Sports › Re: Time To Stop Betting As Year 2017 Ends by Coldfeets: 12:26pm On Jan 01, 2018 |
prettyboy5: Sport betting is one of oldest businesses in the world, its funny how Nigerians label it as a curse because they are losing from it because they don't know the rules.
Betting is one of the key players than hold the football world today, matches are well regulated because plenty betting companies sponsor lots of football clubs and hence why the game has to be with little or not match fixing so betting companies are not outsmarted of their money.
Nigerians lose because of the following:
Greed Lack of insight in studying what they are playing Not seeing it as a business, they see it as luck Needing to accumulate a lot of games using a 100 naira ticket Not specializing in a particular betting market which they are more skilled in.
See guys, I'm referring to football betting and not the other rubbish like virtual and all. Football betting is less gambling than the rest. Knowing that Tottenham or Madrid or Barca always scores at home based on statistics and betting that they would score at home is less of gamble than the actual gamble of throwing a dice and hoping for an outcome, that is how you need to see football betting.
I discovered my strength in football betting and the most likely to happen which are goals and I have concentrated on it and by Gods grace I have never been a loser. Within the last 3 months of 2017 I won about 165k and didn't invest more than 15k in the process. I set my goal every week and don't spend about 1k that week.
Even when I won something like 45k from a 200 naira bet, I still maintained my standard. The only thing limiting how big of profits I can be making is the fact that I don't stake high, and part of my strategies is that I would only start staking big when I win the bookies big as well.
I tell you something, if you have been betting for a while and know your onions but not making much of a profit its because of your financial power. You know why? I'm sure if you bet on like 15 games to score over 2 goals, at least like 10 of such games should go as planned if you are not a newbie, now imagine if you took out each single game and play them individually and play them with 10k each, even if only 10 out of 15 come out good, you would still make profit guaranteed. That is how those in the UK and US bet, but here everyone wants to win15 million naira with a 100 naira bet, such rarely happens.
People like the OP get into things without having no dept knowledge about it, they hold on to luck and are carried away with the potential winnings they see, and when they lose they come crying and make betting seem like a curse of something, Africans always wanna get things wrong and then make unnecessary noise about it, in developed countries the majority of gambling which make people lose money a lot are the core gambling markets like poker, casino, cards, etc, football betting is never a major culprit because football betting is real and has a lesser degree of gambling in it.
Lastly, what's the difference between football betting and investing in forex trading? If you understand both, you'd know there is no difference. Get your act together rather than coming here to cry over your very own intellectual inadequacies as regards applying it to football betting. Damn! Youve already revealed a lot. But all the same, thanks for this your priceless contribution. Those who have ears, let them hear... |

Bollinger: The number one problem hindering a lot of people is religion. The fact of the matter is prayers connotes belief in some higher power who will help you to somehow achieve whatever you want. There is no higher power. You are the architect of your own successes and failures. Anything a pastor tells you is based on common sense. They are basically motivational speakers. Life is fraught with daily challenges and a lot of people do not know how to tackle these challenges. A lot of their problems are self inflicted and instead of taking personal responsibility and learning from it, they rather blame the "devil". And they keep blaming the "devil" thereby denying themselves the opportunity to develop resilience and also learning from whatever life lessons life is trying to teach them. Being a successful person is easy as phuck. I can teach anyone to become one. And it does not involve kneeling, praying, blaming and monetary donations/tithe. Except maybe the funds one uses to fund their education. Thank you so much for these words of wisdom. Unfortunately many africans are still wallowing ignorantly in the dark. |

I don't know if any of you fools making the comparison will understand the implications of these statements. Ndi nzuzu. Focus on your own life; you will not. I am seriously enjoying the wailings of all these stupid wailers. My reason is very simple. They will wail until 2023. Because it is and will always be... Sai Baba till 2023! Idiots expecting magic that their stupid and useless fathers cannot even perform. Fools thinking that the backlog of Nigeria's problems can be solved in just one day. Una never see sontin. Una go wail tire. Those of us who truly voted for buhari still have great faith in him. This is because we know that we voted in a silent achiever into power and not a magician. If you cannot bear those thoughts, the lagoon might be a better resting place for thee... Ndi nzuzu. |
