By the time una don wear all the hairs or weave-on of all the oyinbos, una eyes go clear. Peruvian hair ko, Somalian hair ni. Very soon una go start to dey buy pub[i][/i]c hairs too. Na only naija women dey craze for European and Asian hairs. Have you heard them tryna buy African or Nigerian hair?

But hey I'm not asking anyone to share my views. I know you're from Ekiti and am from there as well. Ado-Ekiti precisely. I'm not asking for a magical transformation either but am saying priorities have to be set and gotten right. Let's start with the basic and not vague endeavours. What need is there for turning governor's office to a hotel? Pray tell. And that building is right near the government quarters! Where's the sense security in that? Ado-Afao road is in deplorable state and so many others like that I don't have time to mention. The township dualisation has been as Fayose left it, no significant progress. The road leading to UNAD/EKSU has only one part completed. There have been two governors after Fayose oh. Infact, a lot isn't right with the administration in Ekiti right now. But then there's room for improvisation but let Fayemi get things right and not a wild goose chase with non-viable projects. I can't say it all but I hope he does something significant soon before he's booted out like his predecessors. And like I said earlier, I'm no apologist of any governor or party but whoever is at the helm of affairs should do the right things.

Also, his promise to review the strategic position of the state within Nigeria towards becoming the major rice producer for the nation the governor is working towards raising the state's economy and job creation. Please save yourself the stress of uploading any pictures. I am a son of the soil in Ekiti and infact I have people working in the system right there. I became disenchanted with Fayemi's administration since he mooted the idea of turning that beautiful edifice serving as governor's office to a 'BROTHEL' or hotel if you like. Fayemi is busy wasting the scare resources in Ekiti. What has become of the beautification project till today? Ado township looks horrible, the roads are bad and he's coming here to advertise road repairs which is no achievement to me! It is part of a basic duties of a governor to ensure good roads, portable water and other basic amenities that makes life easier for the citizenry! You don't blow your own trumpet! He has been only busy embarking on white elephant projects. He's no better than his predecessor, Segun Oni. I am no loyalist of any political organisation but I want the best for the state and not just vague projects that have no direct impact on the life of the people!

I remember the inter-house sport. It was great fun. Infact, every sports day in Xts is a special one. Every school had a representative. They relay was always spectacular. The house that won will have a ram killed for them. It was always Babamboni (red house) during my 6 years there. I was in Dallimore (green house) and we were always 2nd. I hated it when my friends narrated how delicious the ram tasted. I felt jealous. After coming 2nd for 5 years. I switched house sharply in SS3 to taste the almight ram. Alas, it was not to be. I missed it again cos I was not around when the ate it. I still wish to taste that ram anytime I remember . The thing still dey pain me oh. Up school!!!

Wow! I remember a lot! There was Mrs. Melodi the music teacher. She was more like a demi-god. We all feared her. She will never use a cane on you but the words from are mouth are sharper than a sword. I remember misplacing my music note. I ran away from music class completely. As soon as its music period, time for bush don reach beat dat. Na to run cos if she jam u 4 class. Heaven go fall. Infact we feared her more than the principal. We later lived in the same area and she still seem mysterious to me anytime I see her. Lol.

There was the mysterious Mr. Gbenro the arts teacher. He hardly talks but his cane speaks in tongues on your backside. Along came Mr. Abe popularly called 'Okadigbo' chai! That man almost made me hate school. He was an old student so he knew all our tricks and would quickly block them. He goes around the hostels to check for those hiding there at noon. He was slapped by a student when he opened the window while they were doing hostel cooking.

There was the cadet corps! Yeeeeeeeeeh! If you are a cadet, you don get mouth be dat bt be ready to lose friends. Boys go fear u, u fit ride ur senior so far u don wear ur military khaki. If a senior don do u bad tin, na to join cadet so u go fit revenge. But e no easy sha cos na serious training and drilling.

How can I ever forget my very own Revd. Adekola with all his gbagauns. I remember his exact gbagaun on a friday noon: 'WHY ARE YOU LAUGH? DON'T LAUGH! SOMEBODY LAUGH IN THE BIBLE AND HE LEPROSY! Omo, come see laff.
