Politics / Re: We Will Offer Professional Guidance On Lekki Airport - NCAA by colp2015: 9:09am On Oct 11, 2022 |
Racoon:The answer to your question is a 'no' IF the landing airstrips in both airports are at least a thousand meters apart. Note Most airports have one airstrip for landing and multiple airstrips for take off. Some airports like New York JFK, O'Hare in Chicago, Los Angeles, and Dallas Forth Worth have multiple landing airstrips. |
Politics / Re: Analysing Peter Obi’s Plans To Remove Import Restrictions – Reno Omokri by colp2015: 4:57pm On Oct 08, 2022 |
FlyoruB: Granted, imports dependent economy is not good for any coutry; but we have a unique case in Nigeria whereby all known economic indices and factors fall flat due to corruption, and sabotage, largely in the public sector. What is the way out? 1. We need a synthetic economic plan to salvage the economy by making household products available at a cheaper price. 2. We need an economic system that makes multipurpose equipments available for income purposes. Examples are Keke Napep, Used Vehicles from Europe and America. 3. The multipurpose machines should be highly subsidised for the populace OR government can create a parastatal to oversee distribution and selling of equipments to the public at controlled prices. It is understandable that importation is bad news for local growth, but the proposed solution marked item #2 will create a buffer for economic hardship which is currently biting hard on people. 4. Benin Republic thrives heavily on Importation of goods (mostly used items), but without any life threaning economic backlash as a result. Their currency takes the worst hit for being the dumping ground for foreign goods. The merit of the economic system adopted by Benin Republic is that there is abundance of 'foreign goods' which makes the populace to focus on the Agric sector; thus there is abundance of food production in Benin Republic. I understand very well that importation of goods is bad news (in the long run), but we can adopt a temporal economic sysyem that allows influx of foreign goods into the economy so the masses can generate sustainable income through open borders. First step in the synthetic economic system is to open our borders. What About Local.Manufacturers? With the scarcity of foreign exchange and closed borders with porous restrictions on importation of goods, our manufacturers are currently closing shops at the speed of light and center no longer holds for local production. What to do? Despite restrictions on importation to eliminate capital flight, many unscrupulous people still find ways to circumvent the clampdown and thereby sabotage government's efforts to strengthen our currency. The best way to go now is to open our borders. We can still strengthen our currency while at the same time maintain an open border system by eliminating the use of U.S dollars in foreign transactions. Chinese currency and Japanese Yen can come to the rescue. The proposition above are practical steps to alleviate suffering in the land. We can plug this temporary measure and allow it to run for two years before we start removing the plugs. |
Politics / Re: Nigeria Will Soon Shock The World, Naira Will Be Strong Again – Pastor Enenche by colp2015: 2:33pm On Aug 11, 2022 |
Obidatti2023s:You're right with your objective analysis, but the Pastor is correct on his prophecy about Naira gaining strength against other foreign currency. I also believe our international passport will regain its lost glory. Any Evidence to Support My Belief? Yes! Somewhere in the Middle East a team of software developers is working on an income system that is designed to improve standard of living for 1.5 billion deprived populace; out of these 1.5 billion people, the program is going to mop up 110 million Nigerians. The income system will increase the average daily purchasing power in Nigeria from one dollar and fifty cents ($1.5) to $46/day. With just ten million Nigerians in the program, the country will earn a minimum of $17 billion every month. There is more about the monthly possible earnings that will flow into Nigeria through an innovative income system that will be introduced when the program gets to 15 million members. I will not share details here but rest assured that this post will make headlines in less than two years from now. It is okay if you do not believe the project is possible. I guarantee that you too will be surprised (as I am by the blueprint) that an idea from one unknown person could rescue a nation as big as Nigeria from poverty. Shalom! |

Indispensable85:Adulterated palm oil, groundnut oil, food items, diesel laden honey, chlorine and chemical induced akpu - just to mention a few. I almost forgot - Semovita is the number destroyer of vital human organs. A little experiment: Just before you eat a bowl of Semovita, check your blood pressure and possibly blood sugar level if you have Accu-Chek or any blood sugar machine....recheck your blood pressure and blood sugar one or two hours later. It is understandable if many people think my submission about Semovita is a lie; but do yourself a favor and carry out the experiment. I have chosen to side with truth no matter whose ox is gored! |

Barrings Bank went bankrupt overnight when one of their staff lost $9 Billion dollars to a bad trading decision. You can say whatever you like - especially if you are a staff - I know too well that Hedge Fund Managers can run into problems due to bad investment decisions. 1 Like 1 Share |

lebete3000:I suggest you find a way to stop the monthly deduction from your account . What is your goal - to secure your income or to increase it? Keeping your money (Savings) in the most unstable currency (Naira) is the worst form of investment. Why not try the money markets through a copy trading services? You can start with $20 and then increase your stakes after 30 days of performance. Your are fully in control of your capital if you take this route. I wish you all the best. |
Investment / Re: 86fb Football Ponzi Scheme Steals Over N200 Billion - Investors Cry Out by colp2015: 9:43am On May 12, 2022 |
lebete3000:The only legit way to invest in any company is through the Stock market. Any other method is illegal. Companies listed on the local stock market are the approved public companies. If you invest in any company through a private arrangement, there is no government policy or regulation that can secure your investment or mandate the partner company to live up to the agreement. The best government can do is to liquidate the assets of the private company which does not mean investors will get their capital. Both parties - investors and company - are culpable of criminal act, so investors are most likely not going to get their money back. |

lebete3000:Both companies can veer off into a ponzi arena with their modus operandi. It is just a matter of time. Any investment company that requires the public to invest funds with the promise of a fixed return over a period of time can veer off into a ponzi arena, their status with SEC irrespective. To invest, the public is required to do so through the Stock Exchange Center. |

omoyeni37:We need to get the name of our collective problem right. It is not greed but ignorance. The seed of ignorance is planted by our dysfunctional education system and the outcome (fruit) is mental laziness. We, as a people, want money with little to zero mental engagements. Nigerians will rather borrow money to invest for a fixed return on a daily, weekly, or monthly, basis than learn a skill. A distant relation asked me to advise her if she should invest 10,000 Naira in a program. I told her to learn a skill on investment programming with 5,000 Naira. She didn't let me finish with explanation before she interjected: "I am through with school. I have a degree in Business Administration." Truly, she is a degree holder from one university but yet remains ignorant and unexposed. 4 Likes |

deewhydoski: IPC is an unfortunate investment scheme. The company's directors started with good intentions but were caught up by unforseen contingency. Rule of thumb: Do not invest in any program that requires you to send money to a platform, company, or person, for a fixed return on investment (ROI). There are better and safer ways to invest and grow capital online without sending money to anyone. 2 Likes |
