Ms Kemi aka Nigerian Law,i think we can both agree on this piece.Nevertheless, you still got serious issues Toronto Based Nigerian Activist MsKemi Omololu-Olunloyo Blasts Nigerian "reality" Show Pastors On the aftermath of the YouTube video released of Bishop David Oyedepo's abusive ways, the Outspoken Activist slammed Nigerian Pastors claiming they are nothing but "Reality Show Devils in Sheep Clothing" and MUST be BANNED in Canada and the USA. MsKemi Omololu-Olunloyo, Community Activist (Toronto, Canada 12/21/11) In the wake of the Bishop David Oyedepo religious "slap' scandal, MsKemi Omololu-Olunloyo, an outspoken Nigerian Crime Victim Advocate, Community Activist, Journalist and Social Media expert based in Toronto, Canada has been approached by many Nigerians in the social media world about this issue. Omololu-Olunloyo responded to the video by saying "Oyedepo is not God but a Devil in Sheep's clothing" quoting Matthew 7:15. Now comes word that the poor female member after being violently slapped was actually saying "she's not a witch but she wishes for Jesus." Nigerians and the phonetic pronounciation of things probably got this poor girl into trouble Olunloyo thought. Even if she claimed to be a witch, she may have been looking for deliverance and wasn't given the chance." She was shocked to hear Oyedepo tell the female congregation member to "go to hell!" Omololu-Olunloyo says "a man of God does not send you to hell." These church reality shows have to END and that she will be contacting Ken Copeland's ministries to see what Copeland has to say about the video watching the Bishop he ordained at one time abusing a woman on tape then bragging about it at another service claiming "the witch" came back and apologized. Olunloyo has always considered the flamboyant Redeemed Pastors as fake and evil as well as their US and Canadian counterparts. She even cited the Jesus House branch in Maryland USA headed by Pastor Ghandi as a bunch of "liars, cheats, reality show characters and devils in sheep clothing." She goes on to say "We see your multi-million $ houses, cars and the hurt you cause everyone else Monday-Saturday then bring in your lies on Sunday. That fake act needs to END." She's calling on the US and Canadian Embassy to DENY Bishop David Oyedepo a VISA to North America if he ever plans a trip here for his occasional International prayer vigils. "He is an ABUSIVE PASTOR and I am scared of this happening to a person here. I am an advocate for CRIME VICTIMS and abused people! I will have to call in Toronto Police and the RCMP if that were to happen and I am not taking chances." She continues "Abusing a member of congregation in a church, regardless of age is unacceptable! Why do you Nigerians even let the word "Pastor and Wealthy" be in the same sentence. Kudos to your ignorance feeding his donation plates every Sunday." The last time Omololu-Olunloyo attempted to ban anyone from performing in Canada was Rapper Cam'Ron who released a CD titled "Crime Pays" during a 3 week period where 6 young men were gunned down in Toronto. She asked Torontonians to sign a petition and boycott the CD at Best Buy Canada. The CD was later pulled from shelves and put online only. A year later the rapper was banned from entering Canada because of a previous 2003 machine gun charge. Canada and even the US which she lived for 30 years will not tolerate violence in it's communities let alone churches. Omololu-Olunloyo is also a Toronto Police Volunteer and sits on the Community Police Liason Board of the 12th Precinct, York-South Weston. Olunloyo posted a Facebook comment on several pages FB which garnered a lot of "likes" "95% of the so called "NIGERIAN" CHURCHES are FAKE! Fake sh*t all over the planet be it in Nigeria, USA or Canada! I don't attend them. "Reedem" is the WORST. Pastor Adeboye, Oyedepo and all those other Mega Pastors are the most fraudulent religous entities the DEVIL ever created. I will listen to a snake preach to me in the Garden of Eden than sit in front of these Pastors! If the church is not the rest 5% of conventional places of worship, don't attend them!---Kemi Omololu-Olunloyo 12/17/11" |

Timijo: Those saying that PDP is BH are not helping matter at all. Infact, they are objects of confusion. Why saying what you don't know? The looser of the 2011 election vowed to make the tenure of GEJ ungovernable and indeed he is doing what he said. But he has forgotten that God reigns and his days are numbered. If a northern man has emerged has president, there wouldn't have been any BH. What amaze me is that many christians that suppose to support GEJ and the nation with prayers have now b'com critics. This is what a hausa man will never do. You we hear them (hausas) saying "Namu ne" meaning, he is our own i.e. Our son. My complaints and yours cannot stop the act of terrorism, but God can. Let's join voice together in prayer for God to deliver this Great Nation from terrorism. Thanks. cold: ^^Sharrap!Shatap!Shut the fvck up already! |

