Subtext: I'm bothered by the fact that they even bothered to respond to such a rumour. Arrant nonsense!
That is what is really p*ssed me off. Why dignify such trivialities and frivolities with a response?

berem: are you saying 2 yrs? It is already present in some naija videos! CultureRe: Is Rap A Blueprint For Black Self Destruction? by cold(m): 1:25pm On Oct 25, 2012
This looks like a topic for Cap28.For those whining about rap music, ya'll need to listen to Ice Cube's 'Gangsta Rap made me do it'.As an indisputably black musical invention, rap music holds an honoured place amongst the myriad of other historically black music forms including jazz, blues, and rock ’n’ roll. Most notable is the fact that it’s the only black music form so thoroughly enjoyed in the mainstream, globally, by massive numbers of non-black music enthusiasts, and where the overwhelming group of the genre’s heroes are black.
Get over it already.Rap music is here to stay
Christianity EtcRe: Pope Appoints Archbishop John Onaiyekan, 5 Others As Cardinals by cold(m): 7:56pm On Oct 24, 2012
Catholicism & slavery are like Siamese twins. The Catholic church did not condemn slavery till 1965!The black man just continues to trudge in this world like zombies. They remain in chains & mentally enslaved. When will these people wake up from their slumber? It's a sorry state of affairs

Christianity EtcRe: Bishop Oyedepo's Winners' Chapel Accused Of Exploiting British Worshippers by cold(m): 12:33pm On Oct 21, 2012
This child abuser can get away with anything in a dysfunctional society like Nigeria where he is reverred as a demi-god. In fact God in some quarters. But not in functional society like Britain where proceeds from bussinesses are held up to proper scrutiny. You can rest assured we haven't heard the last of this issue. And when complaints eventually metamorphose to an investigation Oyedepo will have no choice but to close shops in GB & scurry back home where he'll still be God

freecocoa: I really don't get why people are condemning the Gov.
The prisoners were convicted of murder and attempted a jailbreak, upon that they are problematic and the prison authorities find them unmanageable, what would you rather he do with them?
My thoughts exactly. These armchair crirics haven't the faintest idea of what it's like to manage dangerous prisoners. Just watch 'Lock Up' on MSNBC to get an insight into the daily lives of wardens & deathrow inmates. The Comrade is in perfect order

CrimeRe: Would You Kill Robbers Attempting To Break In to Your Home? by cold(m): 11:36am On Oct 18, 2012
Ijebulogic: I see your point. I'm interested in knowing specifically what the law says. I know of a recent case where a British man was sentenced to jail for shooting and injuring (not killing) some rascal teenagers attempting to break into his house. There was outrage in the UK but that was the law. Our law is based on UK common law, so please lawyers in the house should guide us on what our rights are in Nigeria.
You're being economical with the truth here. Can we see the story of the guy that went to jail based on the action you described above? Because i am aware even as early as last week Cameron reiterated that no one would be prosecuted for protecting his familyin so far as the action taken in defence is proportionate to the crime.
Therein lies the difference between being robbed and the actions perpetrated by the killers of the Aluu4.
If you're interested in what the Nigerian law says on robbery, crime, self defence & sundry matters,go look it up in the Laws of the Federation of Nigeria 1990,as ammended. Section 430-subsection (a)-(f) i think
Christianity EtcRe: Is It Sinful For A Christian To Listen To Secular Music??? by cold(m): 11:16am On Oct 18, 2012
@ op,why worry over a problem with such a simple solution? Get your pastor,MoG,Daddy,Bishop,CEO or whatever they tag themselves these days to create a playlist for you to which he might throw in one or two new songs every month. That way you know you're keeping in tandem with the faith & you have Papa's blessing. Thus, heaven is sure. Problem solved

[quote author=Kslib]Errm, dbanj we understand how you feel, but i will strongly warn you not to involve God. Yes,you are rich, popular and all that, but that doesn't mean it is only God who give earthly riches.. Afterall, the devil also gives riches. Not all rich men got it from God,and not all rich men got it fron the devil...
Your kind of music does not in anyway glorify God. In oliver twist, you liked nikki cos her nyash was bigger.. So i advice ;Dyou to stop dragging God into this if you dont want him to equally strike you..

grin no be the same God create nyansh? Abi na Satan? Seriously though why is D'banj subjecting himself to ridicule? Wtf is Illumaniti? Only religous freaks are fixated on that crap. D'banj stop spewing fuckery & concentrate on making good music again. It's been a while.

Biden was in full attack mode last nite. Firing on all cylinders. Methinks his response to the abortion question, reconciling his Catholic beliefs with his pro choice stance was simply superb. Ryan getting gulping glasses of water for succour.

nobody asks anybody to go and still to pay tithe but if anyone goes to arrest a rev father over such, the fire of God will burn that one to ashes.
How can you reprobate & approbate at the same time? You're PDP's antagonist bar none. Calling them corrupt, thieves, devilish, nest of killers bla, bla, bla. But you have no qualms with theft & corruption in the House of the Lord,ok. Nigerians never cease to amaze me
PoliticsRe: Sanusi - 'Tired Of National Assembly Summons ' by cold(m): 4:35pm On Oct 04, 2012
See how they have all pitched tents with the reps because Sanusi is involved. Tommorrow when another topic makes the headlines they'll immediately turn on the reps. Labelling them thieves, corrupt, ole & everything in between.

These reps are just a muscle flexing bunch who needs their egos massaged from time to time to portray some sense of relevance. They can hardly be taken seriously

Christians are such hypocrites. Didn't Bishop Oyedepo lie in court about not slapping a girl when the video is there for all to see? I guess that's a spiritual lie coming from a Man of God. Mtcheew

Josh316: Not too long ago, a certain Nigerian President was ill and his Vice president DIDNT have a clue as to what was really wrong with his boss...

speculations were rife and filled the air... The Vice-President felt cheated and felt left out...

Not until the President sneaked into the country in the dead of the night in an air ambulance did it dawn on the VP (now acting president) that this was a serious matter...

Then the president died... and the VP became president... and now his own wife is sick... and speculations are again rife...

MORAL OF THIS STORY: NIGERIAN LEADERS DONT LEARN FROM PAST MISTAKES
Dayum bro!You sure laid it on thick.Nigerians are so amnesic. These folks spewing nonentities about privacy were the same folks screaming obscenities at Turai for not revealing Yar Adua's sickness to the citizenry & preventing GEJ from taking over the helm of affairs. Now the boot is on the other foot & their tune has changed to 'privacy'.Smfh! I know some re tard would come on here to tell me Dame Patience is not the president
