Family / Re: Outrageous Traditional Marriage List In Akwa Ibom: Man Runs Away by Collyno82(m): 9:52am On Feb 11, 2021
Ctorch:
A Nigerian man who was getting set to marry his Akwa Ibom girlfriend, has reportedly abandoned the wedding plans prematurely, owing to the outrageous engagement list given to him by his girl’s family.

On the list were a variety of consumables and non consumables expected to be provided by the groom before their engagement which is meant to hold in the lady’s hometown in Akwa Ibom state.

A Twitter user who shared the story alongside photos of the list, said the man in question allegedly fled at the sight of the list.

All this nonsense started from the time Gov. Akpabio opened their eyes. That is what he meant by uncommon transformation.

I gave instances of barren women that gave birth to one in a million children. The problem is that the church today seem to lack the mindset of God where quality supersedes numbers, that's why we're busy gathering thrash up and down and not quality like the church Christ built. Jesus gathered multitude but you should be able to figure out the difference between the multitude and His church.

Many are called but few are chosen. The many called are the multitude but the chosen few are His church that's why He spoke to them in parables at some point but revealed the meaning of the parable to His church. Many who were also called of His disciples left Him but the few chosen which is His church stayed. The point is that quality should come before numbers.

The gospel Jesus asked us to preach is the Word of the Spirit which He preached that made many of His disciples to turn their backs on Him, so the same result is expected if the Word He preached is preached. It would produce quality first before numbers. That's the only way we could be able to produce a church of similar quality to that which Jesus built.

God bless.
Unfortunately it is not in our hands to make perfect what you referred to as quality. Our mandate is to tell people that this same Jesus who died will surely come back again, whatever He makes out of the multitude we gathered for him is not in our place to judge if they are of quality. My take. Good morning n do have a wonderful day ahead.

Check most of the barren people in the Bible when they give birth, one was one! That's speaking of quality. Barren Hannah gave birth to Samuel who a rare prophet when vision and prophesies was scarce in Israel. Can you remember any son of her mate who was not barren?

It's better to have one child of quality than ten that are without.

Spiritual quality cannot be overemphasized concerning the church.

God bless.
unfortunately the kingdom of God can't be liken to a barren woman. Cos God ask us to go and multiply, by extension evangelize. Evangelism brings about multitude. Even Jesus Christ during his evangelistic work, gathered multitude.

Church is not about numbers but spiritual quality. Many of Jesus disciples left Him. That didn't make Him to be any less approved of God than He was. It in fact confirmed His focus being on pleasing God than on pleasing men.

But those who have the orientation of the world would see that as a failure and if He done the contrary to make the many disciple remain as success, "but wisdom is justified of her children!"

God bless.

wrong assumption. His life didn't change because he married a wealthy man's daughter. Ebuka is a hard-working young man.

A big lie (German: große Lüge) is a propaganda technique used for political purpose or, more formally, "a gross distortion or misrepresentation of the facts, especially when used as a propaganda device by a politician or official body".[1] The expression was coined by Adolf Hitler, when he dictated his 1925 book Mein Kampf, about the use of a lie so "colossal" that no one would believe that someone "could have the impudence to distort the truth so infamously". Hitler believed the technique was used by Jews to blame Germany's loss in World War I on German general Erich Ludendorff, who was a prominent nationalist and antisemitic political leader in the Weimar Republic. The claim that Germany was not beaten in 1918 was itself called a big lie.[2]
then was your point

Honestly, Nigerian men lack bedmatic skills.
Out of 100%, only 1% understands what it takes to be a god in bed.

You still see them complain of how the woman can't even perform perfectly on bed. Who's the cause of it??

Stress alone from house hold activities can make anyone to blackout. They won't even lend a helping hand.

Romance==== Zero ooo Zero ooo

I pray my first time (if there'll be one),be with a professional amongst the 1 percent.

Honestly,I think faults in marriages sometimes comes from the issues generated by the man.
I'm not disputing the fact that some ladies ain't bad too but,I think men need to understand their purpose.
Is like you Fu*k a lot, with your statistics of 100 to 1 percent

I don't agree with shehu sanni on this....it does not work like that in Nigeria especially where the citizens do not trust the government, Some might say the vaccine will kill them so therefore, they won't take it but when they see the number one citizen and the number to citizen of the country on live television taking the jabs, I think that will give them sense of trust so is the way to go even in the developed countries subject to the kind of privilege whereby he the prime minister or the president get the jab on live television

Have met so many people with disabilities and one thing I notice in most (notice the most) is, because of low self esteem, they are violent, wicked sometimes and tend to react quickly to even matters that requires you laugh slightly and walk away...
And at the same time, some of them are nice, have come across some that have positive vibe so if am to judge, i will say 70% are violent while the rest 30 are good...
It's like they always wait for you to say something wrong so they can vent their anger and frustration on you....

For those quoting me, I wrote what I wrote here based on years of working with many of them.. I have made alot of easy aids for most of them and working with so many of them over the years made me draw my conclusions..
If you make even the slightest mistake, they will tell you it's because they are disabled and you look down on them.. They don't take things easy and they flare up at the slightest provocation...
You might have met disabled angels but have met both the good, the bad and the ugly...
I still blame Dana. Why didn't they communicate the new policy to the public. Probably he has been doing night journey with them all this while.
