni undergraduate isn't suppose to see things like motherboards, RAM and HDD in lab while undergoing their B.Sc program. It is the students who erroneously think Computer Engr in Uni is same as Computer Engineering Technical Certification where they get to learn PC repairs. Most times the syllabus thought is very similar to what the teach in advance nations. |

TooNoisy: While I agree with you on the various points you made about continuous improvement, your headline statement is very wrong.
The truth is that young Nigerian graduates are not given the same opportunity to succeed as some of their peers in the developed world. When unemployment is very high as it is in Nigeria, the few opportunities available become extremely competitive and people are eliminated based on some flimsy excuses. Besides the best of the few opportunities will go to the children of the high and the mighty leaving fewer opportunities to the regular people.
The same Nigerian graduates go abroad and succeed. Our people are succeeding in the UK, US, Canada and several other countries. If some of these people did not travel abroad, their careers may never have started in Nigeria and you folks will say it is because they are unemployable. That is very judgmental and wrong. Our current political and economic climates limits the number of people that can succeed in Nigeria. A country where the budget for the 600 people in the National Assembly is more than most States in the Federation.
Nigerian graduates are actually victims of the society and not unemployable. Work on you EQ. Many of them are actually unemployable. I worked as a technical staff in a financial institution and know what OP is saying is 99% true. 85% of IT certification holders crammed to pass them and can't defend them. |

Nelsizzy: So depression is determined by what institution one attends and how much school fees is paid? The fees would made him consider his parents effort if paid wholly by them. That doesn't mean depression doesn't exist. |

Amberon11: Op I believe you. Too many people are so daft they cannot analyse or even comprehend issues before jumping to attack posters whenever their "anointed" are being exposed.
I have a very strong conviction in mybheart that the self acclaimed apostle is not of God. There is not a single fruit of his which shows he is of God.
He talks carelessly, is boastful, I'll mannered, desecrates the altar of God by abusing fellow ministers on it, etc etc etc.
After the otobo incident, I realised that similar issues had been raised against him in the past. I even saw some topics here on NL from women who were allegedly abused by the apostle. Mind you this was long before the Otobo incident.
Even on Emmanuel TV, there has been two instances where people were going to expose apostle Suleiman but TB Joshua prevented them from speaking. Thank you. People don't know the fruit to look for in MOG any longer. They just suppport them like football team. I enjoin OP to study the bible(not mere reading) and link up with proven ministry like winners & redeem(others exist also). Get books, tape and relate with Jesus personally. |

Christianity Etc › What Is The Essense Of Religion? by CodeTemplar(op): 10:01pm On Mar 08, 2018*. Modified: 5:07pm On Dec 20, 2020 |
What are the things a religion should do in man's life to show that man has found the right religion? Should it be effortless wealth, health, or brilliance like in the garden of eden in the Holy Bible, or fame, good job, love, charity, generousity or to grow old and have seeds ?
There should be something that we assume a true religion must address in a man's life to prove the authenticity of that religion.
I will like to hear from every single Nairalander. |