Azazi blames Boko Haram attacks on PDP The retired General made this known during the second day of the South-south economic summit where the collapse of the nation’s security challenge was deliberated on. Tracing the rise of Boko Haram’s attack, the chief security adviser to the president stated that “the extent of violence did not increase in Nigeria until when there was a declaration by the current president that he was going to contest.” “PDP got it wrong from the beginning, from the on-set by saying Mr A can rule, Mr A cannot rule ……according to PDP’s convention, rules and regulation and not according to the constitution and that created the climate for what has manifest itself, this way.” He added that there is some level of political undertone to the problem. He also noted that the bombings, suicide attacks and jail breaks that have been raging the northern part of the country “could be traced to the politics of exclusion of the PDP in the region.” Blaming the notion of anointing candidates and the ‘do or die’ attitude of the political party, Retired General Azazi asked why “is it possible that somebody was thinking that only Mr. A could win, and that if he could not win, there would be problems in this society?” “Let’s examine all these issues to see whether the level of violence in the North East just escalated because Boko Haram suddenly became better trained, better equipped and better funded, or something else was responsible.” “It takes very long for somebody to be a sniper,” Mr. Azazi said. He affirmed the level of sophistication of the group but also gave assurance that the government is aware of all their doings in a bid to addressing the issue. “I can assure you that Boko Haram can garner that level of sophistication over time, if it has not got it already. There are a lot we know that they are doing, and there are a lot that could be done to address the problem.” “But, then I must also be quick to point out that today, even if all the leaders that we know in Boko Haram are arrested, I don’t think the problem would end, because there are tentacles. I don’t think that people would be satisfied, because the situations that created the problems are not just about the religion, poverty or the desire to rule Nigeria. I think it’s a combination of everything. Except you address all those things comprehensively, it would not work” he added. On a final solution, the security adviser discourage just the use of force but called for a collective effort to address the economic problems of the north saying “it is not enough for us to have a problem in 2009 and you send soldiers to stop the situation, then tomorrow you drive everybody underground. You must look at what structures you need to put in place to address the problem holistically. There are economic problems in the North, which are not the exclusive prerogative of the Northerners. We must solve our problems as a country.” He noted that the relationship between national security and development is inseparable, because “one cannot do without the other” the NSA said. http://www.channelstv.com/home/2012/04/27/azazi-blames-boko-haram-attacks-on-pdp/ |

NNPC denies allegation of fuel subsidy report The management of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) has denied allegations raised by the House of Representative committee probe which indicted it along with other agencies for mis-managing the sum of N1.067 trillion involved in the fuel subsidy scheme. A press statement on Sunday by the group general manager group public affairs division of the corporation, Dr Levi Ajuonuma denied the allegation that the company made simultaneous withdrawals from two different sources to recover it subsidy claims. The Farouk Lawan-led House of Representatives ad hoc committee on the subsidy regime management, while submitting the report indicted the NNPC, the Petroleum Products Pricing Regulatory Agency (PPPRA) and some oil marketers and called for a refund of N1.067 trillion to the nation’s treasury. The committee also asked the NNPC to refund the over N310.42billion deductions it took illegally as subsidy arrears for kerosene supplied in 2009 and 2010, pointing out that this was made in spite of a presidential directive specifically addressed to the minister, who is also chairman of the NNPC Board of Directors. Alluding to a part of the report which accused the NNPC of withdrawing from two different sources simultaneously to recover it subsidy claims, Dr Ajuonuma stated that “the corporation at no time made such double withdrawals”, adding that “such a claim is totally unfounded and absurd.” The group challenged the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) and the ad hoc committee to provide evidence that the alleged payments were made to the corporation. “They must show authorisation for the payments as well as breakdown of the amount, purpose for the payments, beneficiary accounts in which such payments were made and the utilisation of such payments” it demanded. The NNPC spokesman explained that rather than collecting such payments from CBN, the corporation applied such subsidy approvals as credit due to the corporation towards the cost of its domestic crude allocation. He noted that “subsidy payments to NNPC is not based on cash remittance.” “The mechanics of subsidy recovery by NNPC is not fund-based but by way of deduction form crude cost due” adding that “the commencement of the subsidy regime there was never a time when CBN paid any money to NNPC in respect of subsidy claim.” Dr Ajuonuma lamented that despite the presentation of all the necessary documents and information to the probe committee, such “unfounded allegation against the corporation.” “For instance, NNPC presented to PPPPRA approvals for 2011 totalling N81billion out of which only N844.9billion has been credited to NNPC. But surprisingly the committee claimed that PPPRA approved only N504billion and that the balance was excess payment to NNPC .what logic,’’ he asked. The oil company after reviewing the report insists that “the committee seems not to be sure of its action as its intention was really not to clarify the subsidy payments but more interested in maligning and damaging the reputation of the corporation as well as other key players of the industry.” He also picked holes in the committees’ query of NNPC deduction of subsidy payment as a first line charge. “The basis for the deduction of both cash calls for joint venture operations and NNPC’s subsidy payments as a first line charge on the income of the federal government is statutory and founded on the appropriation act which was passed by the national assembly. Under the said appropriation act, certain budgetary items including subsidy payments to the NNPC are listed as first line charges on the income of the federation,’’ he explained. He further adds that “the committee accepted the cash call as first line charge yet alleged that the subsidy aspect was illegal.” Dr Ajuonuma stated that “it is clear that the tune of the committee’s report is not only damaging to the corporation but to the entire nation.” http://www.channelstv.com/home/2012/04/22/nnpc-denies-allegations-of-fuel-subsidy-report/ |
