While not in support of the scam, I am also not surprised to hear that they got wind of the issue from a whistle blower. Some Nigerians and their bad belle. |
Share the info with her not minding her ungratefulness after which you sign out completely out of her life. One of the lessons to learn in life, never expect your good deeds to be appreciated by everyone you help. Infact, some will label you evil and plot evil against you for helping them. It shouldn't stop you from doing good. You will not be rewarded by them but by God. Very true. And while we are at it, let us also remember that God does so much for us daily. How many times do we say thank you to him? Daily? Only on Sundays and Fridays? Some even wait for Christmas to do thanksgiving. Yet we are all appalled when the lady in question said she wanted to wait till her confirmation. God help us. |
Kangaroo govt. The people got what they deserved. After collecting bags of rice what do you expect? |
@Rotecch77: Kindly send same to me too. lynass80@yahoo.com Lynn from Gbagada |
They will be laughing in the us for this sort of story...Cure for hiv?
Really? So your Almighty United States have all the answers right? Slave mentality! |
What about those who approach passengers on buses with phony medical bills and reports? I have ceased to pay them any attention. |
You don't know anything. What can N20 buy? I guess that was what was on this beggar's mind. Lol. |
OP: for real? It seems you have hooked for yourself a man from the stone-age. What I don't understand is why your fiance bothered to look for a wife in the first place. He should have given the contract to his parents instead. Anyway, good luck to you. I hope you won't be coming back to nairaland to complain of how the parents' interference in your home is causing you problems? |
So true. Most women find it hard to treat other people's kids nicely. We know what our kids love and we give it to them. We need to learn how to love. That is the only reason why we find it difficult to treat others decently. |
The invasion of privacy is something else. No place is completely off-limits. You might even have to schedule intimacy time because some little girl might choose that very moment at midnight to come knocking on the door. Lol. |
This is the height of stupidity. You have money to buy gorgeous clothing such as that worn in the pix yet, you can kill for just N2000! I have always known that many policemen in Lagos are insane. Very sad news. |
Yes. It is real. Is there anything wrong with taking a swim right after you disembark from a plane? This is Naija. We do things differently. |
Only this evening, I considered some salient points in your write-up. I got back from work only to be handed an advert from a school just two blocks down the street. This school used to be a crèche but has now been upgraded to a full-fledged school with hardly enough space for five adults to maneuver and no playground. I tossed the school bill and advert into the bin. Funny. That is the kind of life some people live in urban centres. |
Serves him right. Crime does not pay and it kills. |
oyewalesamuel:I am almost at that stage in my project. Waiting patiently for an expert to shed more light. |
Kudos to Oga Spyder, the house prefect, Hajji M and my fellow classmates. Following keenly. Can't wait to see the finished product. Kudos. |
Following. |
Threads like this rekindles my hope in Nigeria. To think that we still have parents who care to discipline, train and correct. This should be on the front page not 'who wore it better?' |
Tanx all, I forgot to add that he is exceptionally bright for his age. Could he be frustrated? I will see about a psychologist. |
A psychologist? Where do I get a psychologist? The Hospital we are registered don't have one. |
God, please let it not be Ebola o |
House, Pls. assist me. My son is 2 and a half years old. For two weeks now, whenever he is angry which is almost every hour, he turns on himself and bites his left wrist. The bite marks are clearly visible. His wrist has turned black, and I am getting scared that one day the bite would become an injury? what do I do? What kind of doctor does he need? Every little altercation with his sister, or even asking for something and he doesn't get it, makes him mad. |
Go with your heart. Kids are a blessing and not a curse. If relocating now will make them have a better life later on, why not? you are lucky to have a mum who will look after them for this transition period. Look at the big picture. Sometimes we make sacrifices today so that tomorrow would be better. |
Another zoo animal. |
maskid:You are too funny. |
Na indomie! ![]() |
The last time such an event happened was just before the last presidential election. Nigerians have a very short memory. No wonder the ruling class are able to do what they do best- deceiving Nigerians since 1824 AD. |
Congratulations Juliana! |
@bossladyMo: Tanx a lot. Putting it the way you did helped me come to a decision. God Bless you. |
